- schleppo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+60I see what you did there.
- deleted23, on 10/12/2007, -3/+60I like it, but it's a little odd showing a live action show on Cartoon Network... it's almost like having reality tv shows on Music Television.
- wild, on 10/12/2007, -6/+46I wonder how much they gave Kevin Rose for the rights to create a TV show about Digg?
- MrSketch, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28I guess the tubes were too small.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26What kind of a person doesn't tell his friends that something he did for fun is being turned into a live-action show on a major television network?
Methinks he doesn't really consider you his friend... - chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20Don't click "show comment". If you do, you can't say I didn't warn you.
- str3ama, on 10/12/2007, -7/+20leave it to Adult Swim to come up with the most random ideas ever.
- combustion8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Dont stop... believin... hold on to that feeeeeeeelin!!!!
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -2/+13Is this show about me?
- daRoach, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14@str3ama
"Gemberling" was not Adult Swim's idea. - catfish182, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I am not stuck in the internet and im not fat its a gland problem.
- msgyrd, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14Is it going to be yet another show that's only funny if you're completely baked? I respect Adult Swim for putting some strange things on TV, but things like Tom Goes to the Mayor, Saul of the Molemen, The Tim and Eric Totally Awesome Show, etc are just crap. If you *have* to toke up to find it funny, it's not worthwhile.
- combustion8, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I hope you mean spoof.
- TheWriteGuy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7It's funnier than Saul, trust me. I have been very disappointed with Saul of the Molemen.
- spence3eb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7This is from Channel 102...if you find this funny I'd recommend checking out Channel101.com or Channel102.net for more completely ridiculous/hilarious short form videos. I went to one of the shows they hosted in LA last year and had a blast.
- spencewah, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Your sarcasm is weak.
- VeganBob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@chicken101
I couldn't help it, since you said that. - TheKingInYellow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5i was lucky enough to catch this on channel102 before they took it off due to being bought by adult swim. really funny and clever idea. let's hope they don't screw it up.
- jdawg19, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wow, that was cheesetasticly awesome!
- oldJimSteele, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9This show looks stupid.
- TheWriteGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Search "Gemberling" on YouTube to see the original episodes. If you like the sense of humor of comedy series like "Strangers with Candy," "Get A Life," the pilot for "HEAT Vision and Jack," "Andy Barker P.I." or the Britcom "Darkplace," you will probably love "Gemberling"/"Fat Guy Stuck In The Internet."
It is A LOT more funnier than "Saul of the Molemen," which (for me at least) turned out to be a huge disappointment. - dtfinch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I have an exercise bike next to my computer desk, which I try to ride on the rare occasions that I get up from my computer. 260lbs, down from 285 a few months ago.
- rationalist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Well, if "thewriteguy" thinks it is "A LOT more funnier", then we are truly losted.
- lucasgreen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3the bad guy is, in fact, mc chris
i don't know if gemberling (his real name) is actually the guy on his album skits though - jonesin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Absolutely. Those sites consistently have some of the best and funniest content around. They recently got signed up by VH1 to produce content for them too, called Acceptable.TV, though it's not as good as channel101
- Zopwx2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is actually kind of funny, but call me immature but it won't be quite as funny if Aswim gets rid of all the gratutious curse words.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Oh man thats GREAT!
- danmcinerney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Gemberling (the fat guy) is the guy in the MC Chris skits. He's a performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater here in New York.
- TheKingInYellow, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5KAZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
gemberling roolz! - Robotsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2A few people there of unknown credibility at IMDB have claimed that Adult Swim picked up Korgoth. One user says: "There should be more episodes, because Adult Swim picked it up as a series. And at Comic Con '06 the show has been scheduled for release sometime in Spring '07."
*shrugs and hopes it to be true* - fino35, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What happened to KORGOTH?
- DKSINC, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Wow, its like Tron except the chick is not as hot, the main character is a fat ass that swears, and the graphics are worse. God damn Adult Swim just make new episodes of Aqua Teen and stop putting all your ugly writers on TV.
- guitaristanyc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sheesh - don't be so negative about this show, folks, until you've at least seen it - I have and Fat Guy Stuck In Internet rocks!! .
- bytor4232, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hey! Steve Perry is Rob Corddry! He was on The Winner and a correspondent on The Daily Show.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Gemberling rocks my ass!!!!!!
- sterntastic223, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Still up
- Antitheft, on 10/12/2007, -9/+10I didn't like this show the first time...when it was called Saul of the Molemen.
- bigboidaily, on 06/03/2008, -0/+1i cant belive im finally on tv ;0
- TheWriteGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1STEVE PERRY:
See that CYBER-BOARD over there? If we can get to that, we're home free.
GEMBERLING:
What's a "cyber-board"?
STEVE PERRY:
It's a surfboard.
:^D - xTRUMANx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sequential, not random access. Didn't even get your warning till it was too late...
- lucasgreen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Damn it, now they're going to get taken off of youtube.
Oh well, I still have them on my hard drive. If anyone notices that they get removed let me know and i'll put them somewhere else. I'm too lazy to do it right now.
Damn, I'm too lazy to upload something? I'm too lazy to click a mouse and hit some buttons? - winterorange, on 07/16/2008, -0/+1Is Gemberling the guy who does the skits with mc chris on his albums? That voice sounds awfully familiar. This show is pure gold. Tron + Star Wars + Adult Swim.
- coogerdark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The people freaking out about this show, realize the video being linked to is from the original internet series and not from the actual Cartoon Network show right?
The original was written, shot, directed, and composited by some improv comedy dudes with little to no technical background who just wanted to do a show. Some people may not like the original, but what ends up on Adult Swim is going to look significantly different from the original,. From what I can tell no one on this thread has seen it. You might want to wait to see the actual Adult Swim version before laying into it. - Castronaut, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Pretty soon Adult Swim will have no sharks left to jump. This crap looks terrible.
- KayMan2k, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Holy *****! I went to college with that guy!
Go Neil. Woo hooo! - iamscottevil, on 06/05/2008, -0/+0They're down. Can somebody post a torrent on piratebay or something? I want to see this show.
- phredgreen, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2has anyone else noticed that the bad guy looks like mc chris and the gemberling fella sounds alot like the guy always playing the record exec on mc chris's skits?
just sayin... - Nocturnalsgfx, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'd like to know why they air some of the other shows. Tim and Eric is retarded. Assy Mcgee?? wtf? Saul of the molemen?? again wtf?
Also, why can't they move that anime crap to another time, like when there's NO ONE WATCHING. - msgyrd, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4I don't watch the OC...or really much TV at all. But since you're obviously all defensive about it...please explain what you enjoy about the shows. Really, any explanation of their humor would be great. Funny faces and stupid costumes don't make up for having absolutely no story or plot each episode. I make funny faces and act goofy for infants and toddlers. I would expect more from a show targeted at "adults".
