But then CC gave up the rights and E! became "the only place to watch SNL."

- Balanced, on 07/09/2009, -0/+3I think you are correct. The idiom is usually '[Show] lands on [network]' as [network] is a container for shows, so the analogy is like landing on a square in a board game or even a plane landing.
