- decepticrat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I can't believe that they made over 90 documentaries and never even aired one of them. That seems like such an insane waste. I'm glad they're gonna finally see the light of day.
- empressofmetal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah, I thought River was a great choice to play a young Indy in Last Crusade and it would have been nice if he could have done the TV series. I'm really looking forward to getting the DVD collection when it comes out. It's about time! I think the intention is to put these documentaries in the box set along with the episodes, but now that the History Channel acquired them, I don't know how that affects the plans for the DVD set. I hope they're still going to be on there, I think it's a cool extra.
- acdcfanbill, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Young Indy on DVD... Finally!
- ZennZero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I get the impression that the intent was always to release them with the box set of the series... The problem is that be box set has never been released. The current rumored release date is at the end of this year, but then again, I saw similar posts claiming it would be released "soon" on IMDB dating back to 2004.
- srfrogger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Also known as the Hitler Channel. Hitler all the time.
They need to add more of this stuff. - Inknstein, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This osunds a littel odd but at the same time I can see the History Channel doing it so they can sell more DVD or get more viewers...
- VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's what the big "H" in the logo stands for.
- asaturn, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Lucas actually wrote these BEFORE he released the series. they were never released because he wanted to do things that only computers today would be able to do. And he wanted to rake in the cash from selling these as a special edition.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0HISTORY CHANNEL = changing history so it "sounds" better.
