- Corbinwaltz, on 05/04/2009, -5/+72Tune in next week for a new talent filled performer posing as a depressing loser
- GoKings, on 05/05/2009, -7/+58I'm so tired of the shy guy cliche, and it gets all quiet, and then the crowd goes nuts, they show Amanda and she looks like she's about to cry, Simon has that little smile on his face, and Piers is blown away. Then the triumphant music starts, they show those douchebags on the side, and typically the previously shy star is overcome with emotion as they realize everyone liked their voice. Overproduced garbage. The talent should speak for itself.
- shutaro, on 05/04/2009, -2/+31I missed the "away" the first time I read that title...

- upick, on 05/04/2009, -11/+23Another staged performance by Simon? Please I hope he's not another internet sensation like Susan B_______ I can't stand the mention of her name anymore
- plumcider, on 05/04/2009, -2/+14I think it's a setup because, 1) the judges pretend to be shocked, even though the contestants are pre-selected and send in audition tapes, and 2) the most successful parts of the show are 're-created' on America's Got Talent--usually badly--as a very obvious ratings ploy, and 3) if you ever watched an unstaged talent show, you know what kind of mess we'd end up with, and this ain't it.
That said, I still enjoy the show. - commenter01, on 05/05/2009, -0/+10boyle
- ChronicJ, on 05/05/2009, -1/+11I heard you guys were talking about Susan Boyle in here?
- herrstabby, on 05/05/2009, -1/+101. Sing Les Mis on Britain's Got Talent

- Phoenix99, on 05/05/2009, -1/+9Another one...
(Insert Name Here) Blows Judges Away on Britain's Got Talent - glberns, on 05/04/2009, -0/+6Simon has the hots for him. Did you see the wink at 5:40?
- Smegzor, on 05/04/2009, -2/+8Pugh! Pugh!
- naner, on 05/05/2009, -0/+6They might as well call it "Britain's Got Les Mis"
Also, I want to have sexual relations with that Amanda lady... - Funkleft, on 05/05/2009, -0/+5You have to audition to producers before you get to audition on that stage. They hand pick everyone for being either good or bad enough for ratings.
I'm not as bold to assume everyone has stage fright the same, I'm also not so bold as to act like every contestant is complicit. The fact is, people go on there and TRY, the people in charge of the show don't have a hard job. They get thousands of choices and all they have to do is pick stuff that's good, bad or absurd. That's why you often end up with direct competition like two magicians or two opera singers etc. Now if they keep him and boyle into the next portion of the series they can build up ratings drama by acting as if there was some sort decision the audience had to make, on which one they liked more. Which heart wrenching story is the most important? - i4ybrid, on 05/05/2009, -1/+6I think Britain's got more talent than America. How many stars has the American version produced?
- Conway, on 05/05/2009, -0/+5meh. Ok I guess.
- EMFK, on 05/04/2009, -6/+11Go Jamie!!
- toonworld, on 05/05/2009, -1/+5I have a Boyle growing on my skin.... a Susan Boyle, that is.
- liam1, on 05/05/2009, -1/+5He was a great singer, of course the show is edited to make it seem 100x more dramatic, but the fact is he has an amazing voice and is an undiscovered talent, like Susan Boyle (though this guy blew me away a lot more than she did).
- ericdano, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4This is really the show American Idol should have been. American Idol sucks balls compared to Britain's got Talent
- ridd1e, on 05/05/2009, -2/+6Where by better and better you mean worse and worse. There, fixed it for you.
- m1dn1ght, on 05/05/2009, -1/+5I don't watch this show because the sight of Piers Morgan fills me with homicidal rage but I thoroughly enjoyed that. Sure the whole thing is contrived and made overly dramatic but there's no denying that guy's performance was sensational.
- anexanhume, on 05/05/2009, -0/+4Right, so since one person does it, everyone will do it. Got it.
- anexanhume, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3I'd say that ring on his finger says otherwise. Besides, he doesn't look like the type of guy who'd get full of himself.
- penmanship, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3There should be an automatic ban on Britain's Got Talent stories. This staged, manipulative crap is insulting.
- zkirill, on 05/05/2009, -2/+5First time a YouTube video made me teary.
- divinediva, on 05/04/2009, -7/+10This show just gets better and better.
- clevername2, on 05/06/2009, -0/+3This guy is a fake. The Sun tabloid and others found out that he is a liar and IS a professional singer and has played in West End before a very very large audience.
- b3and1p, on 05/05/2009, -1/+4He defiantly needs to practice some more. His voice can be a little weak at times and shaky.
- ANA1OG, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3Lol wtf they used the score from "Layer Cake" with Daniel Craig.
- dasdef, on 05/05/2009, -0/+3and how!
- krwlngindark, on 05/05/2009, -1/+4/tired of this *****
- rkettner, on 05/06/2009, -0/+3Apparently he lied about never performing before...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmnCd-PYNBM - Funkleft, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2It annoys me to no end that you get a talent competition where all sorts of stage acts perform but then it just becomes another show about singers.
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 05/05/2009, -1/+3It's a TV show...
- flaznog, on 05/05/2009, -0/+2Bring back the Gong Show!!! Just off the top...
