- andarnold, on 02/10/2009, -21/+579I ***** hate O'reilly.

- LeepII, on 02/10/2009, -6/+299I noticed O'Reilly whined like a little bitch when he was ambushed at his home.
- PixelPusher74, on 02/10/2009, -12/+264It amazes me that O'reilly is still on the air. Oh wait... Fox (facepalm)
And why is it that ONLY comedians are able to call O'reilly out on his crap? - irfanmp, on 02/10/2009, -12/+235Canadian mirror: http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/the-daily-show-wi ...

There. Hope I didn't spoil it. - Zippo, on 02/10/2009, -4/+143Wow... what an incredible show of pure hypocrisy.
- Infowarsdotcom, on 02/10/2009, -2/+127O'Reilly twists the definition of "the right to privacy" to reference the paparazzi when in reality, the 4th amendment has nothing to do with that.
ANYONE (police, military, civilian, celebrity, etc.) that is in a public place can be filmed. That's more related to the first amendment and freedom of speech than it is to privacy.
The 4th amendment and the "privacy" of which he speaks relates to your personal property being searched by the government. If these people were on their private property, they could call the police and press charges for trespassing, but they're in public.
The mainstream media loves to confuse people about their constitutional rights. The constitution gives us the rights to our private property that we need, and yet O'Reilly proposes passing laws that would prevent people in public places from filming/photographing "certain" people. What happens when those "certain" people are the police and they abuse their power?
The BART officers in the recent shooting ILLEGALLY confiscated and destroyed every "cell phone video" of the incident that they could. Luckily, they couldn't get them all and it's still legal to film people that have the ability to end a life "for justice." - rblancarte, on 02/10/2009, -3/+116No, they see it. They just don't get it
- UselessTrivia, on 02/10/2009, -1/+111Colbert nailed him on "not reporting rumors" a week or so ago too. I think they're trying to bait Bill into responding on air. They might get him, too.
- wgladstone, on 02/10/2009, -7/+113I get it. You know Jon Stewart's real name is Leibowitz. So you know Jon Stewart is Jewish. Good, good. And.....?
Oh, wait. Is that it? That Stewart's satire is not valid because he's a Jew? Why don't you just write that then?
"I, Lifehedge, take issue with the sentiment expressed above because it has been made by a Jew and nothing Jews say can be valid."
That would be a lot clearer. And you need to consider that because you really can't be too subtle with the audience you're trying to appeal to with your comment.
Of course, why am I bothering? I'm a Jew too. I'll see if I can find a nice racially pure person to call you a douchebag. Any takers? - ebolaworld, on 02/10/2009, -1/+100O'Reilly will say that Stewart took him out of context because he didn't show the entire 1 hour show.
- RealmDown, on 02/10/2009, -5/+90O'Reilly needs to shut the ***** up.
Fixed that for you. - xxvtcxx, on 02/10/2009, -6/+85I can't wait to see O'reilly try to defend himself from that!
- mcwattersm, on 02/10/2009, -1/+71Jon Stewart's program is amazing, he can be funny and entertaining but when it comes down to it he knows his *****. I saw a few months back, around the time prop 8 was being voted on and O'Reilly was a guest and Stewart debated with O'Reilly and he backed him into the corner and he didn't know how to come back.
- berroci, on 02/10/2009, -2/+72His home is a neutral place, like Switzerland (but never Sweden).
- superbobd, on 02/10/2009, -2/+70***** Bill O'Reilly
- pintomp3, on 02/10/2009, -1/+58"The U. S. Constitution contains no express right to privacy. The Bill of Rights, however, reflects the concern of James Madison and other framers for protecting specific aspects of privacy, such as the privacy of beliefs (1st Amendment), privacy of the home against demands that it be used to house soldiers (3rd Amendment), privacy of the person and possessions as against unreasonable searches (4th Amendment), and the 5th Amendment's privilege against self-incrimination, which provides protection for the privacy of personal information."

