- TheVirus, on 10/29/2009, -1/+85How about some new shows that aren't carbon copies of ***** we already have? No more cop shows, no more medical shows, no more court room shows. Give us something new and we'll watch it.
- Bloodwine, on 10/29/2009, -2/+85I could go for another show about space cowboys, though
- cfdmedic, on 10/29/2009, -1/+52As a medic...NBC's Trauma is stupid.
- ryansmith18, on 10/29/2009, -1/+50As an IT professional, I have the same problem with "24," and most other shows that rape basic technology.
- Clodhopper, on 10/29/2009, -0/+45***** NBC. I learnt my lesson a couple years ago when I got into this show on NBC called Journeyman than the ***** canceled it right away.
- ugacrew, on 10/29/2009, -1/+43Oh NBC....trying to reach for the glory days when 'ER' was king....it ain't going to happen NBC.....sorry.
- MattB123, on 10/29/2009, -0/+39How many damn hospital/er/ambulance shows do we need? I'm hoping this trend has now run it's course.
- kashk5, on 10/29/2009, -1/+39I watch House just for Hugh Laurie. They could get rid of everything in the show and just sit Hugh Laurie in a room with some people for him to bitch at and I would watch it religiously every week.
- theSuperman, on 10/29/2009, -0/+32Every time I saw a commercial for Trauma, I would shudder and think it was the most stupid show ever created. Every episode had explosions. I have never seen an explosion during my time as an EMT. 90% of the calls were for geriatric patients having difficulty breathing. I guess that wouldn't make an exciting show though.
- TheObviousChild, on 10/29/2009, -1/+30Enhance.
- RealmDown, on 10/29/2009, -0/+28I'm tired of getting involved in shows just to have them disappear. If their (networks) goal is to introduce so much apathy in their audience that no one cares about watching anything, then they are succeeding in a big way.
- TobiasParker, on 10/29/2009, -2/+30Yea what about some sort of futuristic western about a universe where the United States and China fled Earth to found colonies in a new star system.
- MikeMania, on 10/29/2009, -3/+30I watched this and wasn't impressed. However, why the hell did they cancel Southland!!?? I heard they even finished production.
- Ddraig, on 10/29/2009, -3/+30More Sci-Fi please.
- jerrolds, on 10/29/2009, -3/+2930Rock is the only thing i watch on NBC nowadays. I miss Cheers and Night Court :P
- socivitus, on 10/29/2009, -2/+27THEY CANCELLED THAT?! That was NBC's one good show.
On topic, ***** medical dramas. I miss the days when Scrubs was funny... - snafflepaffle, on 10/29/2009, -0/+24I have friends who are emt's and they said it was so stupid and so far removed from anything resembling reality that they couldn't watch it, even for laughs. I think that comes through even for the non medically trained.
- wolfing, on 10/29/2009, -1/+25I would like a show about a wealthy family who lost everything, and the one son who had no choice but to keep them all together
- grimsb, on 10/29/2009, -0/+21I heard they canceled Southland because the execs decided it was "too dark" for a 9pm time slot, and all of the 10pm slots belong to Leno now. Ugh.
- friday04, on 10/29/2009, -1/+22I can't tell you how happy this makes me. Every movie I saw this summer had ads before the movie started and the most annoying was the ad for Trauma where the actors all talked about how awesome their character was and how great the show was. It looked awful. Not to mention it pissed me off that I had just paid more for a movie ticket than ever before and was also watching ads.
- fissionignition, on 10/29/2009, -0/+21Such an arresting concept. I'd certainly follow, were there any such development.
- Danial, on 10/29/2009, -0/+20Third Watch was better.
- sajuuk, on 10/29/2009, -0/+20I hope you mean more GOOD SciFi
- werdywerd, on 10/29/2009, -0/+19Maybe if the Helicopter wouldn't respond to every BS job in the show, more people would like it.
- gweedo767, on 10/29/2009, -0/+18BUT SHE FELL OFF HER BIKE!!!!
- CourageWulf, on 10/29/2009, -1/+19Glad I didn't record it after all.
- UselessTrivia, on 10/29/2009, -2/+19Community is awesome. Parks is horrible. Never watched trauma.
- oriondr, on 10/29/2009, -0/+16I guess nobody wanted another friggin medical drama.
- Otto, on 10/29/2009, -0/+15House is actually a good show because it took the medical drama in a different direction, with interesting characters and storylines. True, it was formulaic for the first season and parts of the second. They've switched it up quite a bit recently though.
- rwiggum, on 10/29/2009, -0/+15"But I LOVED my JOB."
- chrysrobyn, on 10/29/2009, -4/+19Maybe NBC will get Chuck back before March then.
Or Bloodwine's idea about space cowboys. Maybe both! - hascat, on 10/29/2009, -0/+14Right on. House isn't about medicine, it's about personalities.
- flusteredpants, on 10/29/2009, -0/+14I'll raise you with "News Radio"
- bobburn1, on 10/29/2009, -5/+19Trauma was horrible, Community is tolerable and Parks is awesome.
- fadetoone, on 10/29/2009, -0/+14Chuck is now coming back in January, so I hear. Sounds like it will fit back in place on Mondays.
As of yesterday they extended the 13 episode order to 19. - zip000, on 10/29/2009, -3/+16Try Community, it is funny as hell occasionally.
- dagamer34, on 10/29/2009, -0/+13And they were gonna cancel Chuck. Pfft.
At least we know whoever decided to keep Chuck around isn't a total idiot. - gweedo767, on 10/29/2009, -5/+18I agree about Trauma and Parks & Rec...but I enjoy Community :)
- uncoveror, on 10/29/2009, -0/+13It will be replaced by a cheap to produce reality show.
- mlvassallo, on 10/29/2009, -2/+15Good, the show sucked. Stay away from Medical dramas just so you can show off GE medical equipment. NBC has some of the best comedies and Chuck.
Bring Chuck back faster. Also, bring Life back. Damien Lewis was fantastic. - Taiyoryu, on 10/29/2009, -0/+13I'd prefer if they brought back the same show about space cowboys.
- madcaps1980, on 10/29/2009, -13/+25Best show on NBC is The Office, period.
- TheObviousChild, on 10/29/2009, -0/+12Leno sucks....and apparently his ratings suck too. Send him packing and bring back Southland.
Oh yeah....and they can get rid of all medical dramas too and I'd be more than fine with it. - ziplizard, on 10/29/2009, -2/+14Bring back Chuck sooner! March is too long to wait.
- FearlessFreep, on 10/29/2009, -0/+12Was that why the helicopter crash in the ads was all about. Somebody in an office had a splinter and a few doors down was a bloody nose and the two helicopters responding got in the way?
- FXNGLAS, on 10/29/2009, -1/+12There are too many hospital shows anyway... Besides, we all know Doogie Howser was O.G.
- Scottie83, on 10/29/2009, -0/+11I just blue myself.
- phyx726, on 10/29/2009, -3/+14Ok fine, how about shows about vampires?
- TheObviousChild, on 10/29/2009, -0/+10Journeyman was actually pretty good. I was pissed when that was canceled.
- sefert, on 10/29/2009, -1/+11As an EMT THANK GOD.
