- SmilinChris, on 03/16/2009, -2/+68oh hamburgers!
- jolshwar, on 03/16/2009, -3/+63Cartman's Journal, March 16th: "A Kenny died tonight..."
- PixelMagic, on 03/16/2009, -1/+51Astark's journal, March 16, 2009. Nerd carcass in comment thread this morning, breakfast burrito grease on large stomach. Digg is afraid of me. I have seen its true face.
The threads are extended gutters and the gutters are full of memes and when the drains finally scab over, all the liberals will drown.:
The accumulated filth of all their pot stories and cat pictures will foam up about their waists and all the powerusers and apple fanboys will look up and shout "Save Us!"...and I'll look down, and whisper, "No". - Misinformant, on 03/16/2009, -2/+47Starring Kenny as Rorschach?
- sigmaman2, on 03/16/2009, -0/+28Dear God, please don't let "The Coon" be Token.
- bjs3171, on 03/16/2009, -0/+27Southpark takes on The Watchmen by making a storyline that has absolutely nothing to do with the Watchmen in any way.
Wait... - KrazyGamerHead, on 03/16/2009, -1/+24Buried for title and article. The episode has nothing to do with Watchmen from the description. If anything it's more like Batman with the whole solo person going for vigilante justice idea in my opinion.
- Spanq, on 03/16/2009, -2/+22No, not really, because you just summed up about the only good programming on Comedy Central. All their other shows, the movies they play, and their other attempts at animation are absolutely ***** horrible. Even their new comedians are ***** and they just roasted Larry the ***** Cable Guy.
- SpoonMSU, on 03/16/2009, -0/+19Hadn't crossed my mind.
In fact, I might be disappointed if Professor Chaos ISN'T a part of this episode now... - Astark, on 03/16/2009, -9/+28Oh my God, if I have to read the words 'The Watchmen" one more time, I'm gonna start taking hostages.
- nickervision, on 03/16/2009, -7/+25So stoked on this... I nearly pissed myself at the last one. Poor jonas brothers... and mickey mouse was ***** hilarious. Matt and Trey are gods.
- peteyb1313, on 03/16/2009, -0/+17to Disney land?
- leif777, on 03/16/2009, -2/+19That doesn't sound anything like The Watchmen.
- kd420, on 03/16/2009, -3/+20"The Watchmen" *OCD cringe*
- CaptCarrot, on 03/16/2009, -1/+12That you've gone 1 hour and 8 minutes without having been awarded a Golden Internets for the above comment is sheer travesty.
- rwbrinso, on 03/16/2009, -1/+12Professor Chaos has a silver wiener.
- painting, on 03/16/2009, -4/+14southpark pretty much writes itself doesn't it.
- cmt5061, on 03/16/2009, -3/+13Who's penis are we gonna see?
- Babnert, on 03/16/2009, -3/+12Kenny's Journal. October 12th, 2009. No one is able to understand me when I speak. I eat poptarts for dinner. Why Do I Always Die? Must remember to investigate further.
- robweber, on 03/16/2009, -2/+11I agree, in the comments on the article several people have posted that as well. It sounds more like 'Batman' or really any other super hero type of story.
The author (matt tobey) also sounds like an ***** for mentioning that he has never seen the Watchmen and then goes on to make blue penis jokes. He reminds me of the high school kids in the theater when I watched it that couldn't stop laughing every time Dr. Manhattan was on screen. While the South park episode sounds awesome, Matt Tobey is pretty much a douche. - tconnect80, on 03/16/2009, -1/+9Dear God, please let "The Coon" be Token
- MyNameIsGusto, on 03/17/2009, -0/+7Extremely racist in the US as well.
- Babnert, on 03/16/2009, -0/+6I cant read that not in butters voice.
- evilhomestereo, on 03/16/2009, -0/+6I know, really! It's just "Watchmen".
- HisTumness, on 03/16/2009, -1/+6Hey Farva, what's the name of that movie you like with all the goofy out of place soundtrack music and the blue penis?
