- wayhomer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+24You go make your own animated sitcom ... and have it run for 18 seasons
- Egotrippin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19I don't care what people think, Simpsons is still a great show. Never get tired of it. Plus it would just feel weird if it wasn't there.

"Just don't look, just don't look".
Just don't watch the show. Your loss.
Besides, a new Simpsons episode is still a million times better than anything else. - MacGyver, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Great first comment.
That was really weird because my brain instinctively did the Mr. Burns accent the first time I read over it. - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11http://cdncon.wmod.llnwd.net/a277/o2/myspace/simpsons/simpsons_bk2.wmv from http://www.myspace.com/thesimpsons ...
It's up NOW! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10but if we dont support Metallica how can their band members afford another gold plated swiming pool ?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Well, they need time to dub the Simpsons into... um..... ..... English.
- TheWalkingDude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5You can download all 48 original Simpsons shorts here:
http://www.digg.com/television/Original_Simpsons_Cartoons_Free_for_Download - uberjurk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I always thought of the Simpsons as my favorite show, often watching downloaded eps on my computer as background noise when I can't decide on music, but something about last season was just so awful it's made the stronger older episodes lest palatable. It felt like the shows comedy devolved to its early 90's seasons 1-3 state of heavy plot emphasis with very little funny. Most episodes end with schmaltzy endings filled and sitcom cliche lessons learned. That's not funny, that's Full House.
Here's hoping season 18 jumps back over that shark.
//if not, let it go...and bring back Arrested Development - deadbaby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yep, season 16/17 were a big resurgence for the show. I don't understand why people feel the compulsive need to bash stuff because "it used to be better" You were like 10. Of course it was better. Everything is fresh and new when you're young. Some of us who haven't become bitter old whiners still enjoy the show greatly. It's just a show, relax.
- jobeus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The last season was the funniest in years... You'll be dugg down cuz you're ignorant, not cuz you have an opinion.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Family Guy = Cheesy Simpsons ripoff with a splash of Seth's stoned humour.
American Dad = Cheesy clone of Family Guy.
American Dad = clone(Family Guy) = rippoff(Simpsons) = Funny stuff. - shiftt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3couldnt care less what the topic is, the interesting bit is how they're marketing it
they're purchasing (and renting) internet real estate to promote their product as opposed to buying up thousands of highway billboards. it's unconventional marketing. - paulmdx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3In the UK we're only seeing season 13 for the first time on terrestrial (IE. free, non-satellite)! I'll be watching brand new Simpsons for another 10 years at this rate. :-| We're also only up to season 7 out on DVD.
- dawgma, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I don't see the picture from either link. only audio...
Any other alternatives? - IcerC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Where do we see it?
It's Friday right now... - legom7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I would like to thank fox for making the stream really smooth. There are too meny videos out there that are choppy.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4god damnit, metallica guest stars in it, that ***** ruined it for me.
- jd72277, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I think the only weak seasons were 1&2. Sure, some episodes have missed the mark, but this show continues to evolve and is always impressive. Its not dumbed down for the lowest common denominator (and I promised myself I wouldn't bash Family Guy...) so it will always have it's critics.
- NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I like how the image on the article is labeled a Reuters "photo."
- JEmerson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2There goes my interest as well. There's only been one or two guest star episodes that were actually good. All the rest of them struggled to even reach mediocre. Non-voice actors, who won't allow any but the most toothless jokes touch their holy auras, shoehorned into a script that didn't want them there.
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1dawgma: It's streaming Windows Media Video (ASF from what I saw in the WMV file). :(
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Aww, the preview is only like 6 minutes long with annoying Burger King ad and a behind the scene at the end. Total time is 9 minutes and 43 seconds long. At least there was a couch skit!
- wonderboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@jemerson
Homer at the Bat, Stark Raving Dad, and The Springfield Files to name just a few. - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1See above.
- ngageguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow...I like (not love) the Simpsons, but that episode preview was REALLY lame. I think the problem is it has been around SO long, that we know what to expect next.
- Firemanjoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1To think that I lived 10yrs before the Simpsons where born.....
- speaker219, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Sorry to top post, but here's the link to the actual video:
http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/foxbc/shows/simpsons/simpsons_ign.wvx - wonderboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hate to have to agree, but the Simpsons just aren't good anymore. The good episodes were seasons 3-10. Don't say I'm jumping on the bandwagon either. There's a reason a lot of people share the same opinion. I hear they have their old writers back for the movie though, so there's hope.
- rchtr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I adore Simpsons seasons 3-8, but it's long jumped the shark for me. I'm almost to the point where I hate it, it's been so bad for the last several years.
- metalrock76, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3ahhh, nerds getting hissy and arguing over the quality of a show / series. Its when this happens you know its a cult classic.
- lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I still get a laugh out of the show. It may not be as funny as before, but I'd rather watch the Simpsons over Survivor and Big Brother anyday. I just don't plan on ever buying any DVDs or merchandise, if it's on TV I'll watch it.
- robbh66, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3You're a simplton, son.
And no, that is not a play on simpsons. - gin613, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1I cant understand why they dont stop making the simpsons. The latest episodes are making people forget how good it used to be.
No doubt this will be dugg down, but face the facts. - Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4"Get off the bandwagon and maybe come up with your own opinion."
Yeah, let's hate those people who actually *share* an opinion. We can't allow that to happen!
"Besides, a new Simpsons episode is still a million times better than anything else."
Wow... You're sure valuing that series highly. A million times better than anything else? I can think of other better ones, but unfortunately they've been cancelled the past few years. Well, at least Futurama is returning. - spencewah, on 10/12/2007, -18/+11There was a time when I'd be excited for this. And that time was 1997.
Rest in peace, Simpsons. - NitrousFlare, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3Family Guy > The Simpsons
^ Super Pwns Simpsons - dolemite5005, on 10/12/2007, -13/+4Agreed, Simpsons has sucked for years. Time to kill it.
- Egotrippin, on 10/12/2007, -23/+5thats funny I just heard a million people say the exact same thing on the TV and the forums. Get off the bandwagon and maybe come up with your own opinion.
- Pluckie, on 10/12/2007, -26/+5I'll assume that was meant to be "exxxcellent" a la Mr. Burns
- JazzFlight, on 10/12/2007, -39/+9Yay. A sneak peek at more seasons of crap, compliments of The Simpsons.
END. THIS. SERIES. ALREADY.
I want the good old days back... (seasons 3-7ish)
