- sbcea, on 11/06/2009, -1/+37I can't believe their marriage has survived this long. I guess the secret is sleeping in separate beds.
- bigwhitecock, on 11/07/2009, -4/+20Buried. Does it have to make front-page every time Google changes their logo?
- sapphirecut, on 11/06/2009, -0/+14they also had cookie monster, my favorite!
- inactive, on 11/07/2009, -0/+8Either that or tickle me elmo.
- TSCheredar, on 11/07/2009, -0/+8Whatever. Bert and Ernie ftw. Cookie monster lost all respect when he sold out. "Cookies are a sometimes food" - BS maaaan.
- billhanifin, on 11/06/2009, -0/+8So, when do they start an Arnold Schwarzenner series? There are enough versions of camo that it could go on for a while!
- SpaceCowb0y, on 11/07/2009, -1/+7There was also Big Bird, Oscar, and Cookie Monster (my favorite). Why is this post even on front page? The image is so damn small.

Scroll down a bit, you will see all four of them. - Moralogic, on 11/07/2009, -0/+6He sold out when he quit eating cookies now in the newer episodes.
Anyways, Oscar is the man today! Woo hoo! - freezerburn666, on 11/07/2009, -0/+6who doesn't use google and notice this on their own? it's been on for days and days, can we stop digging this now? i thought it would stop at the big bird one hitting the front page but c'mon people...
- xero69, on 11/07/2009, -0/+5Sesame Street helped me start reading at a very early age, and gave me an edge that helped me excel later in life. Please consider supporting public television so our youngest audiences have something to watch on a daily basis that doesn't dumb them down or sell them fattening diabetes causing fast food and chocolate frosted sugar bombs. In most cases your contribution IS tax deductible, and they mail you a letter stating this which you can use as a receipt come tax time.

- Moralogic, on 11/06/2009, -0/+3Yeah, I liked cookie monster more.
nom nom nom nom - BREZZZ, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3Did anybody notice the buttons missing on the main page? It just said "Intentionally left blank" for a while, but for now appears normal.
- GailScott, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3I dig The Cookie Monster, but Bert and Ernie are like Abbott and Costello or Lewis and Martin--they're just a great team. And I love The Count because he's always conning someone into counting with him. He's hilarious--especially if one of his girlfriends is nearby. Yes, the muppets get a big digg from me--they are too cool.
- JKGuy16, on 11/07/2009, -0/+3"Bert, I wish you wouldn't drink so much Bert."
"Well Ernie, I wish you wouldn't eat cookies in the damn bed!"
"Bert, you're shouting again Bert." - captainchris, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2why do sites like google.ca and google.jp have the custom logo, but not google.com? or does google.com have the custom logo for people in the u.s.?
- gangavalli, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2The cookie monster is the best one in this doodle series. the entire series is here:

Not that there's anything wrong with that of course. - gl77, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2they also had one with Big Bird's legs as the "L"
- angrytortilla, on 11/07/2009, -0/+2Thanks to my dysfunctional childhood, I can easily report that tactic to be entirely useless.

- Foenetik, on 11/07/2009, -1/+1not to mention this is already a dupe. also, who doesn't see this ***** on their own anyways?
- rif42, on 11/07/2009, -1/+1Usually it is an artist impression of the subject that is integrated into the Google logo, but these Sesame Streets headings are picture perfect. They have also been on for several days.
To me it looks more like a advertisement agreement. - inactive, on 11/07/2009, -2/+1Thanks for the HuffPo linkage. http://digg.com/television/Google_Doodle_Celebrate ...
- rixbad, on 11/07/2009, -4/+1Loved Ernie, hated Bert.
