- lpxxfaintxx2, on 07/02/2008, -18/+239Downright outrageous. Steinberg and Reddicliffe should sue their ass.
- GorfTron, on 07/03/2008, -5/+134They look like Jewish caricatures from Nazi Germany. Creepy similarity...
- digitalpencil, on 07/03/2008, -10/+122how the ***** do they get away with this ***** without being sued?
- Arramol, on 07/03/2008, -2/+80It's not even an, "I can tell by the pixels if I zoom way in" kind of thing - look at the smearing on Reddicliffe's forehead and the tiled on Steinberg that screams "clone stamp." Steinberg's inflated chin doesn't look terribly convincing either. Not only are they being childish, but they're amateurs at it!
- blackinthmiddle, on 07/02/2008, -9/+84Again, the best way to handle scum like the Fox News Network is to completely ignore them. I can't tell you the last time I watched anything from them, other than a clip that someone posted.
- inactive, on 07/03/2008, -40/+101Get a new hobby morons, this news was on the frontpage yesterday and has over 5000 diggs .
http://digg.com/politics/Fox_News_airs_altered_pho ... - MonsterChaOS, on 07/03/2008, -5/+65Fair and balanced... HA!
- pintomp3, on 07/03/2008, -3/+52some people aren't on digg 24/7. i am, but i've heard such people exist.
- ANA1OG, on 07/03/2008, -8/+42How immature. Fox news is ***** and the people who take it seriously should know how 'serious' Fox presents their 'news'.
- MWeather, on 07/03/2008, -2/+32"Again, the best way to handle scum like the Fox News Network is to completely ignore them."
I have two things to say to that:
1. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
2. All it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
Pick your favorite. - andersr, on 07/03/2008, -5/+32I dugg that story yesterday and knowing this was a dupe still dugg this one today, and if someone else posts it tomorrow, I'll digg that one too
- Modulo, on 07/03/2008, -0/+22whish you thought of wat?
- Pstmann, on 07/03/2008, -2/+24Well, maybe we should all check in with you next time before we post.
- Revolutionista, on 07/03/2008, -5/+26I don't respect Fox News enough in the first place to be surprised or even affected by this.
- hiriumi, on 07/03/2008, -8/+28How is this allowed in the world of journalism? Is it legal? Why isn't anyone in this country protesting against Fox News? News has to be based on facts.
- HairyGrapeNuts, on 07/03/2008, -2/+21Totally original, I swear!
- MattNF, on 07/03/2008, -0/+19whish you knew how to spell.
- chrissku, on 07/03/2008, -4/+21Fox News should lose the rights to include the word 'news' in their logo. It should be the Faux Propaganda Network. F'ing scumbags.
- StaticThunder, on 07/03/2008, -7/+24Fox: Not a news organization. Not journalists.
- quakken, on 07/03/2008, -3/+18Fox news- Keepin' it classy.
- inactive, on 07/03/2008, -2/+16Far un-balanced
you must have misunderstood their accents yall. - ocellnuri, on 07/03/2008, -1/+15If you're talking about the instance I saw, the people responsible for manipulating the Iraq pictures were quickly fired.
- V3n0M, on 07/03/2008, -0/+13Say "cool whip"...
- pnunn, on 07/03/2008, -0/+12Agreed- seems like this was a busy day for an intern by the looks of it...
pathetic... - iamnobody8614, on 07/03/2008, -0/+12Do you really think that the New York Times couldn't hold their own against Fox News? They've taken on the US government more than once, so I think they'd be alright.
- billbugger, on 07/03/2008, -7/+19it's one thing for john stewart to do this, it's quiet another for fox new to be doing this.
fox is supposed to be a new organization.
the daily show is supposed to be a comedy show.
yet, tds is more reputable then anything on fox. - freyaXgefn, on 07/03/2008, -1/+13do they really think that this is appropriate behavior for reporters to engage in?
- bbatsell, on 07/03/2008, -0/+11No one protested? You mean, other than him losing his job, and CBS being subject to numerous boycotts?
- freyaXgefn, on 07/03/2008, -1/+12maybe that's exactly what they were going for?
- Arramol, on 07/03/2008, -0/+10Whoops, that should say, "tiled hair on Steinberg." Apparently I fail typing.
- pintomp3, on 07/03/2008, -4/+13you guys are making a big deal over nothing. it's just a promo for their new show "chris wallace and gromit"
- zyl0x, on 07/03/2008, -4/+13Ridiculous, but not surprising.
- jkoski, on 07/03/2008, -9/+18douchebag much?
- bizkit00, on 07/03/2008, -1/+9because of US libel laws is why
- banmaster, on 07/03/2008, -1/+9Please provide proof of the 'liberal media' doing the same thing and there being no repercussions.
- SAc0balt, on 07/03/2008, -22/+30Sue? Why? Is it not at all possible that FOX News is just one big elaborate comedy show? It has to be. It must be. I'm convinced that FOX is a comedy network, only it's so ***** subtle that many people don't "get it". It's probably owned by The Onion.
I mean, okay, look. We all know FOX News is mostly ***** propaganda for the mindless masses, and is so far from being an actual news source with any shred of integrity that it's laughable, but goddamn! If you're going to photoshop people's photos because they're critical of your ***** news network, you're only further proving their point. - paradexes, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7Heh I thought the altered picture of Jaques Reddclife looked more like Sean Hannity.
- VitriolAndAngst, on 07/03/2008, -1/+8I'm only checkin on it a for 18 hours -- so I missed it as well.
LOL.
I don't get the huge amount of whining over duplicates. If it gets out of hand -- then make a stink. - iChaz, on 07/03/2008, -1/+8actually, TV is so bad these days minus a few exceptions, I find myself often watching fox news for the pure humor. almost everything they say is biased.
- Zippo, on 07/03/2008, -4/+11If you're gonna Photoshop, at least clean up your damn cloning. Amateurish.
- sircomix, on 07/03/2008, -1/+8Buncha goddam novices. Makes Farkers look like the Creator Himself.
- BowieX, on 07/04/2008, -2/+8"A-sha-MED"? Is he one of the Islamic terrorists?
- bjornski, on 07/03/2008, -2/+8Cartoons aren't presented as actual pictures of people.
- pintomp3, on 07/03/2008, -4/+10there's no fire and smoke in iraq?
- TheLoneHoot, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6I don't think the headshots would be obvious to most viewers at all. Certainly for the brief period of time they're on screen. I think most viewers would say, "Holy jeebus, those dudes are hideous and need some tooth whitening gum." I think the image of the guy's head on a dog was quite obvious, but that's where the average viewer would catch it. Now if you have super photoshop senses for images briefly shown on a Fox "news" broadcast, then you're completely awesome, but most people don't expect to have ***** faked like that.
So sorry, but fail. - inactive, on 07/03/2008, -5/+11This is a dupe, What I want to know is an update and whether or not these two NYT journalist are going to sue?
- iSkylla, on 07/03/2008, -5/+11Neither fair nor balanced
Fox Noise, today's worst person in the world!!!!! - bjornski, on 07/03/2008, -1/+7Hustler doesn't present itself as "news" and factual, either.
Though the fact that it IS more truthful than Fox should say something. - iSinned, on 07/03/2008, -3/+9That's not the point. The point is that it was aired on Fox News and it was an immature reply to the situation.
And also, no one mentioned that it was being passed as "news". How could this even be news? Thank you for stating the obvious, douche. -
