http://watch.thecomedynetwork.ca/#clip10948 - ProKid, on 12/17/2008, -1/+12Classic.
- Glugory, on 12/17/2008, -5/+11Do you even watch the show? He's already made fun of Obama on a number of occasions. Here's how the Daily Show writing process works. Politician says something stupid, they make a joke about it. They don't really pay attention to the D or the R associated with the name.
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -1/+6You realize your whole comment was just one long "but but Clinton" trope?
- patpl22391, on 12/17/2008, -3/+8I'd like to see an Obama montage from Stewart soon. It will contain the following words/phrase. "CHANGEY McCHANGER! WE ARE SO LIKE GOING TO LIKE CHANGE THINGS! IT WILL BE REALLY CHANGERIFFIC! YAY CHANGE!"
- Jicima, on 12/17/2008, -1/+6lets just stop getting at each other's throats over politics. Wake up and realize that both parties are the same. Start believing in yourself and your fellow man, and stopped being duped by these charlatins, whomever they may be and whatever they may call themselves. Now that Obama got elected we are all finding out that what he told us to get us to vote for him and what he is actually willing to do are pretty different things.
Work for a third party in America. Work for a party of the people and not one of the two which are one. It is time, probably the last time. If we do not stand together, if we let them divide us, then we are going to be fighting each other while they all sit in their mansions and enslave us all with their corruption and greed.
Let us all find it in our hearts to stop this tit for tat and petty bickering and just allow one another to live and let live. Please, in the name of God! - jbmcb, on 12/17/2008, -1/+5It was funny the first time around, less so when replayed right before the election. Third time around, ech.
The election is over, give it a rest already. - CyberSally, on 12/17/2008, -1/+4McCain is great on there!
- tgc1, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3Install silverlight? They're kidding right?
Thanks for posting the Canadian link anyway though.
Edit: Nevermind, didn't see that option for not using silverlight. - jbmcb, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3Why is it called the Comedy Network in Canada? Do they have comedy affiliates in Vancouver and Montreal? Do they have live special reports from the Second City in Toronto? Does Nunavut have special local comedy programming catering to Eskimos?
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -0/+3The one in which the 'senior black correspondent' thinks that Mccain is the black candidate is classic.
- jbmcb, on 12/17/2008, -2/+5The difference is - when a Democrat says something stupid, they make fun of what they say. When a Republican says something stupid, they make fun of the person. I still think it's funny either way, they're just a bit more vicious with latter.
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -3/+5Actually, they DO pay attention but now they cannot allow themselves to have that luxury. Their ratings depends on it.
- orion846, on 12/17/2008, -1/+3didn't know there were steve carell v mccain 2000 clips out there, gonna have to look those up
- inactive, on 12/17/2008, -2/+4Stewart and Colbert Diggs make me complete
- assbeard, on 12/18/2008, -0/+2that gave me a south park clip
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -0/+2Obamedy Central, that's the place.
- marmanukem, on 12/17/2008, -1/+3BOOM Wilford Brimley!!
DIABEETUS IS GONNA GET US!!! - heybigjohn, on 12/17/2008, -4/+62008 was a great year for the Daily Show because of the campaign. But I think Stewart will struggle to apply the same edginess to a President Obama or a Democratic Congress; I fear his loyalty will keep his writing from being as funny or biting as it might otherwise be.
- Damian91, on 12/17/2008, -1/+2McCain actually walked off stage? Never seen that one...
- frjsanders, on 12/17/2008, -3/+4Love the Daily Show and the Colbert Report
- alanocu, on 12/17/2008, -2/+3Good god, I don't know if that comment is more appalling for Obama, McCain, or Jon Stewart.
- YouAreDead, on 12/17/2008, -3/+4awesome
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -0/+1Straight up.
- alanocu, on 12/17/2008, -5/+6Stewart was much more interesting to watch when he quit buying Wild Bill’s act. We had Oval Office fellatio and amber waves of girls gone wild, booby-slapping and ass-grabbing, exposed nipples, thongs and bongs, cigars and saxophones, angry wives and tax hikes.
McCain moments are so boring compared to the impeachment of Clinton. Stewart's analysis of what the meaning of the word 'is' is, was the funniest Daily Show episode to this day. McCain moments are like watching a rerun on Nick at Night. - Eugenis, on 01/16/2009, -0/+1Best travel moments: http://travelviewguide.blogspot.com
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -0/+1As disappointed as I was that my candidate lost, I know I have a whole hell of a lot more say in my lot in life than any president does.
Barring some sort of nuclear war, of course. - inactive, on 12/24/2008, -0/+1not even funny
- nickymouse, on 12/17/2008, -3/+4Hey John... The horse is dead. You can quit beating it now. (that's what she said)
- pennvneff, on 12/19/2008, -0/+1"John McCain Reformed Maverick" segment was probably one of the best segment the Daily Show has ever done.
http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index.jhtml?vide ... - Spoomeister, on 12/19/2008, -0/+1I would be so impressed if John Stewart's first show of 2009 had McCain on as a guest, basically so that Stewart could pause for a full 5 seconds, and then simply ask, "what the ***** happened to you?".
- inactive, on 12/18/2008, -1/+1The Daily Show cannot possibly survive an Obama presidency. If Chris Matthews had a thrill going up his leg for Obama, Jon Stewart has a thrill going all over his body for him.
No way does the show survive, especially with the Dems in control of Congress as well.
Daily Show, R.I.P. - shebaabc, on 12/20/2008, -1/+0 Here is the thing, if people would of really heard him they would of not voted. If they read his book the same thing. Obama just lied, he always changed what he said. Just as he is now. He was never born in the U.S.A.
