- EvilJelloMan, on 11/09/2008, -21/+342Except she's not. She flails on questions that anybody who graduated high school should be able to answer.
I'm quite confident that a significant percentage of the digg audience is more highly educated than Palin. I'd further bet that a huge percentage has a higher IQ than her, not that IQ is a terribly useful metric, but I guarantee hers isn't very high. - stealth658, on 11/09/2008, -14/+303Did you even watch the video?
- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -21/+267Barack Obama is so dumb he went to Harvard Law School!

- SwankRock3000, on 11/09/2008, -6/+176The soy milk line had me on the floor.
Wyatt Cenac is such a great addition to the (best *****) news team over at the Daily Show. - blackinthmiddle, on 11/09/2008, -12/+137Lol, oh, I get it. Barack is so dumb that...that...yeah, work on that one!
"Sarah Palin is probably a lot smarter than the majority of people on here..."
Well for me I have a degree in mechanical engineering and at one point used to make test equipment for airplanes. Now, I'm just a regular old web developer. I can assure you that I knew all of countries that made up NAFTA (North America is a BIG clue) and I can name every single country in Africa. Why did I find it worth my time to know every country in Africa? It's called "intellectual curiosity". And while some of the smartest people I've met didn't even have their bachelors, they had/have intellectual curiosity in spades. I would find it *real hard* to come up with a reason why someone would not know something as basic as Africa being a continent. - Dralha, on 11/09/2008, -12/+120"Sarah Palin is probably a lot smarter than the majority of people on here..."
I find that highly unlikely. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -19/+124George W Bush is so dumb he went to Harvard Business School!
- MadWhack, on 11/09/2008, -18/+111"In Canada, comedy central videos are available at xxxx"
The link is dead for me.
***** you! - familynight, on 11/09/2008, -2/+81@Charlotte_Web: Seriously, you're saying that Jon Stewart is the one savaging Palin? I thought that the point of the segment was sort of a mockery of how savagely the McCain campaign has thrown her under the bus. I mean anything the Daily Show could have possibly done pales in comparison to that segment on the O'Reilly Factor. The claims from that reporter are extreme, but the Daily Show's jokes are just silly.
Also, it's sort of hilarious that you talk about the unhinged left when these claims are coming from a Fox reporter on the O'Reilly factor using a McCain aide as a source. So, are you saying that clearly we should all believe one conservative source and ignore another, otherwise we're just wacko liberals? - IIAmusedII, on 11/09/2008, -32/+109Sarah Palin is about as smart as most republicans that I know.
- NekoIan, on 11/09/2008, -19/+95Honestly...she's not. She went to five colleges and got 1 degree. As the GOP VP nominee she didn't know that Africa was a continent and couldn't name the countries in NAFTA.
- AndrewDB, on 11/09/2008, -2/+76Sarah Palin is so dumb Todd told her it was chilly out side and she ran and got a bowl.
- Ne007, on 11/09/2008, -4/+62What? How could all this be true when some GOP'ers are calling for her to run in 2012?
That would defy all logic right? - Tooley7, on 11/09/2008, -2/+60Cenak Attack!
- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -8/+64hmmm... well that's not funny at all.
- iguana99, on 11/09/2008, -14/+67Anyone defending Sarah Palin after all that's been discovered about her and how she's performed in interviews reveals only the depth of their own ignorance and/or their very low intellectual standards. I'm surrounded by literally hundreds of people who are more knowledgeable about the world.
Go ahead, Republicans, nominate her in 2012 - it will make our lives easier (and funnier). - preperat, on 11/09/2008, -3/+54I read ALL of 'em
- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -10/+59I just checked my resume, nope I have Palin beat on education. I also have more foreign policy and international affairs experience than she does - you must be speaking for yourself. AND Obama is so dumb... HE WON!
- elipabst, on 11/09/2008, -9/+58"Sarah Palin is probably a lot smarter than the majority of people on here."
How about no, she's not.
And as much as you'd like to pretend she's smarter than Barack, she's not. He taught constitutional law at one of the most prestigious universities in the country. She can't name another supreme court decision she didn't agree with other than Rowe v Wade. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -3/+49I believe their names are Drillbit, Dishrag and Tuningknob.
- triplescoop, on 11/09/2008, -1/+44What's the difference between a bulldog and a hockey mom?

mirror for canadians - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -16/+57I'm more educated and better qualified than she is to be Vice-president of America.
