- FirstCuts, on 05/06/2009, -10/+74Of all the people from The Office, I'm not sure she's the one I would've pegged as getting this sort of deal. Not that she isn't funny, but I always figured it'd be Rainn Wilson.
- mrfreeziexp, on 05/06/2009, -3/+56What?! Why her? They should have given it to Creed. If they made a show just about Creed, I'd watch every episode.
- webgeek2point0, on 05/06/2009, -2/+48True, but she's also a writer not just an actor, so that helps. Although I'd like to see a spin-off with Creed as the main character but set it in the 70s when he was in a band and a radio DJ.
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -11/+46I don't find her particularly funny.
- Kotoyumu, on 05/06/2009, -0/+35A Creed Spin off series wouldn't last, the great thing about Creed on the office is the short random moments involving him.
- FirstCuts, on 05/06/2009, -1/+34Who knew Ryan The Temp was on Digg?
- tiberone, on 05/06/2009, -1/+27Maybe this means they've given up on Parks and Recreation already
- pegothejerk, on 05/06/2009, -2/+26good writers know when to make other people more funny for job security's sake.
- tidu, on 05/06/2009, -1/+22Parks and Recreation is The Office 2, starring a female Michael Scott. I can understand writers copying other writers, but writers copying themselves? :/
- leesw, on 05/06/2009, -6/+27I love the office.
- presidentraygun, on 05/06/2009, -3/+23Is this the line to admit to unrequited Mindy Kaling lust?
- clickmyface, on 05/06/2009, -0/+19according to IMDB shes written 16 episodes of The Office and produced 45. Surprising!
- fluidfoundation, on 05/06/2009, -0/+17FIREGUY!

- fluidfoundation, on 05/06/2009, -3/+18I guess you didn't see The Rocker.
- painting, on 05/06/2009, -0/+14The article isn't about who you would want to molest.
- petebot, on 05/06/2009, -0/+12A. I'm amazed at how many people don't even read the description of the article.
B. I like a little junk in the trunk. - RSS14, on 05/06/2009, -0/+12She wrote the Goldren Ticket episode for The Office. She does have writing talent, lets see how far she can take it.
- tidu, on 05/06/2009, -1/+13like the chance we gave Parks and Rec?
- tdogg241, on 05/06/2009, -0/+11You might not find her character funny, but the fact is she's written a lot of the show's best episodes.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindy_Kaling - GoKings, on 05/06/2009, -11/+21This will fail miserably
- chockster, on 05/06/2009, -0/+9Good grief. She's a writer, guys. So stop it with the "I hate her character", "she's not funny" crap. She IS funny because she's written some of the best Office episodes. She just doesn't write them in a way that gives her character the limelight.
- GeyserShitdick, on 05/06/2009, -0/+9That doesn't make any sense - how could both of his parents have been women?
- dcipjr, on 05/07/2009, -0/+8I don't know about that. Creed is like a fine, expensive spice. They use him sparingly, and to great effect. Part of his awesomeness lies in that he isn't the star of every episode -- too much of a good thing would ruin it.
- cor315, on 05/06/2009, -0/+7Rather I'd like to see a webshow with Creed. Just short clips
- publiclurker, on 05/06/2009, -0/+7Ever seen one of the CSI shows?
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -3/+10Sadly she's one of my least favorite characters. Though I'd expect NBC to pay 7 figures for future crap to go along with their current crap.
- fluidfoundation, on 05/06/2009, -0/+6While I respect your own personal tastes... you should probably take that as a sign. Just saying.
- cliffzdude, on 05/06/2009, -0/+6So you'd like Hollywood to reboot WKRP in Cincinnati.
- dandd20006, on 05/06/2009, -0/+6Does anyone else think Amy Poehler watched the Office a whole lot and just decided to do a Michael Scott impersonation on her show?
Every time I watch the show I'm just thinking "wow, she is trying so hard to be Michael Scott, but it just isn't working." - Wreckage, on 05/06/2009, -3/+9Am I the only one who prefers Jenna Fischer?
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -0/+6exactly.. all these people are like, "durrr she's not funny."
well, that's her character. i said it above - check out the episodes that she's written - they're all really funny. - pensivewombat, on 05/06/2009, -0/+5She's written some of the best episodes of The Office including the almost unbearably dark dinner part episode. I didn't care for that one as much as some people but at the very least you have to admit she was taking some serious risks and delivered an episode unlike anything in Americam tv comedy. It's not like they're just throwing a show at her for no reason.
- brownsound00, on 05/07/2009, -0/+5For those of you who don't know. Creed is his real name (well, he changed it from Will, but still). But the character he plays on the office isn't a character. It is him.
He has a bitchin' website.
http://creedbratton.com/ - painting, on 05/06/2009, -0/+5that's the point of her character. No one is suppose to like Angela either.
- itsthehumidity, on 05/06/2009, -2/+7These comments indicate how good her acting is, in my opinion. She's a lot smarter than her character, who isn't really supposed to be "funny," but annoying.
- Laminarcissus, on 05/07/2009, -1/+6This deal is bananas!
B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!!
This deal is bananas!
B-A-N-A-N-A-S!!! - jturbo, on 05/06/2009, -7/+12She is one of my least favorite characters on the office.
- Bloodwine, on 05/06/2009, -0/+5Tony Shalhoub as Monk. His parents were Lebanese.
- bossgalaga, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4Good for her. She's written some of the best Office episode in recent memory.
- anstice85, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4Ryan is by far the worst, mostly because he's on the cover of every Office DVD for some reason. Is he really that major of a character to be there with Michael, Dwight, Pam and Jim?
- cliffzdude, on 05/06/2009, -2/+6She must be a much more important figure in the writing staff than I ever imagined. Because they could leave her off the show, and I don't really think I'd notice.
- anstice85, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4She wrote "Ben Franklin" which was just about the funniest episode ever, so she must be a pretty good writer.
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -0/+4no , you werent here for that....
- inactive, on 05/06/2009, -2/+6Seriously - none of you people get it, do you?
Her character on the Office is supposed to be obnoxious. Sure, Dwight might be funnier, but Mindy is a writer. Check the episodes that she's written - most of the them are some of the better ones. - mta3d, on 05/07/2009, -0/+4"she's OK if you like a bit of junk in the tr...
Yeah, she's nice"
