- dingedarmor, on 11/17/2008, -3/+47What is sad is that Fuller writes these brilliant freaking shows like this one, Wonderfalls or Dead Like Me and they get ***** canned.....sigh.
- divinediva, on 11/17/2008, -4/+36This show gives such a magical spin on things that it is just really rewarding to watch. It's nice to see something that shoots for the light hearted, funny and romantic mixture.
- Computer_Kid, on 11/17/2008, -3/+28"Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgivingness, it's the best anyone can do."
Please ABC, make the right choice! - geniusNOTatWORK, on 11/17/2008, -2/+17I really hope ABC doesn't scrap this. Why can't they just get rid of ***** shows like Grey's Anatomy and its half-assed spin off?
- paulswhite, on 11/17/2008, -3/+17There's still a chance to save Pushing Daisies. ABC will be watching the ratings closely over the next two weeks before making the final decision on its fate: http://axiomsedge-scifi.blogspot.com/2008/11/weekl ...
- lovek, on 11/17/2008, -1/+14To whom at ABC do we mail the pies?
- blank816, on 11/17/2008, -1/+13they would rather get rid of this show instead of their other sex-themed shows ( Grey's anatomy, dirty sexy money, the practice, and ugly Betty). i think this is the best show on ABC so yeah to whom do we mail the pies?
Coroner: My niece gave me this sweater.
Emerson: That thing is uglier then a chipmunk's ass.
Ned: He means the sweater, not your niece. - RobotBuddha, on 11/17/2008, -1/+12The nerd labeling seems kind of a stretch. That said, it's a great show. One that I didn't expect would even get a second season. Different = canceled. I just hope they're able to wrap things up at the end.
- MrBlue999, on 11/17/2008, -1/+9This is really a great show. Ann Friel is gorgeous, the script is witty, and the directing is unique. I wish more people watched it.
- Computer_Kid, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7Dead Like Me isn't entirely canned, there is a movie planned for 2009:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Like_Me_(film) - DickyT83, on 11/17/2008, -1/+7I've never had a chance to watch this show. What's it about? Is it any good?
- sexybobo, on 11/18/2008, -1/+7The guy can bring people back from the dead by touching them. If he touches them again they go back to being dead permanently. If he doesn't touch them again in 1 minute something else has to die to take their place.
The girl was his childhood sweetheart chuck who he lost touch with after accidentally killing her father when he was a young kid. (his mom died he touched her not knowing the 1 minute rule then chucks dad died taking the guys moms place.[then the mom died when she kissed him goodnight]). Chuck moved to live with her aunt and he got sent to boarding school.
that is the back story the series begins with the guy and a detective partnering up to solve murders (he touches them they come to life he asks who killed them then touches them again) One of the cases he gets is chuck who he decides not to touch thus killing a crooked funeral home owner. So if he touches chuck who becomes his girlfriend she dies permanently and the series is about them solving murders.
All that being said it is a very cheerful romantic comedy. All the colors are very surreal and you get touches like the girls dresses almost always match the scenery/wallpaper. - radiohyped, on 11/18/2008, -1/+7save this show!
it's the most original show on television. - Gutterpunk, on 11/18/2008, -1/+7Pushing Daisies is the only show that both me and my girlfriend enjoy watching together.
Common ABC, don't break our couple! - Seizure, on 11/18/2008, -0/+5This less neglects the crazy awesome TMBG cover.
- antdude, on 11/18/2008, -1/+6Watch Wednesday night!! New episode!
- liljay2k, on 11/17/2008, -2/+6I agree with you whole-heartedly.
- sexybobo, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4It is not meant to be real or seam real. It is very surreal about every thing it does from the pacing to the fact that the girls dress always matches the scenery/wallpaper.
- HiImMikeCastro, on 11/17/2008, -1/+5I couldn't agree more, i tell everyone that this show is visual prozac. I cant help but feel better after watching this show no matter what mood im in
- omjeremy, on 11/17/2008, -1/+5ummm... he meant that the show puts him to sleep... mm'kay?
- bitweever, on 11/18/2008, -0/+4Plus, it's the most visually-unique show on TV.
- CoolHandLuke, on 11/18/2008, -1/+4They need to stop pitching shows like this to the big four networks and branch out to CW, Sci-Fi or other cable outlets. The smaller networks are the only ones who can appreciate the cult following that a show like this gets.
