- sockpuppets, on 11/13/2007, -3/+12224 can't possibly be in danger, it's the same plot every season.
- Lumbeekid06, on 11/04/2007, -5/+85save the actors......save the world!
- AmishRefugee, on 11/06/2007, -7/+58good, grey's anatomy has god-awful writing now
- Retype, on 11/13/2007, -10/+59The last 4 Heroes episodes have been pretty crap...
Perhaps the strike happened 4 weeks ago! that explains everything! :) - dartmanx, on 11/13/2007, -3/+46Can we take up a collection for the Grey's Anatomy writers so they DON'T return to work?
- luuneetoon, on 11/07/2007, -11/+47The way heroes is going, I would think the writers were already on strike.
- colonels1020, on 11/07/2007, -2/+38But what will happen to Hiro?
- Samji, on 11/06/2007, -3/+33What? "Grey's Anatomy" actually has writers? I should imagine it was written by manatees with plot balls. Good ridence to it .Grey's Anatomy is good damn awful. House FTW!
- Anliz, on 11/04/2007, -8/+35Could Al-Queda be the cause? Find out on our special "Don't Let the Terrorists Cause Terror" in 30 minutes
- ZenMojo, on 11/04/2007, -0/+26You mean the writers.
- thedonutofdoom, on 11/01/2007, -2/+28They have writing staffs?
- chris9902, on 11/13/2007, -0/+25Last season should've been about getting Jack back from China. They really ***** it up by releasing him in the first 5 minutes and then spending the next 23:55 doing the same old crap.
- m0nk, on 11/07/2007, -6/+28As does Heroes...I'm fairly disappointed with this season.
- KnightWhoSaysNi, on 11/07/2007, -2/+19To fix Heroes:
1) Kill: Matt, Dr. Suresh, Micah, Maya, Alejandro and the annoying Irish girl
2) Either put Nikki in a bikini or kill her
3) Restore Peter's memory (that storyline is lame)
4) Either start showing some real action sequences in feudal Japan or bring Hiro back
5) Give Claire, HRG and Syler some interesting stuff to do. - rhabd0mancer, on 11/01/2007, -0/+16The "Hiro-in-Feudal Japan" storyline must have been penned by scab writers.
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -0/+16I'm more concerned about the Daily Show and Colbert Report ending during an election season. Who's going to cut through all the *****?
- chesbomb, on 11/06/2007, -2/+16this better not ***** up lost.
- icegoddess13, on 11/07/2007, -0/+11Don't worry! Hiro will just go back in time and stop everything that created the situation in the first place. It's all in '9th Wonders.'
- MrCobaltBlue, on 11/04/2007, -0/+11Coming Soon to NBC: Strike!
The amazingly true story about 8 screen writers living under one roof while on strike. Hilarity ensues as the 4 writes from Gray's Anatomy get the piss beat out of them the first episode. - HellifIno, on 11/05/2007, -0/+11OMG!!! You used "affect" properly! WTF is wrong with you?!?! : P
- ZenMojo, on 11/06/2007, -9/+20Now how will I get my weekly fix of "random show about mostly white upwardly mobile men struggling to maintain their testosterone-fueled senses of self-entitlement in a world of strong women?"
- inactive, on 11/01/2007, -0/+10Were you expecting manatees?
- Subvexer, on 10/31/2007, -0/+10I knew it. They've been using monkeys to copy off tired TV cliches to Heroes since the start of season 2, possibly sooner.
- scottykempf, on 11/01/2007, -0/+9The Amazing Race for the win!!
- octophobic, on 10/31/2007, -1/+10Maybe if they bring in new writers they can do something to make Sylar into a more developed and interesting villain? He's very two dimensional right now.
- ianzu, on 11/01/2007, -0/+9There's always the internet...
- Oea420, on 11/07/2007, -2/+10Ehh, do you even watch the show?
Season 2 isn't as good as season 1, but it's not bad....
Molly Walker is a huge asset and her fate in the hands of good or evil will be a huge boon to each collective side.
The two mexicans? Think about her power for a second, she could be the catalyst for the evacuation we see in episode 6.
The katrina girl? I think her power will become one of the coolest on the show.. the possibilities are endless.. I expect to see her kick some major ass.
Sylar losing all his powers for no reason??? Didn't you see Bob try to get Suresh to inject Monica with the altered virus that's supposed to take away her powers? Notice how he mentioins gabriel grey? Notice how candice works for the company? Make the connection yet? Looks like they injected him with this altered virus, I'm sure gabriel will find a way to get Suresh's antidote eventually... Peter and Sylar both needed a soft reset in terms of their powers, as if they left them the way they were at the end of season 1, we'd have some major problems on our hands with characters who would be unstoppable.
