sunherald.com — I knew about this site from a couple of months ago when a friend told me about it. The service really is the fastest video download site I've ever seen. Not sure where the content is coming from, or if it's legal, but it has TV shows on there that you just can't find anywhere else.

For instance, the webmasters can put up whatever content they find that they can put up, and can even 'offer' a download-link ... just like I can tell you the secret word that kills hearers on contact; but it's You who takes the opportunity to commit the crime!

  • repisred, on 02/20/2008, -0/+0Re the comment about planted comments...you would only say that if you haven't used Graboid...the CS is stellar...they really do help when you run into a problem...I have used other programs and the download time is like watching paint dry...Graboid downloads are incredibly fast and the selection is pretty good..especially if you are into old movies you can't find anywhere else..

  • AOFearborn, on 02/10/2008, -0/+0The service is good. Some of the selection is available elsewhere (like cinemaonline and watch-movies). The pay service isn't too bad, before I found these others (when Graboid came out, in August) I paid and was able to download quite a few good movies very quickly. Unfortunately I also grabbed a non-working Transformers DVD and Interview with a Vampire DVD. Those wasted a lot of my bandwidth.

    Still I'd recommend it, but definitely check any movies before downloading!!

  • kittykat333, on 02/08/2008, -0/+0No, this isn't right. They make it sound like the free membership is 4 gigs/month, but it is really 4 gigs for the entire free membership. After that you have to pay or go back to the tried and true. It's pretty sneaky and I don't like it, so even if before I would have paid for the membership, I won't now because of their deceptive "advertising." It's interesting cause if you look closely at all they say, it doesn't say anywhere that you get 4 gigs a month, it's just implied because that's how the pay memberships work, and then suckers like us fall for it.

  • thadrine, on 02/07/2008, -3/+2I have been a member since the early beta. It has got everything I have ever looked for and the speeds are insane. My crappy Road Runner connection usually runs at around 800k/s when I am downloading from graboid, enough to stream a video live.

  • Crimsoneer, on 02/07/2008, -4/+3I've been using this for a month or so now, and I definitly haven't been dissapointed...Don't know about their claims to legality, but you do get speeds in excess of 350k/s pretty consistently, and a great selection.

I tried the free service but ran out of bandwidth so I upgraded to Silver account for $13 per month for 50GB of bandwidth and access to hi def content. I have a Hi Def LCD TV but no cable or satellite (500 channels and nothing on so why waste the dough). Most tv shows I watch comes from the internet. I searched many popular sites, but Graboid is the only one I've found so far that has the best quality and speed overall. My wife and I connect our PC laptop to our tv and watch Star Trek Voyager episodes with ease on the big screen.

I found a show the other day that was popular when my mother was a young girl, and I have never seen this show online. Also, their customer service was great to me recently. I had a problem with signing on and had to email them with the problem. They responded quickly and effectively. It was a relief because so often I have run into problems with other sites and it ends up being this big ordeal over something so little. I braced myself wondering how Graboid would respond. I was pleasantly surprised when they responded so quickly. Then I was happy with how they not only solved my problem, but encouraged me to get back with them if there were any more issues. I am very happy with Graboid.

Insanely fast download speeds for me in excess of 600 kb/sec and no file failures so far! As a free member though, there is a huge amount of titles to choose from! I'm a dedicated GRABOID fan! Their customer service is cool as well! Highly recommended as a cool site! Way to go CANADA!

I can download full length movies in less than 30 minutes and watch first run movies still in the theaters! I love it! I've told countless people about Graboid. I have no idea if they checked it out or not but, if not, they sure are missing a great experience. Also, I never understood torrents or how they work. I even purchased one once, downloaded it and could never figure out how to use it... I hated it! Plus I could not get my money back because I could never get hold of anyone to talk to about it! Supposedly it came with a money back guarantee. Graboid is simple. Pick your movie, tv show, etc., click download, wait 30 minutes or less, click play! As simple as that! Once again, I love it! No more video stores for me!

The picture is sharp and I love scrolling through the selection to see what catches my fancy that day. Stumbling across this site was the best thing that happened to me!!
