D'oh! - terracottapai, on 07/13/2009, -0/+27They tried that once, but it puts a terrible strain on the animators' wrists.
- chicagojack, on 07/13/2009, -3/+28One of the top 10 TV shows of all time
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -1/+25They should do it live.
- novenator, on 07/13/2009, -1/+22"This looks expensive. Better make the best of it..."
-Homer trapped in 3D world - xsecretfiles, on 07/13/2009, -2/+23*insert obvious "The Simpsons is not good as it used to" comment ..as in everything was better when I was 12*
- ervinTE8, on 07/13/2009, -0/+16***** it.
- Mothh, on 07/13/2009, -0/+15Dammit! I was really hoping it would be on ice.
- geniusNOTatWORK, on 07/13/2009, -1/+15As an avid Simpsons fan, I have to agree on the quick decline in the show's quality over the years. I will disagree though with the recent episodes I have seen, specifically "Smoke on the Daughter" from season 19 and "Gone Maggie Gone," "Coming to Homerica," and "How the Test was Won" from season 20. I agree that these are nothing compared to earlier seasons but they were surprisingly humorous and witty.
- eatrains, on 07/13/2009, -0/+10People think it's cool to hate things.
- kefkaantakrist, on 07/13/2009, -2/+11Did you see the part where he ate until he was sick to his stomach and vomited?
Eat any particular thing to excess and you're going to have adverse effects. - inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+9You know what sucked, there are no more 7-11's in my part of the state so I missed out on the whole real Quik-e-mart marketing blitz.
- lanzemurdok, on 07/13/2009, -4/+11Well, everyone knows that honey mustard is ***** and you are *****.
- Carret, on 07/13/2009, -2/+9Your sarcasm hit the nail on the head. The Simpsons used to be funny because the characters were funny, not because of simple throw-away gags that don't make any sense or fit the characters. Family Guy is funny for what it is, but the Simpsons should not be that way. /rant
- rob132, on 07/13/2009, -0/+7You needed 3 !'s to match the submitters.
- FredFredrickson, on 07/13/2009, -1/+8I never understand why people say The Simpsons sucks. I don't watch very often, and have never been a huge fan of the show, but every time I happen to catch one of the new episodes on TV, it's usually pretty funny.
- nickels, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6Too bad these people don't have polarized screens and projectors in their homes.
/3d nerd - brinkofjon, on 07/13/2009, -0/+6Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic, The Simpsons "3-D on ice" special is neither 3-D nor "on ice", discuss....
- kplo, on 07/13/2009, -11/+17That dude is kind of obnoxious. But I'm still psyched to see this.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5Actually you got it backwards, Homer was funnier when he WAS a complete ***** and choking Bart and yelling all the time, now he is a wimpy idiot who is like "oooh pizza!" and bumbling into trouble. And then its all "oh my relationship with marge is strained but we work it out in the end"
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Sadly, people pronounce "idea" as "ideal" all the time and somebody once tried to argue with me that "ideal" is always right and "idea" is not a word.
I'm not kidding. - alamedaman, on 07/13/2009, -2/+7Simpsons did it
- taketheleap, on 07/13/2009, -0/+5The Simpsons have stamps!?
http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/04/simpsons-stamps-unv ... - geniusNOTatWORK, on 07/13/2009, -1/+5Whoa, whoa, whoa.... why did you have to drag in honey mustard? I ***** love honey mustard.
- sharkd, on 07/13/2009, -0/+4Mmmm, erotic cakes.... {gargle}
- megamod, on 07/13/2009, -1/+4Hideo?
! - jardine64, on 07/13/2009, -2/+5This sounds like it might just be a disguised clip show narrated by Morgan Spurlock.
Having said that, AWESOME title.
Oh, and the guy is a douche, I don't want to see the simpsons in 3D again. That was the most over repeated episode ever. - antdude, on 07/13/2009, -0/+3Older episodes are funnier.
- inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2Did anybody notice this at the end?
"Great episode ideal, funny title, clumsy PR."
*cringe* Doesn't this person know that idea and ideal are two different words? - Roofbacon, on 07/20/2009, -0/+2I have always wanted to put Spurlock on ice
- Digglet69, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2What was that
ohh its just a box - inactive, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3You're wrong. It hit a rough spell no doubt, but the last two seasons have been genuinely funny. It's never going to be Seasons 4-7 again, but what it is is loads funnier than Two and A Half Men, or some of the other excrement out there.

Ehhhh that's the closest I can remember - minnecrapolis, on 07/13/2009, -1/+3Not only is Morgan Spurlock annoying but also the article:
"The release announced "The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special in 3-D on Ice," went on for awhile with quotes and stuff..."
Who wrote this? Sounds like a 14 year old. - falconear, on 07/15/2009, -0/+21. The Simpsons is still funnier and more creatively satiric than 90% of the shows out there today, including Family Guy and South Park.
2. Yes, the show hit its' peak between seasons 4-8, although there have been gems ever since. My all time favorite is still "Tomacco" "A glove slap in the little face will...get you satisfaction! Sir, that is an outrage!" What, that was season 11?
3. Wouldn't it be great to force feed Morgan Spurlock Double Qtr Pounders until his stomach exploded? - yearofglad, on 07/13/2009, -4/+6It's like people don't realize that by even begrudgingly supporting something that truly sucks today but USED to be good (or even just decent), they allow it to continue in its current state of awfulness.
See: The Simpsons, Star Wars, Mike Judge, etc etc. - MikeEric, on 07/13/2009, -4/+6Riiiiight...
Because we need to make room for more reality TV?
/sarcasm
/reality TV hatred - inactive, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2Still anchors the Sunday Lineup quite nicely. Wiothout it, none of hte other shows would exist.
- DJRobX, on 07/13/2009, -0/+2All this nostalgia is making me a little verklempt.
- MasterGrief, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1More than kind of
- inactive, on 07/19/2009, -0/+1Another note:
Please be aware that the network that brings you The Simpsons is the same company that brings you Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly.
I loved the show for years, but stopped watching about a year ago when I really considered what company I was supporting.
http://www.foxnewsboycott.com - darkism, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1No reason to drag out another fad gimmick.
- Yellowspaceman, on 07/13/2009, -0/+1don't forget about the 138th episode spectacular hosted by Troy McClure
- madcaps1980, on 07/14/2009, -0/+1I bought some for myself!
