- xerofilter, on 06/16/2008, -2/+111"way to go starbuck - this place sucks!"
- dissolutionman, on 06/16/2008, -4/+87I half expected Tigh to yell "You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! Gods damn you all to hell!"
- Adgeman, on 06/16/2008, -5/+65Bastard spoiler! I've not seen Planet of the Apes yet and now you tell me it ends just like friday's BSG?! Spoilers!
- davincih, on 06/16/2008, -8/+62Definitely a great episode. It's going to kill me to wait 6 months for the next one. I don't know why they have to split the show up like that.
I'm really going to need alternatives to get through the next 6 months.
http://digg.com/television/Battlestar_Galactica_Al ... - inactive, on 06/16/2008, -7/+50The final Cylon is Chuck Norris, he is the only one who could survive a Nuclear Holocaust.
They will find him in an Igloo, eating baby seals alive. - inactive, on 06/16/2008, -17/+57Dugg just because Katee Sackhoff is ***** hot.
- Nasterisk, on 06/16/2008, -3/+43With the final five cylons power combined they summon Captain Planet, he cleans the place up and everyone lives happily ever after.
/sorry for the spoiler. - cdawzrd, on 06/16/2008, -4/+42Grace Park ftw...
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -7/+42The last Cylon is your mom.
- adml_shake, on 06/16/2008, -1/+26I can't wait for the next episode, but I was pissed beyond words when I saw that we wouldn't be getting it for 6 months.
- mbraynard, on 06/16/2008, -3/+27The number of secret cylons changed from five to four because the fifth was among those who were already on the basestar and had come over to prepare for the assault.
That should narrow it down. - inactive, on 06/16/2008, -9/+33Digg this because there's a spoiler in the title.
- Jadou, on 06/16/2008, -3/+25I miss Baltar's virtual Six. Where did she go?
Not really enjoying this messianic leader, Christ like Baltar.
He's losing his edge. - textrant, on 06/16/2008, -10/+32The last Cylon is Starbuck's Viper. Remember, the final five will show you the way to Earth.
- mdavis, on 06/16/2008, -0/+20What about Baltar's virtual Baltar?
- jedisushi, on 06/16/2008, -2/+21So say we all! Such a fantastic experience to follow this story. One of the best shows on television now or in recent memory.
- chrislerch, on 06/16/2008, -6/+24Err...the show was on three days ago. How long do people have to wait to talk about it? TV spoilers end when the show finishes airing on the West Coast.
- LordRahl72, on 06/16/2008, -2/+20Since Saul Tigh and Number Six is having a baby that would make the baby a full cylon. Would that not be the 5th cylon?
- mlrigsby, on 06/16/2008, -24/+41Buried for massive spoiler in the headline. I've seen the episode already, but it's not even a week old yet and there are probably plenty of people who recorded or downloaded it and haven't watched yet.
Lame. - rblancarte, on 06/16/2008, -0/+17http://www.myuselessknowledge.com/joe/serppic.gif
Maybe? - djcreamy, on 06/16/2008, -1/+18That's why my vote is on Gaius. D'anna listened to him during the episode. She also apologized to one of the five cylons when they were revealed to her because she "didn't know". Prior to that, she had been torturing Gaius viciously.
Many running theories say Dualla or Helo is the final cylon. Those characters are too secondary (and even tertiary in the case of Dualla, who has been all but written-off). The fifth has to be a shocker, that means Roslin, Adama, or Baltar. - Pillage, on 06/16/2008, -9/+25If it ends up being "global warming" I want them to take their Peabody and give it back.
- bdbr, on 06/16/2008, -0/+13Kobol was even better, wasn't it? They just had to leave because the Cylons found them. Kind of a return home, so to speak.
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+13yeah damn, so many girls on Battlestar are hot.
- viserov, on 06/16/2008, -1/+13Even D'Anna is hot, in a MILF sort of way.
- hackiavelli, on 06/16/2008, -1/+12Yes, because global warming leaves radioactive decay.
- pixelguru, on 06/16/2008, -0/+10Can't really be Adama since that would make Apollo the son of a cylon, which would break the premise. Roslin and Baltar have both had visions which could be indicative of subconscious cylon programming. Of the two, Baltar would be the obvious (as in expected and safe) choice. The premise that Roslin led the human race to earth despite being the very enemy they were fleeing from would be quite the Zen riddle to ponder.
