- FirstCuts, on 04/27/2009, -5/+66The show definitely falls in to the category of "guilty pleasure" at time, but hey, Yvonne Strahovski is easy on the eyes, Chuck and Co. are pretty funny, and the music is always great. Season Two has hit its stride, big-time, and there are few shows I enjoy as much on a given week. I'll be eating Subway for lunch and dinner this week!
- michaelphw, on 04/27/2009, -1/+48I will sacrifice watching Heroes to save Chuck easily!
- rwbrinso, on 04/27/2009, -7/+54FREEEEEEE HAT.
No, seriously, Chuck ***** rulez. - smindsrt, on 04/27/2009, -3/+33I'd rather see Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) but Zachary is cool too.
On a crazy note.... my family and I will be eating at Subway tomorrow night! (hope it helps save Chuck) - nintyFREAK, on 04/27/2009, -3/+32Terrible video, but an awesome cause for a great show. Pure awesomeness to see this lead by Zachary Levi.
- noneofya, on 04/27/2009, -0/+25Since NBC moved Leno to the 10pm slot and therefore lost 5 hours of primetime, many of its shows are on the bubble. Unfortunately, Chuck is one of those shows. Although it is on the safer side of the bubble (it's demos are higher than the NBC average) the show's fans organized a Save Chuck campaign. This campaign urges fans to buy Subway sandwiches on 4/27 (the day of the Season 2 finale) due to the fact that Subway is a sponsor of the show (google Chuck versus The Footlong). Zachary Levi is the star of Chuck (Chuck Bartowski himself) and on the eve of the finale (during the Starfury Convention) he led a huge group of fans to a Subway in the UK after a fan suggested that international fans show support of Chuck by participating along with the US fans in the Save Chuck campaign.
- ceredron, on 04/27/2009, -2/+26Damn, I love Chuck too. It's just one of those shows you really can sit down and watch, despite all of it's ridiculous premises, because you know reality is suspended for a little bit, and you get to live in a little world just outside our own. A great little world.
Don't cancel Chuck, NBC! We love it... - bryano, on 04/27/2009, -1/+24Chuck is ...... Awesome.
- IllestGodzira, on 04/27/2009, -3/+20Last minute reminder:Go get yourself a $5 Footlong from Subway tomorrow or today if you are reading this right now on 4/27.

Can't wait for tomorrow's episode. - TheMightyB, on 04/27/2009, -0/+13Can someone explain this to a non-Chuck fan?
Also, I work in a subshop (not subway) and my god do I feel bad for those people working... - Vee87, on 04/27/2009, -0/+11I was there when this happened. The whole thing was Zac's idea as well which to me is amazing. He was there for so long making all these sandwiches, chatting to everyone who came past. It was such and incredible and surreal experience! The show definitely deserves renewing after all this effort we put in!
- ninjapengie, on 04/27/2009, -3/+14My whole family from age 2 to 57 will be watching the finale together with our Subway sandwiches to munch on. What an enjoyable show for everyone! Don't make the 10 year old sad- she's a ninja; Save Chuck!
- kensai111, on 04/27/2009, -0/+11Chuck is a brilliant show and I've gained more respect for Zachary Levi. Sporting my Nerd Herd shirt and visiting my local Subway for ya tomorrow Zach & crew. Good luck!
- 12916studios, on 04/27/2009, -2/+12I will be eating Subway tomorrow for dinner while I watch the season finale. Should be absolutely wonderful. I really hope Chuck gets renewed for a third season. It's truly one of the most consistent shows week to week when it comes to quality, and each episode of this season, I can honestly say without hyperbole, has been better than the last. SAVE CHUCK!
- cdwrites, on 04/27/2009, -3/+13Getting $5 foot longs at Subway for Monday's episode, too! (Don't forget to put a comment in the suggestion box while you're there, that says thanks to Subway for sponsoring Chuck! (You Tweeters add #savechuck :-)
- Dukemen, on 04/27/2009, -1/+11Chuck is fantastic and deserves a third season. I am a big fan and I'll be at Subway tomorrow to support Chuck.
- 0tis, on 04/27/2009, -0/+9One question - if Subway makes money out of this, that's great, but will NBC actually notice?
Anyways, don't cancel Chuck, please. - diemunkiesdie, on 04/27/2009, -2/+11I'm getting Subway tomorrow as a sign of solidarity as well! Good that this was on Digg today because I had totally forgotten about that plan!
Edit: Did anyone hear what he ordered? I thought the plan was to get Sweet Onion Chicken Teryaki because that is Big Mike's favorite sub. But it didn't sound like that is what he ordered...
Edit 2: NBC, if you cancel Chuck, I will stop watching Heroes too! - KermitJagger, on 04/27/2009, -0/+9NBC cancels shows like Chuck yet they keep running godawful crap like Celebrity Apprentice. WTF??
- RedHawk911, on 04/27/2009, -0/+8This show should be getting around 10 million viewers per week. It's such a good show. Definitive my favorite right now.
