Granted most of the time, it works, but I could see his act stretched out over a tv show ending up a complete unfunny poser disaster. Sort of like a nerdy version of Mind of Mencia.

    I also really like Tosh, let's just hope he doesn't fall into the same trap.

  • Gregorio420, on 03/09/2009, -0/+1His attitude is what this type of show will need. He is great. Actually saw him in Omaha once, but I thought it was his act to hate everywhere that bad. I do see his point though.
    And he said the funniest thing I ever heard......
    Was joking about his response to when people ask what he hopes his soon to be born child will be.

  • sageerrant, on 03/11/2009, -0/+1I'm amazed that everyone has responded so positively to Important Things. I like it enough to watch it for the good bits, but Demetri Martin is easily one of my favorite comedians.

    Given that, Tosh has a chance, but they both need to learn from the mistakes made by similar shows in the past, or they'll be awfully short-lived series.
