- direw79, on 09/04/2008, -31/+1808Stewart is my HERO!!! I mean honestly that took more research that I have seen from the MSM in months.....
- nsanidy, on 09/04/2008, -16/+1202It's bad when the most honest name in news can only be found on a COMEDY network.
- sullivanst, on 09/04/2008, -26/+967Stewart saved my life last night.
I'd had all I could take of Palin's speech by 11pm, and my head would've exploded without my Daily Show fix. - stinkymonkey, on 09/04/2008, -11/+857Please someone, help me understand why I can only get real news from a comedy channel that broadcasts the ***** gong show.
- jlpete9, on 09/04/2008, -30/+697AWESOME.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -21/+624That video is AWESOME! Thanks for sharing...Such common sense, how can so many folks ignore common sense these days!

- issaccheriyathu, on 09/04/2008, -18/+476Jon Stewart for President!
- MCGEEST, on 09/04/2008, -34/+466Palin the reformer!
Palin is #1 when it comes to pork barrel spending.

Disgracefull, in a time of soaring revenues for Alaska due to high oil prices paid for by Americans she takes your hard earned money twice. And leaves you with a deficit of cartoony proportions.
It sure does make her popular back home though!
But she still managed to leave her town of 6000 people, a $5 million budget and NO debt with a $22 million debt. She fired city employees for not 'supporting her' tried to censor the library and fire the librarian when she did not comply, supported the bridge to nowhere before it became a national joke but still took the earmark money, ran a 527 for Ted Stevens and her husband used to be a member of the Alaska secessionist party which she attended and she is under investigation for the firing of a state trooper for doing his job.
Great reform record! - oo7evan, on 09/04/2008, -26/+451Karl Rove...The AntiChrist
- ubundriva, on 09/04/2008, -15/+439I'm neural when it comes to politics but the hypocrisy that this clip reveals is just hilarious to watch. Way to go, Jon (and the talented crews behind him).
- llibja, on 09/04/2008, -8/+374The Best ***** News Team on the Planet.
- proseandpromise, on 09/04/2008, -9/+342Send this video to CNN over, and over, and over again.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -11/+288This is why I love the Daily Show
- radarbeam, on 09/04/2008, -13/+282If I could digg this twice I would!
- arch3r, on 09/04/2008, -10/+278That took more research than the McCain campaign did while vetting Palin.
- wrmjr, on 09/04/2008, -10/+275If only every media channel had someone like him exposing this crap.
- froston, on 09/04/2008, -7/+237Best source of news.
Do other countries laugh at us? - coopaloop, on 09/04/2008, -9/+239Karl Rove continues to make a fool of himself.
- kingofinternet, on 09/04/2008, -10/+233that was outstanding.
the daily show has incredible tivoing skills. - esteadee, on 09/04/2008, -13/+224If reporters did their job digging up these clips, not only would we finally have an unbiased, investigative, muckracking, reliable informer in the media.
Reality has a liberal bias. - inactive, on 09/04/2008, -21/+227Great Video
- ngmcs8203, on 09/04/2008, -6/+199I'd like to see all of the McCain jock sniffers refute these clips.
- AwakeningAZ, on 09/04/2008, -8/+180Sigh. The best 'news' outfit isn't a real news outfit. This is the state of American media.
- socalftw, on 09/04/2008, -13/+180PWNED.
Jon Stewart '08 - stinkymonkey, on 09/04/2008, -6/+174My feeling exactly. When I went to put my foot through the TV and feel that I'm the only sane person in America, I turn to John Stewart or Keith Olbermann and they make me feel that I'm not the only one that thinks these people are out of their minds.
- niradg, on 09/04/2008, -1/+161The mainstream media is primarily interested in having a close race; that is what gets them ratings. They are not interested in truth, they are interested in spectacle. Good comedy, on the other hand, is often about truth. When someone makes us laugh, it's often because that person has revealed some deep truth that was not apparent.
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -2/+155Oh, yes.
- kidathinnes, on 09/04/2008, -13/+151The Daily Show is keeping me sane through this week of RNC rhetoric and lies.
- anonymous1986, on 09/04/2008, -4/+136We're all waiting for you to show us some clips. Obama is no saint but the level of hypocrisy shown by those pathetic, money and power hungry turds is on a level that no normal human can reach.
- ToddSchishler, on 09/04/2008, -9/+141This video is so amazing it hurts.
