- Boshow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21I've been on the "April O'neil is hot" boat for years. No one else agreed. Now I have a voice. Next: Janine from Ghostbusters.
- shankrabbit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21"Hi, I'm He-Man. I'm strong as can be, and I brush my teeth regularly. Once in morning and once at night, and after each meal so my teeth will shine. If you remember this verse, then you'll be like the Masters of the Universe."
Who know brushing my teeth when I was 4 years old would ruin my psychological well-being for life.
I hate you He-Man. - magic6435, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Number one lesson from '80s Cartoons..... That '90s cartoons and everything since SUCKS.
Go Robotech! - nottidredd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Lesson learned from Thudercats: Cheetara was hot! Made me appreciate interspecies erotica.
- longhair, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13G,I Joe ruled.. Now as an adult I finally realize how much money my parents actually spent on my G.I. Joe toys. I had every action figure, jeep, tank, plane, and headquarters they made. My poor dad is probably still paying this ***** off on his Mastercard.
- roastedbagel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11LOL who the hell watched Gem??!!
Ok..guilty - drmangrum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Yeah, what happened? There no more saturday morning cartoons. There are no more after school cartoons. It's like after Power Rangers reared it's ugly head, cartoons went to *****.
- kaelyiesta, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8After TMNT it went down hill. Or I got too old... dunno which. Still, gargoyles wasnt too shabby. Instead of a red haired journalist, it was a blue haired cop though. I really wanted goliath to nail her.
- Sell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I absolutely hate it when a blog or website has a list and only puts one or two entries on a page and makes me click over page after page after page just to get to the end of the damn thing. ***** them and their page view whoring.
- eneshelon, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7cant believe they failed to mention thundercats!! thats totally staple 80s! i remember i used to even wet me hair to the side like liono hah aha. hoooo!!

- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Not completely related, but this topic brought the amazing Fensler Film G.I. Joe PSA remixes to mind. If you haven't seen these prepare yourself for one strange ride.

Who wants a body massage? - eudaimo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What of Batman The Animated Series? Justice League?
- HeyArnold, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5And knowing is half the battle!
- actorboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Wow, my percetion of time is all ***** up. I thought I remembered Popeye teaching me spinach was good for me back in the sixties, and that he was teaching me with cartoons made in the thirties.
- bitswapper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What was up with the disembodied brown hand on Velma's breast?
That and how is it that 'Decepticon' seems like another way of saying 'Republicon'? - theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Dude, when my mom moved to FLA 2 years ago, I went into the attic to help her clean it out. I found EVERYTHING! From the Rattler (Cobra's A-10 Warthog lookalike) to the Hovercraft. I took it home and gave it to my kids, and when they saw the stuff, they both ***** a brick wall! Of course, 20 years of South Carolina heat in the attic pretty much destroyed the rubber bands that hold the figures together (never did figure out why they made them like that) and made the plastic pretty weak, so in a matter of a week, that was that.
- bbrigg1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Yea, April was way hot. Did anyone ever notice in some scenes, two turtles had the same colored head band/mask on? It happened. Watch the DVD's.
- Denithor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you have not seen this yet, you are way behind in the interweb.
By the way, the smurfs also taught us this, http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/papasmurf.php - themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The most important lesson of all is: NEVER EVER LET LOU SCHEIMER PRODUCE A ***** CARTOON!
- xmuzik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2the smurfs were communists, that was great :)
- racerxs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Okay so it was "Truely Truely Outrageous!" what do you want from a brain as old as mine!
I watched 80's cartoons, so I am nearly a senior citizen now!
;-) - patsonrt1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2FTA "We'd like to point out that we're aware of the fact that some of the cartoons listed below did not originate in the '80s. However, they were on during the '80s, that's when we watched them, so they're '80s cartoons to us.

- CedEx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can fix the rubber bands by unscrewing the screw in their backs. The same hole used to hold their backpacks.
- averagemario, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What, no love for She-Ra?
- mypenis, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2crap. editted for dup
- caddyalan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Silverhawks always contained "let's learn about the universe" messages. Astronomy 101, if you will. At the time, I thought those were cool.
- HigherLogic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2You grew up. That's what happened.
- SxualVnilla, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Forget it, site back up
- derogatory, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0All he man taught me was how to punch down doors.
- jin6655321, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Silverhawks was an awesome show, one of the best theme songs ever.
- erstad27, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Almost as hot at Brittany from the Chipettes.
- HotrodTommy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0It's not "once at night", it's "once at bedtime"; not "If you remember this verse, then", it's "You'll remember this saying if you rehearse, and ..."! You didn't brush your teeth enough, did you?! Ha!
- mypenis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Two words define 80's cartoons:
Kenny Logan - ibeetle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Problem is a lot of these are not 80's cartoons. Some go back to the 1940's. Like Popeye; and Scooby-Doo is from the 1960's.
Marked Inaccurate. - Pzycho, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0You just unleashed a torrent of repressed brushing-related memories.
Bravo. - racerxs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Dude! "Gem is Totally Outrageous! Totally Totally Outrageous!!!"
- KuJo6784, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'd use the Eye of Thundera to peek under her leotard.
- Waiting2awake, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1 Having lived through the 80's I loved the 'toons. He-man, Thundercats, Transformers, etc all were rocking. In hindsight they also are quite gay.
I mean seriously, He-Man and his magic sword, to which he gains his super power when they raises his mighty sword?? I mean seriously, what are they trying to do to kids?
