- TheVirus, on 10/27/2009, -5/+605Anything Firefly related gets a digg.
- Bring1ton, on 10/27/2009, -5/+517Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me - spencerclark, on 10/27/2009, -5/+392Bring Back Firefly!
- tcquad, on 10/27/2009, -7/+387No, I don't think we should move on.
- goobady, on 10/27/2009, -0/+314Last week he did a 2 by 2 hands of blue reference.
http://2.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_krhifaMYz61qa7bhk ... - Cwrestler141, on 10/27/2009, -2/+302Its funny that they won't bring back a show with a huge amount fans still but will continue to air the ***** blandest shows they can for several seasons
- SurrealDream, on 10/27/2009, -0/+261I just had a nerdgasm. Shiny.
- namja23, on 10/27/2009, -2/+202Good to know that loyal browncoats are still getting slight props.
- Pimptastic, on 10/27/2009, -4/+195There are too cows in space. Obviously the writers for Castle forgot that Captain Reynolds did transport cattle once.
- BigLou, on 10/27/2009, -1/+188The only reason I started watching Castle was because of my man-crush on Nathan Fillion. It's actually a pretty good show, nothing unbelievable or anything, but I do make it a point to watch every Monday. The Firefly easter egg really made me appreciate the show that much more!
Go Mal! - MikeSD34, on 10/27/2009, -0/+182Jayne, the man they call Jayne
- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/27/2009, -2/+156I can easily say that FireFly was hands down my favorite series to EVER air on TV -- it knocked Star Trek to a distant memory.
Any one of the shows had the most quotable lines, the best humor, pathos and fun of any two shows I've seen. These folks were survivors and their gallows humor and practicality made it more real. It had a low budget but didn't dumb it down like so many other shows.
I'm so glad FireFly didn't have transporter accidents every other week, that somehow always left people in another dimension to warn of an impending dimension -- if they did, that person would have been splattered in the typical world of "fatal accident." No time travel, no lucky reality distorting sci-fi accidents. All hutzpah. - RedWire75, on 10/27/2009, -0/+141This makes me so very happy.
- SurrealDream, on 10/27/2009, -0/+132You forgot the bit at the start that goes "twiddle-dong, twiddle-DWAANG"
- boeingb17, on 10/27/2009, -3/+119Would have been better if when she said "shouldn't you give it up already," Castle said, "NEVER!"
- madcap, on 10/27/2009, -2/+118Even in ODST Nathan Fillion made a great space marine
- VitriolAndAngst, on 10/27/2009, -3/+117Fox will probably cancel Dollhouse.
They seem to have the best talent scouts, and the worst programming execs in the industry. If they can't get 30 million eyeballs -- they cancel. But because the executive are all about their reputation, they won't sell programs like Dollhouse or Firefly to networks that don't need such a huge ratings share to air a show (like SyFy, for instance). It would embarrass the hell out of a Fox suit that FireFly and Dollhouse could have a ten-year run without their involvement.
It's the poison of the Big Paycheck, when you manage shows and collect lots of money for something that can only be judged if the intern did it for a month -- you have to DO SOMETHING. So they twitter with scheduling, shuffle shows around, and boldly remove the golden egg from the goose by Cesarian section because it is two days late. I don't think you have to go much further to find what makes Fox FAIL so spectacularly, so often. - VVCephei, on 10/27/2009, -1/+108Oh Firefly... You will NEVER know how much I miss you... I remember sitting infront of TV, watching Firefly so eagerly as if it were a set of fresh 18 year old ***** on some backward porn site.
I miss those days...
Edit: Not because of the backward porn sites... or the 18 year old *****... but because of firefly... Not saying that I don't like 18 year old *****! Ofcourse I do... it's just that I Like Firefly... More?

- pocketjacks, on 10/27/2009, -2/+73Obviously you forgot that Castle's daughter hasn't seen Firefly.
- yosafbridge, on 10/27/2009, -1/+71So Jayne strapped on his hat
And in 5 seconds flat
Stole everythin' Boss Higgins had to steal - wh3873, on 10/27/2009, -0/+69I referred to that as firefly the video game.
- martoq, on 10/27/2009, -1/+68Amazing that a show that was only on for one season...what 16 episodes? Has created such a cult following. It was pure tv magic and may never be replaced.
- Pimptastic, on 10/27/2009, -0/+66And thats her loss.
- MikeSD34, on 10/27/2009, -1/+67How was it not violent enough?! People were getting shot up, eat up, and Mal lost an ear for god sake! An ear!!
I suppose that's what you get for kicking a guy into your ships engines though. Darn. - buttercup85, on 10/27/2009, -1/+67" didn't you wear that five years ago?"
"shouldn't you give it up already?"
perfectly mirrors firefly fans (and I myself am one!)
that clip was amazingg. - inactive, on 10/27/2009, -2/+66That's because firefly wasn't two things: Dumb enough and violent enough.
- TheDrewboy64, on 10/27/2009, -1/+62He robbed from the rich and he gave to the poor, stood up to the man and he gave him what for, our love for him now ain't hard to explain, the hero of Canton, the man they call Jayne!

- mrand2008, on 10/27/2009, -1/+59A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.
- Cirok, on 10/27/2009, -0/+58Nathan Fillion is a fkn legend
- SketchaMPM, on 10/27/2009, -0/+55As did Jayne and Wash.
- christianw, on 10/27/2009, -1/+53if millions can tune into heroes every week then we can gol darn get them to understand firefly without too much hand holding.
