- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -13/+304Get ready for "The Bump".
- Klak, on 10/30/2008, -19/+209color me suprised, the conservative that doesn't watch the show doesn't get the joke.

Skip to 5:25 for context. Skip to 0:00 if you don't suck. - dlm85, on 10/30/2008, -11/+158It amazes me how many people don't get Colbert. I can only imagine how many conservative would walk around quoting him if he was on fux news.
- paintgrl, on 10/30/2008, -27/+127Colbert is a genius.
- m4532v, on 10/30/2008, -14/+106"Consarnit! Lilly-livered rackin' frakin' varmint would restore America's image on the world stage. Ka-blam. Pow."
Yousemite Sam
Always thought he was a Republican! - minnull, on 10/30/2008, -1/+77I went to watch Colbert on Tuesday and the actual taping of the show was delayed for two hours because Colbert was doing rewrites. One of the writers chatted with us while this was happening and told us that he makes up a huge portion of what the show is and is always rewriting the show before its being taped. Not saying the writers aren't geniuses but Colbert also deserves some credit.
- jerrolds, on 10/30/2008, -11/+75I don't know why - but i was compelled to actually applaud as he announced his endorsement for Barack Obama, in my living room eating cereal - I felt like i was a part of something special..
- barron2020, on 10/30/2008, -5/+69LOL some of these Obama haters must be miserable with no sense of humor.
This is from COMEDY Central people, lighten up. - SkinnerBox, on 10/30/2008, -3/+56Actually, a friend of mine who thinks she is conservative but doesn't actually know anything about politics got 3/4 of the way through I Am America and So Can You without realizing that it was a work of sustained irony. She "agreed with him but thought he took it too far some times."
- Trekhawk, on 10/30/2008, -116/+168Color me surprised. The liberal satirizing conservatives endorses a liberal.
- EmperorPsiblade, on 10/30/2008, -18/+64Yeah, in this country, it's pretty nuts to vote for and elect a good candidate.
- Dystisis, on 10/30/2008, -4/+50Wooosh!
- bnitro, on 10/30/2008, -9/+53I want to solve the puzzle Is it....Naggers?
- JoeParanoid, on 10/30/2008, -36/+75Well, that does it for me and Colbert. He's fallen for the bait like every other rube. Now all future politicians will market themselves like a product and campaigns where issues are actually discussed will be long a thing of the past.
- AtraNoxVII, on 10/30/2008, -14/+52THE MAJORITY OF THE U_NITED SITES OF Pie-MERICA
You idiot, you just put a blank spot between the U and N of United. There isn't a blank space there. You forgot to take the letter out. Fail. - vagrantwade, on 10/30/2008, -37/+71And do you want to know who is going to endorse Obama on Tuesday? I will make a "fill-in-the-blank" game out of it;
T_E M_JORITY _F T_E U_NITED ST_TES _F _MERICA - ginestony, on 10/30/2008, -6/+39McCain's campaign put the space between U and NITED. He's running the most divisive campaign in modern history.
- Conky, on 10/30/2008, -3/+36Did you have to take off your white hood to post that? REAL Americans know that there are no real or unreal Americans, just Americans. Get over it you racist moron. Read a book other than Mien Kempf or your KJ Bible. Just say ***** next time, at least you will be honest with yourself.
- Speed, on 10/30/2008, -0/+31The show is satire. He's a Democrat who rips on the Republicans through irony.
- thespiff, on 10/30/2008, -2/+31He campaigned as a Democrat in the primaries. He was almost on the ballot in North Carolina. For real.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -4/+32The joke just went that way... I think you missed it.
- wendelgee2, on 10/30/2008, -8/+35She's not conservative, she's a ***** idiot. Lately they've been scarily similar. Exhibit A: Joe the Plumber's budding congressional campaign.
- ousthouse, on 10/30/2008, -1/+27my brain hurts!!
- Frodoholic, on 10/30/2008, -0/+26It doesn't matter, the character of Stephen colbert is different than the actual person of Stephen Colbert.
- DaftMonk, on 10/30/2008, -2/+27Can you imagine if McCain actually endorses Obama? Take the rational impossibility off your mind, just think openly about it.
What would that say about division? - ligyron, on 10/30/2008, -19/+43Well, that settles it. Obama 08
- GregFD3S, on 10/30/2008, -14/+38This guy is a comedic genius.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -14/+37I thought you were serious, until I saw your username.
I lol'd. I lol'd hard. So hard, I shat many bricks. - derekmas10, on 10/30/2008, -1/+23Wow... not only stupid, but racist, too.
Go suck off a shotgun... wouldja? - inactive, on 10/30/2008, -10/+32That's because Republican supporters have no sense of humour. They aren't funny. Take the 1/2 Hour News Hour for example.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -0/+22Colbert did great shows even when his writers were on strike. He is absolutely brilliant.
- sonofalink, on 10/30/2008, -0/+21He's not, his character is.
Ever seen the show? - inactive, on 10/30/2008, -3/+24You are aware that the entire show is a comedy show, right? Because, when you balk at Stephen Colbert making outlandish claims, it makes me start to worry you believe it's all for real. Stephen Colbert is an actor. He's only playing a role on television to make people laugh.
- inactive, on 10/30/2008, -2/+22Let us not forget Colbert's delivery, which is genius in its own write.
- wonderchemist, on 10/30/2008, -0/+20I don't think the Wheel of Fortune demographic is going to support Obama.
- Lungkisser, on 10/30/2008, -1/+20AtraNox the Neutral Guy is not so neutral towards your failure.
- Quizboy, on 10/30/2008, -0/+19Well they did invite him to speak at the 2006 White House Correspondents Dinner, guess they learned their lesson now.
- Speed, on 10/30/2008, -0/+18He never said that. He even said once that he was a Democrat.
- thePTS, on 10/30/2008, -3/+20Nah, what's really funny is that "Hussein" is winning the election, and you will have to live with it for 4 years.
I lol'd. - AtraNoxVII, on 10/30/2008, -1/+18...yeah see the joke is no longer funny when you explain it...
Douche. - inactive, on 10/30/2008, -1/+18You're a sad, little poo bag.
- waterboy4453, on 10/30/2008, -2/+18He's not voting at all. Didn't catch that?
- jessehadden, on 10/30/2008, -5/+21It's funny, see, because so many actual real genuine Republicans are endorsing Obama.
- Bith8654, on 10/31/2008, -1/+17@5urr3al5am: You realize there is more to a candidate than their experience. Otherwise Ted Stevens would be the most qualified person for office, I mean he's the longest serving Republican senator, what could go wrong?
- Brad87, on 10/30/2008, -3/+18Unbelievable.
- twiztidsinz, on 10/31/2008, -2/+17I don't think McCain voters have color TV.
- RBasil, on 10/30/2008, -5/+20Colbert's show is satire and he is satirizing Bill O'Reilly. He is obviously quite good because a lot of you don't know what comedy is.
- ginestony, on 10/30/2008, -14/+28Colbert's writers are geniuses
