- SirBruce, on 08/28/2009, -0/+5Actually, both phrases are acceptable, since both were used in the show. And the correct follow up post is:
Except that one time when it actually was lupus. - chriscim, on 08/28/2009, -0/+4Firefox + AdBlock = What ads? Time to upgrade buddy.
- twentyonexnine, on 08/28/2009, -1/+4Really? There were people out there who couldn't figure out the whole House connection?
- hoodedrobin, on 08/28/2009, -2/+5I ***** want one. Just got done dow... err I mean watching seasons 1-5
- rompom7, on 08/28/2009, -1/+4In the traditional sense, you're right. However, the Caduceus is better known as the symbol of medicine. It is iconic.
Symbolism changes over time. And it isn't a bad thing. More people relate to Caduceus being the symbol of medicine, there's probably no reversing it. - bmcnally, on 08/28/2009, -1/+3Meh. I prefer steaks on a cane:
http://sc.tri-bit.com/Image:Steaks_on_a_cane.jpg - NewtonKnight, on 08/29/2009, -0/+2No, he (Hugh Laurie, the actor, who plays House) combined that doctory symbol with a cane. He also just published a pretty decent detective novel.
He's a talented guy. - Balanced, on 08/28/2009, -0/+2I think The Tod of Asclepius was from Scrubs, not House.
- TheIndigoSky, on 08/28/2009, -0/+1Or some rakes on a mane.

- ArkAngel06, on 09/14/2009, -0/+1He means the story is an ad.
No, AdBlock does not block stories... - CoolSilver, on 08/29/2009, -0/+1But really, It's never lupus.
- rompom7, on 08/28/2009, -0/+1I also legally purchased the product in question through American owned retail outlets, however I lost my receipt and my original copies.. Luckily I backed up my copies to my hard drive, then uploaded them to a familiar torrent tracker so that I could have easy access to any backups I created, whenever I need.
- acklefutz, on 08/28/2009, -0/+1Oh I get it! He's a doctor who uses a cane! So they combined that doctory symbol with a cane!
- armour, on 08/28/2009, -2/+2ahh the usual getting digged down for being correct.

It's funny you google medical symbol and you get hundreds of images of the Caduceus. Google EMS symbol and you get the Tod of Asclepius - withremote, on 08/28/2009, -1/+1Make your own - http://www.withremote.com/file_download/13/house-c ... your welcome.
- isunktheship, on 08/28/2009, -2/+1dammit "IT'S NEVER LUPUS" way to ***** it up.
- D14852001neko, on 08/28/2009, -9/+7Ok... the two snakes on a cane is the Caduceus, which is NOT the Rod of Asclepius! Get it right!
For those who don't know, the REAL medicine symbol, is called Rod of Asclepius, which is one snake circling a cane. The Caduceus, which is the symbol of two snakes circling a cane has nothing to do with medicine, but more with commerce... - amarketingman, on 08/28/2009, -8/+1I think it should have been a flying loracet
- inactive, on 08/28/2009, -21/+3So I guess that the ability to bury the new ads was a lie - thanks digg for making the site a ***** place!
edit: hmmm... FP with no comment - oh well who even gives a ***** about digg being gamed anymore with ads parading around as submissions.
