- JFitzpatrick, on 07/25/2008, -0/+12I saw Dustin Diamond do what I can only loosely call a stand up routine about 4 years ago. It was the most wretched excuse for stand up comedy I'd ever seen. Not only was it completely devoid of humor, but his entire routine was apparently based around insisting that he was the only male cast member of Saved by the Bell that wasn't homosexual. That isn't even the biggest part of it. I was in the very very back of a rather large room, and after a few minutes got up and left because it was such garbage. It was dark, the lights were dimmed, and except for the people along the back wall nobody even knew I was leaving. Dustin Diamond actually starts screaming at me. It wasn't a funny part of a routine, he was flipping out. When I left he was still ranting about me leaving, and according to a friend that stayed through the whole awful performance the "WTF was that guy's problem?" rant lasted for some time.

This isn't a limited space format nor a large news website (although it does contain such). Were CNN to be running this on their front page instead of any one of the numerous real headlines in today's world, that's a reason to be pissed. Instead, you're on Digg where nobody's forcing you to read about Dustin Diamond's downward spiral or keeping you from hearing about how three Air Force officers fell asleep while holding on to nuke codes by posting this story.
