- bubblewang311, on 05/15/2009, -0/+2112 year old girls much be watching more videos online
- inactive, on 05/16/2009, -0/+16This is stupid. All they are saying here is that MTV had more usage in the month of April than the month of March. WTF? Who cares? Comparatively, they're still at the bottom of the online media offering websites.
Then the second part, about how older viewers make up the majority of Hulu... which then continues to say that they make up 30% of the viewers... so... the other 70% are younger viewers? Which means that the majority of viewers are younger, not older.
This article is retarded. - cmuska902, on 05/15/2009, -0/+12I actually found myself using the MTV site to watch Nitro Circus and Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. Still not sure why they continue to call it MTV...but I do love those two shows.
Edit: My Hulu use has declined in part to them limiting the selection of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" episodes to just 5... - solvable, on 05/16/2009, -0/+9They should of cut it all together.
- OKoperator, on 05/15/2009, -0/+9Well it's good to see MTV is back to showing music videos again... online... mtv... online... mtv... online.. .mmmmmm.... brains....
- quantumd, on 05/15/2009, -0/+5Just too bad audio/video quality are just as bad (if not worse) than youtube in most cases.
- peters1023, on 05/16/2009, -0/+5MTV is still dumb.
- dinglebutt, on 05/15/2009, -0/+3And making them.
- mgraham80, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3I'm just surprised and impressed that they track online viewing. That should bode well for shows like Dollhouse that are popular online, but not so much in the, errr, real world.

That's all the online video you need! - inactive, on 05/14/2009, -0/+3Only thing MTV has good is the AMTV that starts at 3am..finally, what happned to ya NMTV
- Barackalypse, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2MTV's 143k videos served is basically the rounding error when I say Youtube served 5.5 million.
- zbeast, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2What people are watching MTV? since when? Did it change from it's 24 hour's of crap format?
- inactive, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2Statistics are a funny thing. You can manipulate them to make mediocre news seem great but everyone knows Hulu is king of professionally produced streaming media.
- Mr_Lyle, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2I'm curious to see what Hulu's numbers will look like for the month of May now that they've banned all the Hotspot Shield IP addresses. Considering people all over the world used Hotspot to watch Hulu outside of the US, It wouldn't surprise me if their numbers dipped.
- Mercedes383, on 05/16/2009, -0/+2I just had a look at Joost. What a cool site. Found this video straight up.

and my internet gashdurnit - socrates17, on 08/12/2009, -0/+1I am not surprised at all. I would expect that music videos would be more popular online than entire TV shows and movies. Look at the most watched YouTube videos--most are music videos from popular bands. I think people are just more prone to watch a music video on their computer than an entire TV show.
- gkiltz, on 05/16/2009, -0/+0MTV?