- Kornstalx, on 09/04/2008, -8/+135"She retreats behind the apron strings..."
- MonsterChaOS, on 09/04/2008, -4/+129awww, poor baby.
Can't fight the truth, so throw some insults... - FredFredrickson, on 09/04/2008, -9/+125I watched Jon Stewart take on Gingrich last night, and he tore the guy's promotion to pieces. Gingrich even laughed at the whole thing himself at one point, because they both realized how ridiculous the whole thing is.
- johnnyfoto11, on 09/04/2008, -6/+119One of his best segments ... hot damn he owned them
- blackinthmiddle, on 09/04/2008, -3/+112It's a damn shame that the best political news analysis has to come from a comedy news show. Where's the paid blog...erh...I mean the guys that defend the neocons?
- KidDynamo0, on 09/04/2008, -8/+116how fitting that he is right, per usual.
- KurtK9, on 09/04/2008, -2/+105What I'd like to see is that Rove comparison in an add by Obama. The hypocrisy is astounding. Over the span of the last month Rove's opinion changed from a governor with 3 years experience and former mayor of a town of 200,000 being wholly unprepared for the White House to a governor of one of the smallest states for 1.5 years and mayor of a town of 7,000 having "executive experience" that even trumps McCain. Talk about desperate political manipulating.
- vcn3wb05, on 09/04/2008, -4/+105The Daily Show needs to be on basic cable, enabling every household in America to watch the truth. Thank you, Mr. Stewart, not only for making me laugh, but for showing me how it really is.
- richbleak, on 09/04/2008, -9/+110That speech was unbearable. It was childish, petty, and revealing of a laughable mindset. With that said, I'm worried about how it will play with the vast majority of people that are perfectly described by my last sentence.
- Omega697, on 09/04/2008, -8/+99I really wish I could digg this more than once. Epic.
- Taiyoryu, on 09/04/2008, -0/+89dugg for keeping our canadian buddies in the loop
- inactive, on 09/04/2008, -4/+91LOVE the papa bear part. changed his opinion in a matter of months
- tiroger, on 09/04/2008, -3/+88I'm not sure if I should laugh at this clip or cry... Politics in in this country has turned into a sad joke. Where are the real journalists? Where are the real heroes? Where are the real role models? Everywhere I look, all I see are clueless celebrities, clueless motor talking heads. When did smart become elitist, when did popular become celebrity, when did our heroes die out? Sad...
- MonsterChaOS, on 09/04/2008, -7/+91Stewart hit the nail on the head, and he hit it hard.
I'm tired of the right wing getting a pass on their double standards and lies. Way to go Jon! - Krosm, on 09/04/2008, -2/+84Whatever advertising agency Obama and the Dems are using needs to compile these clips into a 30 second spot and just wallpaper all available media outlets. Its one thing for all of us to see this, and have our opinions even further reinforced, but its critical to get stuff like this out there to independents and to wavering Republicans.
But what do I know, I'm just some Canadian, up here, watching all this! - lamejoketeller, on 09/04/2008, -2/+84The best possible presidential candidates are the ones who would never run...
- BXRWXR, on 09/04/2008, -15/+96It just goes to show what lying d-bags those people are.
Sheep? Wake up Republican Right, your party has been stolen from you by charlatans and you let them steal it.
Wake up and think. - withoutteeth, on 09/04/2008, -3/+84What's really sad is that "the most trusted name in fake news" always outdoes their competitors in the "real news" business. AT LEAST once a week, you are guaranteed to see some amazing segment on the Daily Show that required intense research. Are you ever gonna see the news networks do any real research? No, because they thrive on ratings, aka ignorance.
With 3 major 24-hour news networks, The Daily Show should not be able to showcase such hypocrisy. Capitalism dictates that when an anchor on a news network makes such a mistake, another news network should jump on that to increase their legitimacy relative to their competitors. Yet, Jon Stewart is the only one who exposes others for who they really are, and somehow reporters have the audacity to say Jon Stewart is hack who safely hides behind his fake news desk.
***** the liberal media and ***** the conservative pundits, they're all colluding in a conspiracy to suppress intelligence in America. - grobinson, on 09/04/2008, -5/+82The epitome of The Daily Show right there in that clip. The pundits just make it way to easy. Jon is just pointing out with the pundits own words, how they contradict and fall over themselves. And this is probably the pundits are their lowest of lows
