- Strongo, on 12/09/2008, -2/+36they should play up the ass rape...thats always my main deterrent from doing something wrong. Like this one time I was going to steal from a store and I thought, 'Is this worth getting pounded in the ass?' And the answer was no, it wasn't.
- oblivian92, on 12/10/2008, -0/+31Great video. Good reporter. Although I couldn't help but laugh when she was talking to that guy on his door-step and after a lot of cxars passed by, she said "Is there some ***** going down?". It was so out of place for her. lol
- BigCalvin247, on 12/10/2008, -0/+24I'm really hope that "Daniel" being behind bars 96 times is a typo...

"is there some ***** going down"
lol - IAmTheGuy, on 12/10/2008, -1/+12And "Oz" is much different from the classic Judy Garland musical.
- GeeksSpeakFont, on 12/09/2008, -3/+13wow, this is much different than an episode of "oz!" (it was a great hbo series though!)
- Vidalsassgirlie, on 12/09/2008, -2/+12Greta: He knocked over another ATM. This time at knife point. He needs your legal advice.
Fletcher: [picking up phone and shouting] Stop breaking the law, *****! - RockSlice, on 12/10/2008, -1/+10They could drop the rate of parole offenses if they actually helped the people live and work (arrangements with housing developments and big employers, for example) rather than just sending them out on the street with $200 and a pat on the head.
For that matter, having those arrangements in place for the general population as well would help prevent initial offenses. If they see the choices as being either homeless or a criminal, give them a third choice. Tell them, "If you're willing to work, we *will* employ you" - rald84, on 12/10/2008, -2/+11well see, getting ***** in the ass by a hot girl with a well-lubed strap-on in the throes of love is one thing. getting ***** by bubba the 500 lb gorilla is another.
- SemperFly, on 12/10/2008, -1/+10I'm stuck in Folsom Prison, and time keeps draggin on'
- Jade10145, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8So what your saying is that there is no way to rehabilitate people? There is no way for people to better themselves. Believe it or not, that is"supposed" to be the purpose of incarcerating people.
It's unfortunate that is does not actually work that way.
Oh and to answer your question, its just you dummy. I only say that because you have made such a blindly ignorant comment. - domnu, on 12/10/2008, -1/+9White Power Bill: WHITE POWER!
Gob: I'm... white. - SifuMoKung, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8The thread that ties all these people together is limited education. It made me sad.
- inactive, on 12/10/2008, -1/+8just you
- Amavel, on 12/10/2008, -0/+8If you've got a routine that you do after getting out of prison each time..you've got a problem.
- loveeveryday, on 12/09/2008, -5/+12psh.. Breaking out of prison. What like its hard?
- Vidalsassgirlie, on 12/10/2008, -1/+8Out of all the things going to prison includes (loss of freedom, loneliness, brutal fights, a possible violent death) a guy's worst fear is getting ***** in the ass. Shows you where priorities are.

- everlast88, on 12/10/2008, -0/+6I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.
- robopuppy, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5Some of them probably aren't criminals and got caught up in the system of (in)justice. Believe it or not, there is a tiny portion of the prison population that actually didn't do whatever they're in there for. That's why most western nations no longer use the death penalty, and states like Illinois occasionally move people off death row; the evidence shows that some people are indeed innocent, and to not be 100% sure at the point of flipping the switch is playing god.
- Sendss, on 12/09/2008, -0/+6Land of the free baby!
- Cojafoji, on 12/10/2008, -1/+7I'm seeing a lot of negative / joking comments. It's sad that most people don't realize that even if you screw up once, you can end up at the bottom of the barrel. Some times, you just get ***** by life, and there's nothing you can do about it.
- bethaners, on 02/27/2009, -0/+5Here's an idea: Why keep parolees chained to the exact same place that they originally offended? Inmates should be moved to a new area for their parole. People will find it hard to change if they are put in the same situation over and over and over again.
- kd1s, on 12/10/2008, -0/+5Having worked for the state AG's office I can say the following:
A very high percentage of those incarcerated are there for drug offenses. This is why I say we must stop the foolish war on drugs.
The other problem is that there isn't much support for these guys when they are released. We need to do a better job in that respect. And there also needs to be an educational campaign about hiring ex-cons. I've worked with ex-cons in the past, they aren't monsters. - ThatEvilGuy, on 12/10/2008, -8/+13The world elite is an amazing bunch.