- monkbot1, on 06/16/2008, -1/+11I just got the soundtracks for seasons 1-3 and it is the finest score I've listened to in a long time, the TV equivalent of LOTR I highly recommend it and check out Bear McCreary's blog on it
- Abomonog, on 06/16/2008, -0/+9If you think the show has taken a religious turn then you have missed the point of the entire series. From the very reason the Cylons attacked (to shed their creators and follow the One God) to Baltar's cult the entire show has been about religion. In fact the Cylons have been an excellent representation of all history's Christianity happening in one moment. We got inquisitions, multiple messiahs, and a grand exodus happening all at once. Now all we need is some nebula to mysteriously part somewhere and we just rewrote the bible for science fiction freaks.
- orxor, on 06/17/2008, -0/+9The final cylon has to be a female based on Geitas song, the drawing made by the 3 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/77/Batt ... the fact that it would make sense with Greek mythology, the sexes of the 12 Greek Gods and the cylons, also it would be a better balance for the story would seem sort of off if the final 5 were 4 males and 1 female.
If you look at the premonitions of the Hybrid "A way forward and once unthinkable yet inevitable, and the fifth still in the shadows will claw towards the light, hungry for redemption, that will only come out on how of a terrible suffering."
The 5th can only be Kat (Sasha) the hot shot pilot/drug runner that came out of nowhere and redeemed herself through terrible suffering (radiation poisoning). Also notice how the story keeps returning to her while most others that have died are forgotten Kara keeps coming back to her picture in several episodes this season. - had3l, on 06/16/2008, -0/+9At least New Caprica had Rivers and Forests and whatnot. Now that the Cylons and humans are friends again, why not just return there?
- Fundamental7, on 06/16/2008, -2/+11The music in this EP was great, anybody have the name of the track?
- HanSolo69, on 06/16/2008, -7/+15"I don't know why they have to split the show up like that. "
Did you already forget about that whole writer's strike thing? - viserov, on 06/16/2008, -0/+8Cally's too annoying to be a Cylon.
- had3l, on 06/16/2008, -1/+9That is a picture of Lucy Lawless though.
- nerdvernacular, on 06/16/2008, -3/+10Reminded me a bit more of the Foundation novels..
- viserov, on 06/16/2008, -0/+7Didn't Three say the final Cylon wasn't in the fleet?
So, maybe it was someone that died and was left behind. Or, it could be Admiral Adama's father or dead son, if you believe Leoben, who said that "Adama is a Cylon." - overshoot, on 06/16/2008, -1/+8'Tracks' would be a better word. Here is the composer's blog entry for "Revelations": http://www.bearmccreary.com/blog/?p=396 The music playing during last 5 minutes of the episode he calls "Diaspora Oratorio". The music playing when Lee Adama is about to open the airlock is "The Signal"...
- judojon, on 06/16/2008, -1/+8Can't be, the president was saved because the blood of his kid was hybrid
- UNCCEJ1010, on 06/16/2008, -0/+7They've finished producing them all, despite the strike.
- tazfreak294, on 06/16/2008, -1/+8Can't be Baltar because he didn't get sick when he went to the infected ship, unelss the final five are immune to that Cylon only disease
- cypher35, on 06/16/2008, -1/+7apples & oranges...
- chocobomog, on 06/16/2008, -0/+6Maybe, but there were 5 human figures in D'Anna's vision. What would a Viper's human figure look like?
- NeoSporin, on 06/16/2008, -1/+7You sound ugly
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+7So... you hate a show you've never actually watched...
- inactive, on 06/16/2008, -1/+7We seem to have swerved around a lot in Season 4. The show seems to have lost a bit of its grip, we got Baltars cliche, the cylon split, the magic viper, etc, etc.
What ever happened to the good old days of dusting toasters? - chris1671, on 06/17/2008, -1/+7.....
Puff the magic viper
In Galactica's bay
Leads them all to a blasted Earth
Full of radioactive decay
... - monkbot1, on 06/16/2008, -0/+5Baltar is too obvious, but that's why it might be true, we'll just have to wait and see
- bitterbug, on 06/16/2008, -0/+5Geiger counter.
- Phoenixfury, on 06/17/2008, -0/+5Wouldn't it be funny if the 5th Cylon was actually the lawyer Lampkin's cat. Everyone assumes the 5th Cylon to be a humanoid, but I suspect it's that little critter all along. Wouldn't that be a heck of a twist if it were true.