Season 2 started off slow, but the most recent episode is starting to knit together each plotline, gave us some catastrophe to work against, et cetera... I'm really loving HRG returning to his old self - Eldorian, on 11/01/2007, -0/+8Every storyline in Heroes this season feels like that.
Heck this past week's episode seemed reminiscent of a bad teeny bopper show on the WB. - pyrator, on 11/01/2007, -0/+8Ok lets call it 'Groundhog 24'
- symmetry, on 11/01/2007, -0/+8"Broadcasters are preparing to screen reality shows if the strike goes ahead."
NOOOOO!! Please come back to work!! - rudy23, on 11/06/2007, -2/+10that dude west seriously makes me throw up woth his crappy acting
- racco, on 11/13/2007, -6/+13TV show. . . . comic book. . . . TV show. . . . . . Comic book . . . . .
two COMPLETELY different forms of entertainment.
you could read plenty more complex spider-man comics than any of the movies,
but you couldn't read a better web slinging chase through New York than the ones you can watch in the movies. - RealmDown, on 11/01/2007, -0/+6They deserve it because of their in-program hi-jack advertising.
- octophobic, on 11/01/2007, -1/+7There are these things called story "arcs" and when one of these "arcs" ends another begins. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_arc (Knowing is half the battle!)
- RealmDown, on 10/31/2007, -0/+5Sushiro do! The way of the jumping shark.
- KnightWhoSaysNi, on 11/01/2007, -1/+6A story about samurai warriors with no battles = lame
- colto, on 10/31/2007, -1/+6^^This is your brain on drugs.
- cambrown99, on 11/01/2007, -1/+6Would have been a more compelling headline if it had said that "The Office" and "Lost" were threatened. Or "Battlestar Galactica" and "Entourage". Or "Two and a Half Men" and "According to Jim". Oh well, more time to catch up on videogames.
- JonParker, on 11/01/2007, -1/+6Lest you think is not a bad thing, remember that it was a threatened screenwriter's strike in 2001 that is directly responsible for the glut of reality TV.
- DarkPrincess74, on 11/07/2007, -0/+5That's not true they change the name of the characters...sometimes.
- davmattucci, on 10/31/2007, -1/+5Is Grey's Anatomy the one where the Docs just ***** one another? Great television... really brilliant writing...
- mypreciousss, on 11/07/2007, -0/+4I couldn't care less about the grey's anatomy actors, but I'm up for saving hiro..
- NSMike, on 10/31/2007, -1/+5HOUSE is shallow?!? What are you smoking? Grey's Anatomy is nothing but a prime time soap opera masquerading as a medical drama. It's the new General Hospital with even worse romances. I'm not saying House is usually very deep, but at least the show has character.
- jazzyinco, on 11/05/2007, -0/+4The usage of all those exclamation marks loses its effect here.
- typicalusername, on 10/31/2007, -1/+5Well, if they get back to work, will I have to look at that this god awful love story between Claire and (Random hot guy, who's disenfranchised with the system)? Because, I'll be honest, looking at it makes me want to slit my own wrists...
- bangerznmash, on 10/31/2007, -0/+4I agree with you on Journeyman, it's a great show. But I disagree with you on heroes. It's called a storyline. Shows get different ones every year. Unless of course you watch lost....or soap operas.
- d3s3rtdrag0n, on 11/06/2007, -0/+3Get ready for a new round of crappy reality tv and game shows - .Hollywood's cynical response to the modest demands of its most talented creators. Ironically, the first 'reality' shows were responses to the previous writer's strike, but now even shows like "Survivor" and their ilk employ screenwriters. But wtf... I just miss Buffy...
- netant, on 11/06/2007, -0/+31) I like Suresh, he's a keeper. I like Greg Grunberg (Matt), so improve his lines and he's a keeper too. (They both help out with the Utoob shorts).
2) Agreed
3) Agreed
4) Agreed, but I get a feeling its what Hiro did in Feudal Japan that's causing this storyline.
5) Agreed
In addition:
6) Kill off the cajun chick that can't act cajun.
7) I got some bad news guys. As good as Kristen Bell's acting ability, it can't help crappy dialog, and transplanting her Veronica Mars character into a comic book. Fix it, or kill her off quickly too. - netant, on 11/06/2007, -1/+4The plots and dialog resemble what a manatee would write...
