- ephrils1, on 11/11/2007, -0/+2I havent seen anything on TV about the Strike at all....
- actorboy, on 11/11/2007, -0/+1It's there, but there's very little of it. That's because the studios own the news channels.
- aidan7, on 11/11/2007, -0/+1there's been some coverage on the nightly news. but yeah - you're right - not so much compared to the significance of the story, imho. The Office just laid off over 100 people. Huge impact in California. Print media has covered the story extensively. Since television is controlled by four or five big congloms - Time Warner, NBC Univ., Viacom/CBS, Newscorp, etc. - I guess the scant coverage isn't surprising heh? I'm kind of wondering about the story behind Current's airing of that vid. it's not like the end was lopped off to shorten running time, or something of that nature. The key phrase was definitely erased.
