the coolest thing to me was that the powers sprung up in people 'all of a sudden', then we find out that some dude in ancient feudal japan had powers. it was supposed to be an 'oh *****' moment but instead it was a 'this ***** sucks' moment for me. - madk, on 05/14/2008, -4/+47As much as season 2 disappointed me...I'll still give it another shot.

He admited that the love stories were boring, and that the revelation of a deserted New York should have happened in the first episode. You can only play that card so many times. The narraration pisses me off too. It smacks of every "Desperate Housewives" show out there that has to narrarate because they assume that their audience is too stupid to figure out the moral of the story themselves and they assume that they always have to teach us some damn lesson.

- Aidje, on 05/14/2008, -2/+7I've always thought that superspeed was a pretty stupid superpower, so I was pretty disappointed when I first heard that it would be on Heroes. Hopefully they'll show how much it sucks in comparison to time manipulation, and Daphne will just get owned (a situation that sounds like that is described in this article, so I have hope).

BUT, I'm willing to give the show this season to make up for last. If it doesn't catch me in the first few episodes, I probably won't continue watching...

- Treshnell, on 05/14/2008, -1/+8They're only as fast as they can react. If this chick's reflexes/reactions are sped up along with her physical speed (which they'll have to be, unless she slows time to appear fast), she can do something before they'd have time to react by stopping time.
And if she's fast enough, she likely can't even be seen. They'd have to constantly freeze time every second (or faster) just to see if she's in the room. - tackle, on 05/14/2008, -4/+9Heroes is just awful. I stop watching it in the middle of last season. With all the new characters and their special powers, the show has already reached a point where the writers can give us whatever bull-***** they want and none of the viewers can question any of their logic behind it.
