Studio 60 is a great show, and it looks like it's going the way of Arrested Development. - cjoh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can go tot he website and write the advertisers thanking them for their support.
You can call your local NBC affiliate thanking them for airing the program
You can write NBC telling them how much you enjoy the program. - cindyloolala, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its disgusting. I really want to DO something about this rather than just talk about it. This is the best show on TV, and of course, the stupid network people think its too expensive, not enough viewers etc. Well, guess what? The more unintelligent drivel we put on tv, the lazier people get. RAISE THE BAR NBC!!!! Figure it out!!! You CAN change things when you put something worthwhile on the air. The bored, intelligent people who turned away from their TVs long ago will sidle up to their remotes. Give them some time!!! Or keep pandering to the slow and the insipid with cheap game shows that make you rich! Its truly appalling. WHAT CAN WE DO???
- Penseur85, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why is it that the best shows on TV are always killed off to make room for an extra night of crappy reality TV.
Do you think NBC has figured out the reason the are the crappiest network is directly related because they have the crappiest shows?
Killing Studio 60 would just further prove the point! - nitewing98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The sad irony of NBS (the mythical TV network on Studio 60) being lambasted for "low brow" TV in the first few episodes isn't lost on this viewer. Here we have Studio 60 being cancelled, yet Deal or No Deal stays on the air? Hello? Earth to NBC!
- ewcost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Save Studio 60!!!
- ryandeshazer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I just emailed NBC about saving the show....last ditch effort for sure, but I encourage all to do the same here:
www.nbc.com/Footer/Contact_Us/ - awbuckley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Please give this show another chance. Give it one more season. The West Wing didn't pick up its final fan base right away.
- RioGangsta, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Digg League of Justice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Americans are already dumb enough. We need networks to provide us critical thinking shows like these instead of "You think you can dance" or "Deal or no deal"
Digg League of Justice, save the show, save the world!!!!!!!!! - aedalia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Simply the best show on television. NBC is making a huge mistake. Give it a good night and proper advertising and everyone will be watching.
- RedRogue, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Dumb, unintelligent, brain-less, dim-witted, obtuse - That's not a review of the programme, but a small selection of how the 'Powers-that-be' could be described for cutting it.
In a time when we are bombarded with brainless 'Reality TV' and Serial Killer/Crime scene shows it was such a breath of fresh air to get an intelligent show like Studio 60. I so hope Aaron Sorkin takes his business elsewhere and gives the 'Intelligent' masses what they want! - longhornlincoln, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Where would shows like Cheers or Seinfeld be if networks had yanked them off the air before they established themselves? Studio has the characters to be here for a long time if NBC is committed to quality television, if they are not interested in smart characters and great dialog then the public is stuck with more scripted "reality" programming. It may be cheaper but it certainly isn't better.
- starburst, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The last few episodes of Studio 60 have been really great, I love the show. I hope NBC considers changing their mind about this one!!