- DickyT83, on 11/18/2008, -0/+3Sounds pretty intriguing. I may have to download some of the episodes and check it out. Thanks for the nice little write up.
- samfishercell, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2One of my favorite shows on TV right now. Sports incredibly witty writing -- there are some things I haven't picked up on until the 3rd or 4th time I've watched an episode. If this gets canned, it will be a travesty (but what do you expect from a network that green-lit Cavemen...)
If you haven't watched this show, do so now. Unless you're too busy guffawing at the pile of drivel known as Family Guy --- in that case, we don't want you. - shadekeiko, on 11/17/2008, -1/+3ABC

Burbank, CA 91521-4551 - sexybobo, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2it has Anna Friel and Kristin Chenoweth in it that is enough sexy for me.
- Jones82, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2Because those shows get the ratings and therefore pay for themselves? I don't like it either but that's how it works.
- fnnkybutt, on 11/18/2008, -1/+3I adore this show - one of the truly GOOD shows that gets shown on tv here in Peru.
- antdude, on 11/18/2008, -0/+2Watch the pilot on abc.com?
- bitweever, on 11/18/2008, -1/+3My wife got me into pushing daisies, and I am so glad. Great show. Everyone watch the next two episodes!
- samfishercell, on 11/18/2008, -1/+2Go back to your Family Guy please, I think it's more at your "reading level."
- Vectorkov, on 11/17/2008, -2/+3Great show. I'll miss it for sure.
- warplayer, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I never got the nerd feel once while watching that feel. I mean, Ned is awkward, but it doesn't try to have a geek edge or anything.
- sexybobo, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1She use to be a jockey I don't know if that helps you any she ins't just a waiter she had an eventfull life then she came to work at the pie shop because it reminded her of a loved one.
- esc27, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1One day, and not to long from now, shows will be decoupled from the big networks and be distributed online, free to continue as long as they have people's support.
- dingedarmor, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1Yep, and I'm sooo going to buy it.
:) - samfishercell, on 11/19/2008, -0/+1Thank you for proving my point.
- IllBeBack, on 11/18/2008, -0/+1Ha ha - pussy.
- deshabble, on 11/17/2008, -2/+2It's not really for nerds at all. Though it isn't mainstream enough (mainly due to the whole bringing the dead back to life thing), but I like it because it has a bucketload of charm and wit. Just because a show doesn't have sex in it doesn't mean it is *****. Ugly betty is ***** and a protagonsit had a "sex addiction", Dirty Sexy Money has a godawful plot but is kept up because, occasionally, a lady wil be seen in her underwear.
- audioper, on 11/17/2008, -1/+1There are several websites dedicated to saving this brilliant show. One of them, savepushingdaisies.blogspot.com, takes donations, and uses the money to send flowers and seeds to the studio. Check it out!

- inactive, on 11/18/2008, -2/+2While I was really interested in this show after seeing the promo a few times, the show was a letdown for me. Too childish and not that deep.
- arkaycee, on 11/18/2008, -0/+0Still, if they cancel it... they've just made a huge mistake.
- LawnMowerKitten, on 11/18/2008, -1/+1My only problem with this show is the improbably articulate characters. The technical accuracy and pacing of the conversations seem more unlikely than the show's plot.
- paulswhite, on 11/25/2008, -0/+0John J. Joex takes a look at why Pushing Daisies was cancelled: http://digg.com/television/Why_Were_They_Cancelled
- paulswhite, on 11/24/2008, -0/+0The fans have not given up yet. Cast your vote on how the Save Pushing Daisies campaign should proceed from here: http://digg.com/television/Vote_on_the_Next_Steps_ ...
- LawnMowerKitten, on 11/18/2008, -1/+1It's all a matter of opinion. It's just my inability to accept that a waffle house waitress would be able to have Harvard level conversations. Also, I know it's not a waffle house.
My dislike of the show and my demonstration of it here should not detract from your satisfaction with and enjoyment of the show. - omjeremy, on 11/17/2008, -4/+3I was cringing the whole time I watched those clips. Yuck. This must appeal to DnD fans.
- Theresa42J, on 11/18/2008, -3/+1Thats what she said.
- badwithcomputer, on 11/17/2008, -4/+1are you sure you don't mean 80% landscape?
