    No, whenever we see the star of david we automatically digg down because of the reputation you have given yourself with your useless comment spam. Just because we dont like you as a person does not mean you need to wrap yourself in the protection of your religion in order to invalidate our criticisms as entirely based on your religion. If anything, you are the anti-semite as you are cheapening the value and sanctity of the jewish faith by so casually USING it as a tool to set yourself immune to oversight by your peers. Be a man and take the "bury"'s as they are rather than wuss'ing out by deflecting it into a matter of religion, its sad.

Not only does it take place right at the edge of the planet, with Serenity barreling through it all... but man, when that massive fleet of half-chewed apart cruisers comes hurtling out of that ion cloud... holy ***** on a stick.

Granted it was the character development of the whole series compressed into a movie which you know, killed half the characters, but it was still a damn good movie by my standards and a good gateway into watching Firefly.

    The Firefly comics Joss Whedon is writing now retcon back to before the movie, I believe. They feature Wash and -I think- Book, as well.

  • Jolene, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Man, Summer Glau is such a great actress! (And damn is she beautiful.) She plays the progression of River Tam's degrading mental state so well! I will admit that these clips aren't as good as her full on roles as River in the show and movie, but she is still really great here.

    I really liked how the clips were grainy and in black and white. It made it seem like it was actually a security clip. It gave it more realism.

    I know this is kinda bad, but I really hope Summer doesn't get anymore big roles. I've seen her as River and loved her in that role, if I saw her as anyone else, I would just see River. I'm weird like that. Like Joaquin Phoenix, when I saw him in Gladiator as Commodus, I just hated him so much. He played the role so well, he just made me hate him like the character he was playing was actually him. Now everything I see him in, I hate him, just cause of that role.

    Either way, I hope they make a second season (and third, and fourth, etc.) and ignore the movie. I mean, it was definitely worth a watch, but without the characters it'd be tough... plus, I don't like the way they took it.

    Yeah, same here. I didn't discover this show until recently. I now own the series, the movie, and the soundtrack, Fox sucks. They really screwed the pooch on this one, showing the PILOT LAST! Showing other episodes out of order, and never showing the last episodes. It was doomed by Fox, it never had a chance.

    It sure did suck to lose those characters, but on the other hand every character in the show was so interesting I'm sure Joss could cast some great new people to fill the roles. Wash was a much heavier loss because you got to know him more, and he was a more innocent/childlike character.

    Pretty much. Yes, junkmail02, of course racism is still around and still a horrible thing, but the comment "Whenever I see that star of David, I automatically want to digg down" was about the symbol being associated with you and your comments, not about religion. If your icon was Peter from Family Guy, he would have said "Whenever I see Peter from Family Guy, I automatically want to digg down."

    You know that perfectly well, so going and claiming "anti-Semite!" about it is a pretty poor long shot.