- cyrix, on 03/17/2009, -0/+5OGC
- RobotBuddha, on 03/17/2009, -1/+6They're trying to prove that he'd lost his identification with humanity. Clothing in warm climates is a very human, very odd, thing.
- haterofps3, on 03/17/2009, -0/+4You didn't enjoy the comic that is fair
I disagree with you and have buried your comment but you are entitled to your opinion - retrosteve, on 03/16/2009, -1/+5Buried for actually being about a South Park Batman parody.
- DPDish12, on 03/17/2009, -0/+4I almost agree with your entire statement.
I couldn't disagree more with the "Poor Jonas brothers" part.
Matt and Trey let them off easy. - rrife, on 03/19/2009, -0/+4More like Batman than Watchman.
- lintmonkey, on 03/16/2009, -1/+5'The Watchmen"
- inactive, on 03/16/2009, -0/+4Speaking of TDS and plasmas, Stewart needs to spend a few of his Cramer War ad dollars to buy some HD cameras.
- selmer, on 03/16/2009, -0/+3DirecTV has Comedy Central on HD
- Damo69, on 03/17/2009, -0/+3I'm just wondering is Coon a racist term in the USA? I'm Australian and it's a racist term for Australian Aboriginals.
- mmittimm, on 03/16/2009, -2/+5They've always revolved around current events. And if you look through last season only about half had to do with a movie or TV show.
- cyrix, on 03/17/2009, -0/+3Wow...
- VigRoco, on 03/20/2009, -0/+3More like a mash up of Dark Knight and The Spirit.
- RobotBuddha, on 03/17/2009, -0/+3I've beeen generally disapointed with the lack of the good professor in recent seasons.
- Dmilla16, on 03/19/2009, -0/+3Who wrote this blog? He's an idiot.
- inactive, on 03/19/2009, -1/+3Spoilers!
Mysterion = Stan (possibly Kenny?)
Kyle- in same room as mysterion
Craig- monotone nasal voice, doesn't fit mysterion's voice
Clyde- Asleep during Cartman's discussion
Tweak- Has a tick, flinches, mysteion does not
Wendy- Cartman says "I knew it was you, I said" Cartman never directly said Wendy could be mysterion
Kenny- Has a disregard for the law, steals, takes drugs frequently
Pip- English accent, doesn't fit mysterion
Token- Different skin pigment to mysterion
Jimmy- Partially disabled, also a vocal stutter which doesn't fit mysterion
Timmy- Similarly disabled... Also has trouble verbalising words besides Timmy!
Kevin- In a crowd cheering about mysterion
Other kid- Relatively unknown background character
Additional points for Stan are:
Butters says Cartman wouldn't fit mysterion's body type it would be someone like Stan or Kyle and Kyle is not mysterion.
Stan's surname is Marsh, The M on mysterions chest could also tie into this. - gogog0, on 03/20/2009, -0/+2definitely kenny.
kenny doesnt respond when cartman talks to him about the coon at the beginning of the episode
kenny and butters are the only ones listening attentively and not sleeping when cartman is talking in front of the whole class
kenny's face never gets shown except in special situations
kenny's surname is mckormick - drunkenkite, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2You're talking about Watchmen right?
- otbeverly, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2George W. Bush's?
- bjs3171, on 03/16/2009, -0/+2It's honestly the most genuinely mixed review movie i've ever seen. Usually "mixed reviews" means it's mostly panned, but people really do either love it or hate it. More of my friends did really like it, and only a few of them read the book. I've read it, didn't like the movie, and wondered how anyone who hasn't read it could follow anything whatsoever. Guess i was wrong.
- drunkenkite, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2***** it!
That's our word for president!
Hiyoo! - drunkenkite, on 03/17/2009, -0/+2Over here its black people. I was going to try to work in an Obama joke in there but I'm really starting to like the guy.
- MrFreeman, on 03/16/2009, -0/+1Everyone who saw the leprechaun say yeah~!
http://www.southparkstudios.com/clips/220985/ - rrife, on 03/16/2009, -1/+2.....and tomorrow we'll be reading about this again.
