There is a difference, FX is just a brother/sister company to FOX, I seriously doubt though they would have gotten the same treatment on a network, especially FOX, you know how their track records for keeping good shows on the air are, Comedy central is airing re-runs of this show though this summer.

I understand what you mean about the show being on FX but, from what I've heard, the viewership could be better even taking that into account. You're absolutely right, though, that if this had been on FOX it probably would have gotten canned after the third season like Arrested Development.
Always Sunny isn't necessarily as 'smart' as Arrested but it's definitely a lot smarter than you might assume at first glance. And, like Arrested, it's groundbreaking in its own way. - AiR1890, on 11/01/2009, -0/+1I'm glad its on FX, I have been watching FX before Sunny, back when they used to air lots of married with children re-runs. One of my favorite channels still. Some of the movies they play are crap, most of them are decent though. I'm not really into their other shows though, and they seem to be airing new comedies that are like sunny in some ways, but they'll never be able to achieve the funnyness and greatness of sunny.
