- MikeL123, on 10/10/2007, -24/+262Tarantino's power is that he can become a giant ass... unfortunately, he still doesn't have full control over his power, so it comes and goes randomly. I heard Sylar is going after him next...
- Error601, on 10/10/2007, -55/+232I'd have the same question. If it wasn't for the occasional article on the Internet, I wouldn't even know it was a show.
- StrangeFamous, on 10/16/2007, -93/+210Who the f*** is Quentin Tarantino?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -68/+154Dugg for Tarantino. Seriously, I like heroes, but choosing Heroes over Tarantino? No way.
- Seph7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+55Imagine how many of the cast would be brutally murdered in that 1 episode
- Rikushix, on 10/10/2007, -24/+65He makes great movies, has a pretty ***** personality. I mean, what do you expect for a guy that got his directorial career rolling by lying about what films he directed?
- fino35, on 10/10/2007, -0/+39Source requested.
- DDDavinnn, on 10/10/2007, -22/+57Tarantino never fails to make me laugh.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32More over rated then American Idol?
- halavais, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33WTF is wrong with that?
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+34like posting on digg.
- synaesthesia, on 10/10/2007, -2/+29Probably.
- TaLoNxNL, on 10/10/2007, -7/+34Those who make TV don't have time to watch it.
- bajesus, on 10/10/2007, -9/+35The only reason for the praise it gets is that there is such a drought of good scripted work on the major networks that it looks better than it is. CSI Miami can make anything look good.
- oldhick, on 10/10/2007, -10/+33I don't know... I haven't been thrilled with Tarantino in a while... I think he is clearly talented and capable of making some decent movies, I'm just waiting for him to go back and do it. The last few haven't really lived up to expectations.
- eth3l, on 10/10/2007, -9/+32The author seems to assume that QT s supposed to know what Heroes is; then when whe doesnt he ridicules him for it.
bured as lame. - loganhid, on 10/10/2007, -51/+73Heroes: Most over-rated show ever
- b3owulf, on 10/10/2007, -6/+26Kill Bill
- hairyjona, on 10/10/2007, -25/+44I have a friend that met him in Austin at the bar that some of Grindhouse was filmed at (which is an awesome bar, the Texas Chili Parlor), and he said he was quite nice. Tarantino has talent... and the fact that he isn't wasting his time on a stupid "popular" TV show doesn't make him a dick. He's got much better things to do. Heroes sucks.
- raynar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17There can be only one.
- smokeyphikap420, on 10/10/2007, -6/+21I'd have the same answer as well...I really don't care what great show the media says I should watch this season, I got better ***** to do...
- seeeymour, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Why do you have to choose?
- ScottAG, on 10/10/2007, -4/+18What's up with this Digg post having about as much content as the blog it links to which itself has as much content as the original Sun article. Sad state of the Web.
- PaperMonkey, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17I run into the same problem whenever I voice my feelings about the Tragically Hip. They have a few decent songs but they are far from the be all and end all of Canadian music. Try telling that to Canadians though.. It's like I just took a Canadian flag, wrapped it around a hockey stick, dunked it all into a pot of Tim Horton's coffee and then pissed all over the whole thing.
Tarantino does have some talent and he does make some interesting films but he needs to lose a bit of his pretensions (like the cameo thing.... Hitchcock did that because it was his thing and he earned it..). Whatever, it's a question of taste and my taste is different from everyone else. If he relaxed a little more and played the relaxed, mellow film school grad instead of the ADHD film school grad I'm sure he would be a little better received. - l33tsauce, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17I agree, not everybody watches TV, even if the do there are 1000000 other things out there to watch. Why is it so surprising that Quentin don't know about Heroes.
- Septuris, on 10/10/2007, -27/+41While I don't like Tarantino at all, and only like a couple of his movies; I don't even begin to understand where all the love for Heroes comes from. What I've watched has been nothing but nonsense, garbage, and nonsensical garbage.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16If nobody is getting their head blown off, QT won't watch it!
- Sornos, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15Also, a drought of decent Scifi shows....
- userspacename, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13"Imagine how many of the cast would be brutally murdered in that 1 episode"
Hey, good reason for him to do it! - PleaseBeSerious, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I agree.
- l33tsauce, on 10/10/2007, -5/+15I'm sorry there are 1000000 things on TV right now, why would it be so surprising that Quentin don't know what Heroes is. Heck a lot of people don't even watch that much TV or at all.
- Vermifax, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12I'm still mourning "Firefly".
That show was way too good for TV. - norman619, on 10/10/2007, -6/+16Personally I think he's over rated. This last batch of movies were stinkers to me.
- flaminio, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10The dude is a film guy, not a pop-culture nut like Kevin Smith. Nothing wrong with that. If it was on the big screen, or been on for years, he'd probably know everything about it. Hell, I rarely watch the first season of new shows. Most don't make it base mid-season break anyway.
- g30ph, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10It's going to hell.
Download a tv show that originally aired in the 90's, and you get about 48 minutes. Download any recent one hour tv show, and you get 41:30. Eventually you will have 55 minutes of commercials per hour, and the tv execs will blame piracy when no one is watching anymore. - Sundyr, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11Um, he didn't direct Sin City, only produced it. Similarly, he didn't direct From Dusk til Dawn either, only co-wrote it (and had nothing to do with any of the sequels either). Actually Robert Rodriguez directed both of them, so love/hate him, not Tarantino ;)
Tarantino hasn't done too many, Pulp Fiction Jackie Brown, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill - ripple123, on 10/10/2007, -16/+25I think ill take kill bill over heros any day of the week.
- TheCount, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Well when you put it that way... I kind of want to see him direct an episode, they'd probably have to write the whole thing off as a dream sequence or alternate future after Tarantino decimated the cast.
- tehtopher, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9That, and shows like Battlestar Galactica are "too sci-fi" for NBC to run it during prime time.
- norman619, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Not really. Cable/Sat may have 100's of channels available but very little of it is actually worth watching.
- EntropyGun, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Have you ever heard Tarantino speak uncensored? The three words you're most likely to hear are "awright", "*****/*****", and "Bronson"
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+10for ***** sakes, he is entitled to his opinion get the ***** over it. Why dont you and all other heroes fans have a big group hug and cry on each others man bossoms.
- Frei, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8So a director didn't know (or pretended not to) a particular TV show and you're mad about it? Weird. In related news, Clint Eastwood said, "wtf is survivorman?"
- smoothmedia, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9All that i know about Heroes is that a hot girl named "Hayden Panettiere" plays some sort of immortal cheerleader in the show. Despite this, I still haven't watched.
- replikhant, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Tarantino would be doing us a favor.
- Listor, on 10/10/2007, -6/+12If only he had used that power to not make death proof.......sigh............
- chockZ, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8You people take your TV shows WAY too seriously. ***** get up and do something.
- Asianwaste, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8BSG sorta went down the ***** since after the beginning of season 3.
- gopher043, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7As much as I like BSG, I have to admit it went down the tubes for me right after the New Caprica episodes when they found that planet that could sustain life.
