- vagabondsteve, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Great article! How many of us on our death bed will regret NOT watching more TV? My bad habit of TV has been replaced with: jogging w/ my dog, yoga, martial arts, live music, meetup.com, day trips, friends/family, journaling, reading, parks, meditation, digg, and simplifying my life. The desire to watch TV has greatly diminished when the void was replaced with fulfilling hobbies and pursuits. It is amazing how much happier and more relaxed I am. It saddens me to think how much of my life was wasted watching too much TV.
- Slicebox, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1The sad thing is, I recently called the cable company to cancel my tv service so I would not watch tv. They deducted it from the bill but I still get the tv service.
I combated this by removing all channels except for Discovery, History Channel, TMC, and a few others.
I want to keep the tv for games and movies, so getting rid of it is not an option. - solesoul, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1I think I saw this on TV recently
