Mr. Eko wants to stage his comeback on "Lost"

hollywoodinsider.ew.com — Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, aka former tailie Mr. Eko, has a message for Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: “Fans of Eko should have hope.” Though Akinnuoye-Agbaje was the first castaway to vote himself off the island in season three, the British actor hopes to make a comeback in the drama’s future.

  • prime9891, on 08/16/2009, -1/+18Mr. Eko was a great character that had some of my favorite flashbacks. It's a shame his parents died and he had to leave the show. Hopefully they will find some way to bring him back alongside the other "dead" characters who are returning to the show next season.

  • boombye, on 08/16/2009, -0/+15Someone buried your comment, but I would like to clarify for them, that there's an inside joke among Lost fans that goes as far back as Season 1 or 2 in which they joked about not wanting to be on TV forever before they ended up with a Season 7, in which case if they were forced to by the network they would just make it about Zombies..This is why in Season 3 they lobbied and negotiated with ABC to have the series end with 48 episodes after Season 3. They decided to split those 48 episodes into 3 seasons spanning 3 years, with 16 episodes each. Season 4 had a writer's strike occur so they only did 14, but promised to make up for those 2 LOST hours. So they gave 1 lost episode to Season 5 making it 17, and are granting the last missing hour to Season 6, bringing that also up to 17. So when you see an article about Season 6 gaining an extra hour, it's not, it's just getting one that was missing from a previous season.

He had been cheating death for about half the season and thought this was part of how he saved everyone. Logically, yes, he probably could have saved himself but he was not operating on logic at this point.