- BoneStamp, on 02/10/2009, -2/+52We are fanboys of humor and truth. O'Reilly is neither funny nor truthful; therefore, we don't like him.
The sheep nature of his loyal viewers used to be funny, but that has become more frightening than funny. - Squid420, on 02/10/2009, -14/+61Fox News just needs to cancel the O'Reilly Factor and replace it with the Lil Bill O'Reilly Factor
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9agKJUqq44 - inactive, on 02/10/2009, -3/+49I ***** love that. You let out just enough so people can figure you're an antisemitic piece of *****, but not so much that you can't ***** cover your tracks because you're too ***** scared to be upfront.
- 11oops, on 02/10/2009, -4/+48Well, thanks for fixing things with your useless whining. I guess you have just restored Digg's glory.
- TomK88, on 02/10/2009, -2/+46Keith Olbermann constantly calls him out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2KU02lsfH8 - Cyberdactyl, on 02/10/2009, -1/+39Watch O'Reilly tonight, you'll most likely see him respond.
I imagine O'Reilly's defense will be the celebrities hounded by paparazzi are going about their daily lives and have NOT instigated controversy AGAINST others.
In contrast to the people Fox News are hounding, are objectively or subjectively slandering, libeling or otherwise passing judgment with their bully pulpit or organization AGAINST others in some way.
I'm not defending Fox News, I'm suggesting this will be the argument. - inactive, on 02/10/2009, -3/+41you should totally kill your friends and get some new ones.
- orion846, on 02/10/2009, -6/+42when i watched this on TV last night i told my gf 'you missed a great bit on papa bear' she said 'damnit' i said 'dont worry, itll be on digg FP by noon tomorrow, just keep an eye out' - missed it by 40 minutes EST :(
- rblancarte, on 02/10/2009, -1/+37Because idiots tune in to listen to his garbage?
Popular != good.
Popular != right.
Popular != fair.
Popular != balanced. - LawScholar, on 06/25/2009, -2/+37Lifehedge,
What you did is known as an enthymeme. It's where you make a statement that leaves a premise in your argument blank. It's the exact same thing Hannity loved to do when he called Obama "Barack HUSSEIN Obama". The reason it's used as a political tactic is that it's very easy to deny, like you did "What, what, all I did was say his name!" The point is not what you said, it is what you implied, and 99% of the time, like with Hannity, the user of an enthymeme is entirely aware of what it implies, as I'm sure you were. You imply that he is "hiding" his Jewish background, though he has made literally hundreds of references to it throughout the show. What you are doing is passive-aggressively displaying political slant and perhaps even an abbreviated anti-semitism, and you're doing it with a nice veneer of plausible deniability. You should work at Fox. - billbugger, on 02/10/2009, -3/+37A lot of people use 'stage names', it's quiet common. In context or out of context, your comment portrays the sentiment that gladstone described which is very ignorant.
- Tyrghast, on 02/10/2009, -2/+35"We do things few other's dare try"
Yes, Papa Bear, I doubt anyone could possibly be as offensive and ignorant in primetime television as you. - TheKarmaPolice, on 02/10/2009, -1/+33time and time again the daily show nails this dope. i hope someone shows o'reilly these clips so he sees how much of a hypocrite he is. i'm sure he'd have some BRILLIANT way to justify himself, though.
- tomg025, on 02/10/2009, -5/+34papabear got pwnd
- psychohog, on 02/10/2009, -2/+31As Snoop dogg would say, "***** Bill O'Reilly".
- malex, on 02/10/2009, -4/+32Olbermann may be partisan, and he has other traits that people may object to, but I can't see anything even resembling the sheer arrogance and hypocrisy shown in this segment.
- deweyhewson, on 02/10/2009, -1/+28"The next time you're caught going through your ex-girlfriend's garbage and the police come to take you away, just tell them Bill O'Reilly sent you."
Classic. - theaceoffire, on 02/10/2009, -3/+30What does your non-***** sister think about him?
- ajUCI, on 02/10/2009, -0/+26whoever is burying you doesn't quite get it...
- inactive, on 02/10/2009, -0/+25Because O'Reilly is only effective when his show is nothing but him ranting into the camera with his spoon-fed Faux News bullet points. When he has a guest who has any semblance of intelligence, Bill invariably talks over him, shouts over him, tells a flat-out lie and doesn't let his guest respond to it, and then when the guest has the temerity to get pissed that he's being railroaded on the air, Bill cuts his mic. He's a bully, and a doltish one at that, with no debating skills and a volcanic temper. Great hero ya got there, 'publicans!
- floridiot2, on 02/10/2009, -3/+27So basically you didn't refute that you're against Jon Stewart because he's Jewish.
- CVL4317, on 02/10/2009, -14/+36Leave O'reilly alone~ After all, where can I get my wholly-sarcastic comedy show from Fox?
- floridiot2, on 02/10/2009, -2/+24Lifehedge: You felt the need to point out his real name. Why? It doesn't matter. The only reason you could have would be to point out that he's Jewish, as if that was somehow a negative on him as a person.
Just like no one really cares that Obama's middle name is Hussein expect the people that want to associate him with an Arab culture. - r0g3r, on 02/10/2009, -1/+23To segue straight from ambushing someone on a bus to complaining about the scum paparazzi is just mind blowing. What really needs to even be said about Bill O'Reilly when he does such a fine job speaking for himself?
- waterboy1628, on 02/10/2009, -5/+27i wish i could digg this one hundred times
- C4Aries, on 02/10/2009, -1/+23I was talking to 2 friends and mentioned how I didnt believe anything Fox News had to say. They were flabbergasted. They thought Fox news was the -only- reliable new source on the planet.
- bannonto, on 02/10/2009, -2/+23Yes, people use stage names because of racist douchebags like you.
