Everything with Miguel was great, and everything with "the skinner" was a stupid half-baked plot device which should have been dropped in favor of a richer story involving Miguel. Anyway, congrats to the new couple. Something about them getting together seems strangely natural.

Hall was in that, too, so I apparently suffer from some sort of Michael C. Hallitis. I can't really watch Six Feet Under without expecting him to throw down and stab someone, and now I won't be able to watch Dexter without expecting him to throw down and have unprotexted sex with a gay male prostitute behind a dumpster.

I'm betting we find out next season that Harry is Dex's biological father.
And as for the real life marriage of Hall to Jennifer Carpenter, all I can say is nice catch. The show was worth watching still, but The Skinner part was so underwhelming and had a really anticlimactic end. There wasn't even a point to his skinning--like in Season 1, when all the blood was being drained from the Ice truck killer (or whatever his name was). It was just "ew, that's painful" without really fleshing (ha ha) it all out. Might as well had make him another run-of-the-mill killer. Everything with Miguel was great, however, and his character development was probably the most interesting of all the characters on the show.
This was probably the weakest season, I think. House and Heroes most notably have/had really been sucking their last season; Dexter was leaps and bounds ahead of them even with a weaker season relative to its last two. - constantine111, on 01/10/2009, -0/+11"you still don't know my name?" lmfao god that show is funny