1. Inject drugs into society
2. Profit
3. Send those who deal drugs into the prison
4. Profit.
Win, win. - painting, on 12/10/2008, -2/+7I agree, Laura Ling is hot.
- Godlike, on 12/10/2008, -0/+4I almost can't believe the horrible comments in this thread. I bet almost none of you ***** even watched this.
- Zukas, on 12/10/2008, -0/+4The concept of Prison is screwed up. As we saw it will ruin your life indefinitely, always make you suspect to employers, always making people look down on you, making life for these people that much harder.
If they wanted to keep people out of prison they would help them figure out a lifestyle that would contend to that, but instead they hand them $200 and kick em out the door. No one is going to be able to live an 'American Dream' after that, no one. Screwed for life is what prison will do to you.
If one's sentence isn't prison for life he should not go to prison at all. We need rehab for criminals, somewhere where they can have positive role models and learn how to enjoy life without going back to their old ways - ASupertramp, on 12/10/2008, -0/+4I think America's prison system is proof positive that prison for non-violent drug offenses is not a sustainable, or humane, policy. If we truly want to change our incarceration rates for the better I think that is the place we need to start. Also, I thought it was interesting how the officer's prediction about who would re-offend were correct. Overall pretty sad.
- chrisaug18, on 12/10/2008, -1/+5Rule number three: Actually click the link and read
- inactive, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3"frown" on torture? that doesn't keep you from committing it.
- iKs279, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3I dugg you cause you have interesting insight but I disagree.
Prison is primarly a way to keep dangerous people out of society to protect it, temporarily if we believe they can be rehabilitated and participate successfully in society in the long run or for life if they basically cannot. Therefore you can't just not put people in prison if you want to protect the rest of us.
On the other hand people do things for a reason, bad things or good things. It might be that they have a mental disorder, in which case they should be helped medically. It might be that they have nothing else to do to survive, in which case we should help them and help them help themselves. It might be because they are addicted to something, in which case we should help them overcome that addiction. The list goes on.
In any case both go together: you keep people out of society until they don't pose a threat anymore and you keep helping them afterwards to make sure they don't pose a threat again.
(I don't believe in putting people in prison to punish them. Everybody knows that killing people or doing drugs and getting addicted is bad and would rather not do it. There had to be a pretty bad reason for that to happen, or several of them together. The fact that they might go to prison will most likely not prevent them from doing what they do: after all if you're mad enough to kill somebody, you're not going to think about consequences clearly.) - ThatEvilGuy, on 12/11/2008, -0/+3You are a frog on a pan, keep believing government is innocent and has your best interests in mind.
- Godlike, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4Vid man, you are right but you won't be allowed to be right here.
Most people don't really understand, read: have NO TINY INKLING, of what the worst things that can happen to you are.
These are the same ones who will perish immediately should society ever crumble. They just don't understand how good they have it or how to deal with real pain or adversity. - endgame, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4That's sound advice man! =)
- aNte, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4Scofield didn't earn his tattoos!
- shandromand, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4You forgot the JFK assassination.
- sgtiger, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4She's a very awkward host and interviewer. It's as if she's afraid of her own microphone. Her style distracted me from the message of the video.
- enrihrts, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3I will never understand why people go to prison for using drugs. If they have to put them in jail, put them in a special jail away from violent offenders. They need help not punishment.
- Earlofnecromium, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3"we don't want to ruin people's lives because we stabbed them" deep.
Also those "gym" prisons look horrifically dangerous. - rdvon, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3You know how much money that would cost?
You know, the money we *don't* have. - Godlike, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4Then you just look like a faerie with soap tied to you. Just don't drop the ***** soap!
- edilclyde, on 12/10/2008, -1/+4slavery? are you kidding me? we are working hard in the free world then they use our money to feed them. i dont think its slavery.. its like a free cruise with complimentary ass banging.
- ASupertramp, on 12/10/2008, -0/+3Then I got distracted and missed it. My friends tried to describe it to me but it just wasn't the same.
- bethaners, on 02/27/2009, -1/+4In America we frown on torture. So, I doubt that your form of keeping people out of prison will work. Also, there are other contributing factors to re-offense. Like how these people don't have a chance to start anew, because they're kept from moving to a new area.