Don't cancel this show NBC! - winnopeg, on 04/27/2009, -2/+10Poor employees.
- DemDude, on 04/27/2009, -0/+8Awesome! I love Chuck, I didn't even know they were thinking about canceling it! I have to resort to... well, I'd say inconventional ways to get the show (I live in Germany, we don't have Chuck on TV), but now I'm going to order the DVD-Box-Sets to show my support. Anyone know if they make Region 2 DVDs of the Show?
- HyphySoul, on 04/27/2009, -0/+7Whew! For a second I thought that my computer was being slow, but it was just the crappy video I was watching.
But it's awesome that he's interacting with his fans like this. - JakeBC, on 04/27/2009, -0/+7Save Chuck!
- Ianki, on 04/27/2009, -3/+10Chuck deserves to be saved after a great 2nd season, though i'm glad that they are taking a fairly safe route and seemingly ending most of the story lines at the end of this season.
- Diggbotness, on 04/27/2009, -0/+7Just pre-ordered season 2 and sent an email to NBC. Keep Chuck!
- LoadStar, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5For the non-Chuck fan:
The critically acclaimed series "Chuck" is on the bubble at NBC, due partially to low ratings (though average for NBC these days) and due partially to Leno being given nearly 20% of prime time next season.
In a recent episode of "Chuck," Subway purchased a product placement, in which a major character referenced a $5 Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki footlong sub. They have also been an advertiser on the show for a while. As a show of appreciation for their support for the series, fans are buying $5 footlongs (particularly today) and letting the franchiser know that the purchase was a direct response to Subway's advertising on Chuck. - noneofya, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5He went to the back and helped the employees make the sandwiches until the last customer was served.
- Final2, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5http://www.hulu.com/chuck
- Xionic, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5Zachary Levi Rox!
- TonySki, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5That's why he jumped back there and helped them hand out sandwiches.
- noneofya, on 04/27/2009, -1/+5Zachary Levi = star of NBC's Chuck.
(See The MightyB's replies) - AaronCo, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4It's a fun, cute show. Hope they keep it, it's always worth a few laughs just off the premise alone. I'll strike "The Morgan" pose in support later.
The only real downside to Chuck is that it's followed by Heroes. Which I always figured was the point. Heroes needs you to suspend your disbelief to work, and it's not really able to accomplish that on it's own. - diemunkiesdie, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4The last episode pretty much ended all the story lines (as long as you don't count that last scene). The next episode is supposed to be a very unsatisfying resolution if it gets canceled.
From an interview with Chris Fedak:
If "Chuck vs. the Ring" winds up being the last episode of the series, how do you think the fans will react?
They're going to burn their living rooms. They're going to destroy their television sets. There could be chaos across the country. My feeling is I always love endings that get you excited about the next part of the story. Even if, God forbid, we weren't brought back for the season, you would know there are great adventures out there going on for Chuck Bartowski, but it's not something I can wrap my head around. I want to be able to tell those stories.
Source:http://sepinwall.blogspot.com/2009/04/chuck-chris- ... - estacado, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4The way the season is ending, I think it's okay for it to end with Chuck being free of the intersect.
- imikedaman, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4I heard there's going to be an official video of the event on ChuckTV.net and maybe ChuckPodcast.com sometime today. You can see an official cameraman following Zach Levi around in this video.
- Shadewell, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4its kool aid and google it you smartass
- mycompy386, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4I didn't know people still even watched Heroes. But each to his own I guess.
- rancidpony, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3He'll do anything to keep working with Yvonne Strahovski.
- SlackerCS, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3Celebrity Apprentice probably costs NBC about 10 bucks a week to produce. Hour-long dramas cost a lot of money (especially action/special effect heavy dramas).
- killerpopiller, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4again they are about to cancel a great show, but to show my sympathies - I will get myself a subway sandwich here in germany - probably won't count, but it's the least I can do
- StolenLamp, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4Google it you lazy douche.
- sgxyay, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3Your eyes. Use them to read things. Then you'll know.
- FirstCuts, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDtePZ1MFT0 Here's an HQ video with Levi talking to the crowd before they all march over to Subway! Great stuff. Don't forget to Tweet all your #savechuck efforts!
- imikedaman, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3Is this the official video?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDtePZ1MFT0 - roberthazelby, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3You can get a UK import of the show, here:
http://www.amazon.de/Chuck-1-UK-Zachary-Levi/dp/B0 ... - deacon1729, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2My wife and I rarely watch TV together because we have such different tastes. The one and only show we watch together is Chuck.
- Schmapdi, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2600 people there, and from the video it looked like about 550 of them were taping everything on their camera phone.
UGH.
*Though it is a good cause, Chuck is an awesome show well deserving of renewal - I just don't like how everybody tapes everything on crappy camera phones nowadays. - tdogg241, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2Don't worry. Even if Chuck gets cancelled, you'll still have Dancing With The Stars.
- kenlaw, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2Casey: Attaboy Chuck!
