- btgoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Yeah, in the states we haven't even seen these episodes yet... so it is spoilers, but since it was on Gateworld it is too late.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14In 200 they didn't "really" meet the furlings.
- DoscoJones, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Have those eps haven't shown in the US yet? Some folks don't like spoilers.
- hockey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13You didn't see 200?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14The question is, will we see Asgard technology incorporated into Stargate Atlantis?....
And when the hell are we going to meet the Furlings! - insomniac8400, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I wonder how it will happen. Parallel universe Carson, ascended Carson, cloned Carson, replicator Carson, or holographic Dr. Carson (ha).
My bet is on ascension. - DoscoJones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Bite me. My spelling was PERFECT. My grammar is another issue altogether.
- MioTheGreat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11"Exploding tumors." -McKay
Best. Line. Ever. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10You don't know the difference between grammar and spelling? You *definitely* belong on Digg.
>.> - warriorscot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I think Asgard technology is the only obvious way to save the city and not have any more "oh ***** i broke the ZPM" moments.
- hockey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10This isn't really a spoiler.
The season has already aired it just hasn't aired in the US yet.
Again the final 10 episodes have already aired in other countries.
The diggers outside of the US don't consider this "spoiler" material because they've already seen the episodes. - drjekelmrhyde, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Will he be a ZOMBIE
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9You're reading it wrong.
They're saying look for the clue when the second half of season 3 starts. - TheCash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10**Spoilers**
Think about a great conversation Mckay has with 'himself' on the roof of one of the Atlantis towers in the end of 'Sunday.' Remind you of any conversations O'Neil had with 'himself' in Season six of SG-1? Yup.
I still can't believe some suit seriously thought that killing Beckett would raise ratings. How does killing off a beloved character and giving people one less reason to watch the show entice them to tune in more? I wonder if these morons go on diets by eating at McDonalds more often. I bet Paul McGillion is feeling pretty good about himself and his skills right about now. Unlike Rainbow whatever his name is, whom no one really gave a crap about after he was killed off, and then brought back for some of the most annoying eps of the season. If not for the saving grace of 'Rodney on Steroids' scenes, those eps would have been worthless. - billb914, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11thanks for the spoiler
- REBELinBLUE, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8wooo, honestly wasn't expecting to ever see him again. Might have to watch some of the later episodes tonight see if I can spot the mentioned hint.
To Americans who are annoyed, sorry that it has been ruined for you (although I knew he was going to be leaving, but didn't expect it to happen the way it did and really enjoyed the episode, so don't be put off) but as someone just commented to me on MSN "Now they know how it feels" as it happens to the rest of us normally ;) - Konrad9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Hey, *****.
I read spoilers on SGA all the time, because I like to, but a lot of people would/will be pissed if they read that. - sybs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Yeah, thanks for that massive spoiler in the title, you pillock.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Kaylee is hot mmkay but I still need Carson, besides McKay, he is my favorite character.
- xkrwlng, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Stargate rocks
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7My bet is flashbacks.
- directedition, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8All he says is "The universe is a big place. Maybe we bump into each other." I think that hardly counts as a mechanism for his return.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7It reminds me of another asshat who spoiled about Starbuck and BSG... :-/
- MioTheGreat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Unless an Ancient ascended him, he couldn't have ascended. Humans can't ascend on their own without either weird Ancient DNA manipulators, or the help of the others. We've all seen The Tao of Rodney....
- Nothlit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Seriously, what digg user doesn't just download these episodes instead of waiting forever to watch them on Sci Fi? They aired in Canada and the UK weeks ago...
- omatsei, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If you don't remember him dying, then you haven't seen all of season 3.
- Krakn3Dfx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yes. Yes he will.
Oh...spoilar alart...
He will be a zombie. - bump98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You're reading it wrong.
They're saying look for the clue when the second half of season 3 starts.

the direct quote is "In order to lay the groundwork for his possible return, we threaded a subtle hint into ONE of the late Season Three episodes." My guess is the scene at the end of "Sunday". When you see it you will know what I'm talking about. - MioTheGreat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I was thinking evil RepliCarson, but the Asurans didn't stick their hands in his head in The Return Part 2.
Sort of like what happened to Sam at the end of New Order. - Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Think "one last goodbye" with Rodney. That's the scene he's talking about.
- Dumbledorito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Boom, baby!
- 35263526, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I don't see how killing him could causing a ratings rise. Does any Stargate fan get emotional when a major character dies anymore? We've seen it happen enough times that I for one just expect a return within the next 10 or so episodes. Even with Frasier she came back from an alternate universe.
Still, it'd be nice to have his return confirmed. I rather liked the character. - WasabiBomb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7*sigh* Well, there goes THAT surprise. Thanks for putting the spoiler in the damn headline.
- nighttrain2007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Sweet. Good to see he's back. Going to miss SG-1 although it was going to eventually end
- PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@guspaz
SG-1 still has 10 episodes left to air in the US. Quit it with the spoilers. Dick. - warriorscot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Carson was apparently one of the people along with sheppard with the most natural Ancient genes so maybe he could ascend on his lonesome, maybe someone helped him its not impossible its been done before.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I've been really sad when Selmak (Sam Carter's father) passes away... :-(
- skankyBacon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I couldn't resist watching the episode on YouTube (or whatever online video place it was), but this was a pretty major spoiler. Not everyone who watches the show visits Gateworld.
@airdish "Any true fan has already seen the rest of season three and so this is not a spoiler."
Not all "true" fans enjoy being spoiled. I did watch this episode, as I said, but I haven't watched any others. If I watch them all now, then it's just that much longer I have to wait for next season. I want to stretch them out...savor them, if you will. - apetrie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Usually things air in the U.S. first. Do Americans ever give a crap about talking about something online that might ruin it for other people? Seems like, for the most part, they don't. I guess its only some great internet injustice if it affects you.
Anyway, this is why TV should be distributed on demand online without geographic restrictions. - HouseofEl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Thanks....hasn't aired in the U.S. yet and I had no idea he was even leaving.
- airdish, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Any true fan has already seen the rest of season three and so this is not a spoiler.
- rivbus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Season 3 was absolutely awesome, but I can't wait for Carson to come back. I too recon he has ascended and will come back like Daniel was able to in SG-1
- Gabes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Never really liked his character until he started to play a bigger role. Glad to see his is comming back
- omatsei, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5@MioTheGreat: I don't know where you came up with that, but any human can ascend without the aid of anything else... the problem is that the emotions and stress and all that human crap gets in the way, which is why it takes years or meditation and such. Having help just makes it easier and quicker.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"Bloody Hellll, Rrrodney! I'll be back!"
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Did somebody say "flashbacks" and "dream sequences"?
- nebulan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I doubt it. They specifically said that it wasn't an alternate reality Carson. That and "McKay and Mrs. Miller" was in the first half of the season.
- EBFoxbat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5By coming back, I'll assume he's going some place... thanks for ruining that.
- Superclone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Here's a thought ... don't put the spoiler material in the summary statement.
Way to Lone Gunman it for people who aren't seeing it RIGHT NOW.
Jackass. - WickedDrag0oN, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Seriously, you peeps need to STFU, the new season doesn't air until Friday here in the USA. Jesus Christ, you really do know how to ruin some bodys favorite series don't cha.
I despise you all. Thanks for ruining this for me. -