And I'm just a technical translator. - WhiteSquall57, on 11/09/2008, -1/+41He obviously meant to say 47... Palins remarks were not "misspoken" shes just ***** stupid
- inactive, on 11/09/2008, -3/+43He is funny thats why he has his own show ON COMEDY CENTRAL...
- ChileanGoD, on 11/09/2008, -0/+39http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/#clip110243
There ya go my friend. The relevant stuff starts at 3:23min. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -3/+39The Republicans should be ashamed that, during a time with so many world problems, they would support a candidate that was so unqualified for the job. Also stories have been coming out about all of the fighting between McCain/Palin aides. Can you imagine what would have happened if these people were in charge?
- rowjimmy, on 11/09/2008, -3/+35"Just out of curiosity, when was the last time John Stewart really savaged a popular Democrat like this?"
Just because you are 15 and this is the first time in your life you've paid attention to satire doesn't mean that satire didn't exist when Clinton was president... topical satire (like the Daily Show, Weekend Update, all the late night shows, the Onion to some extent, etc) makes fun of *topical* items - just give it a few months and an obama/biden administration will give them plenty to poke fun at. - mikelieman, on 11/09/2008, -1/+33"Palin and her spokesperson have already said the charges aren't true"
Yeah, and Nixon said he wasn't a Crook. He lied too. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -2/+33Yeah, except I worked on 3 continents and have a Phd in mathematics and a masters in philosophy.
You suck dicks for meth. - rameshpreddy, on 11/09/2008, -7/+38Amazing that the McCain team was going to let her become the VP – would they have leaked all this had they won? “Back in the wild” – that is funny! At the end of the day – she was polarizing and could note even be diplomatic enough to keep the aides on track – what would she have done with the professional international diplomats – who would have eaten her for breakfast!
- tomarocco, on 11/09/2008, -3/+33Au contraire. She is being hyped as a 2012 candidate so she's fair game, ad infinitum. That being said, she will likely slip into obscurity in a few months and we will never hear from her again...just like Quayle.
- flashback99, on 11/09/2008, -4/+34You're a ***** retard for thinking palin is smarter than the people on digg.
- KenSPT, on 11/09/2008, -41/+70She lost, move on with your life ...
- mrsteveman1, on 11/09/2008, -0/+28Glad you pointed that out, i was lost
- mikelieman, on 11/09/2008, -1/+28"Has anyone ever attacked her on her policies? "
I think Palin's "policy" of not educating promiscuous teens in using birth control when they chose pre-marital sex over abstinence was thoroughly eviscerated.
I think Palin's "policy" of redistributing the wealth of successful companies those in need has been thoroughly eviscerated.
I think Palin's "policy" of running up 20 Million in debt for a town of less than 10 thousand people has been thoroughly eviscerated.
There's so much guts on the floor here, y'all better watch your step. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -3/+29I think he is funny. Quit your whining. No one is forcing you to watch this (which you probably didnt).
- DaffyDuck, on 11/09/2008, -0/+25"Obama thinks there is 57 states"
Meanwhile, you think "is" should be used in that sentence. - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -13/+37That's pretty good when you consider that he was living on no sleep for almost a year by that time - he was supposed to have said 47 states. It only took another year of no sleep to turn his hair from black to grey.
People like you are actually the reason why Obama won:
http://www.lulu.com/content/4611399 - inactive, on 11/09/2008, -0/+24I'll move on with my life just as soon as the whole thing stops being so damn funny. Before the election, you had the whole buzzkill of knowing that she might actually become the VP. Now that it's over, oh man, it's hysterical.
- trogdor282, on 11/09/2008, -2/+25http://www.theonion.com/content/video/obama_win_ca ...
- staticneuron, on 11/09/2008, -5/+27No, familynight, we all know how this works by now. Logic and intelligence fails for the defenders. Pointing out that this comes form a right wing source will only cause them to put their fingers in their ears and berate wacky liberals loudly.
I understand extreme of anything is horrible but why is it that the extreme right seem to be the ones most detached from facts and reasoning? - Tyrghast, on 11/09/2008, -5/+27Having lived in Japan for four years and visited many Asian and European countries, I have more foreign experience than Palin. I know more about the way the government functions, it's limitations and it's powers than she does because I paid attention in my government class. I can also form my own cohesive thoughts.
The quicker Palin stops being covered by the news, the better. We don't want to hear from or about this quack any longer. - Rekzai, on 11/09/2008, -5/+26Mirror for Canadians?
- po43292, on 11/09/2008, -0/+21Well it actually wasn't even that close of a race at the end.
