- ElGubrush, on 11/19/2008, -0/+18You heard the man, the people who succeed the most have the least population of their age. I'm pretty sure that's a call for multiple homicides right there.
Go fourth and murderply! - atdigg, on 11/19/2008, -1/+14This sentence shows that you didn't read the book.
- gaqua, on 11/19/2008, -0/+8Do I really have to wait for the fourth?
- blackfox026, on 11/19/2008, -1/+9Haha, atdigg, absolutely. If anything, the message was "the first impression is often the most accurate."
- natewren, on 11/19/2008, -0/+6Off topic, but how is Too Fat to Fish?
- nathanbutnet, on 11/18/2008, -0/+6I recently had the good luck to see Gladwell speak and suffice it to say I am excited to read his book after I am finished with Artie Lange's Too Fat to Fish. A quick story he told was of junior hockey players (and pro hockey players and even pro football players) and what months they are born in and it is generally in the first 3 months of the year. Why do you think that might be? Fascinating story.
- alexChambana, on 11/19/2008, -0/+51935 was best year to be born in in the previous century if you want to become rich. 1835 was the best of all the year to become rich.
Well, my kids will be born in 2035. And I am not saving for college. - ejpusa, on 11/19/2008, -0/+41955
Einstein dies.

Interesting . . . :-) - Twag86, on 11/19/2008, -0/+4He should look into when is the best time to submit a story to digg for it to make the front page.
- Dinsdale77, on 11/19/2008, -0/+3The best way to become rich? Colbert Bump.
- Aguyinachair, on 11/19/2008, -0/+2It'll be an outlier one way or another.
- GreatOne08, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Woohoo, I just got Outliers
- ima007, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1What birth year is statistically more likely to get laid more often?
- Louis11, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1No worries, I dugg you.
Just kidding, no I didn't. - ElGubrush, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1The one with the highest female to male ratio, duh!
- Louis11, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Wasn't there a post about that like 3 days ago?
- nathanbutnet, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Actually it is good. It is not as comedy-centric as I would have expected, but last night I did wake my wife up a couple of times with my snorting and chuckling. I don't want to ruin anything, but there are some crazy stories in there including losing his virginity.
- xutopia, on 11/19/2008, -1/+1Irrelevant though interesting.
- FENWAYFREAK, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1Really, so Gladwell was telling me to ALWAYS judge things by my first impression? Or did you not read the parts where he said it was wrong sometimes.
- hotjava23, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1*****, I'll take being born rich in any era or decade.
- hinchb, on 11/19/2008, -2/+1First impression is the most accurate (with experience on the topic).
- HimThatSpeaks, on 11/19/2008, -1/+0Nah, any moment people are going to come by and start digging it up.
- marcosh, on 11/19/2008, -3/+0Did Malcolm eat a sour tuna fish sub before going on camera? It looked like he was doing Colbert a favor by promoting his own book?!
- FENWAYFREAK, on 11/19/2008, -10/+2Blink was awful. The whole book was unnecessary. One sentence could have summed it up as "don't always judge things by your first impressions."
- HimThatSpeaks, on 11/19/2008, -10/+0If this comment can get dugg up enough, it could be an outlier. Please make this an outlier.
