- chrisgeleven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Great first two episodes. Jack kicking that suicide bomber off the train probably ranks in his top 10 all-time kills.
That adviser to President Palmer is the most annoying character in the history of 24. That is saying a lot too. I can't wait to the inevitable showdown between Jack and him. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20@itchne
9/11 spammer is back. DO NOT click on his link - shadyrudy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16Ahmed: My name is AGHH-MED!
Me: Your name is Kumar! - jevaun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Did anyone else notice that all the "Good guys" were watching Fox news, and all the "Bad Guys" were watching CNB? Now I wonder what CNB was supposed to represent....
- noliberalbull, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13you, my friend, are a dumbass, and a jerk...
... i had already seen it, but if I hadn't, I would be really pissed. - spinemangler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9@chrisgeleven
Hes referring to the tools who are spoiling episodes 3 and 4. Some of us have seen all 4 episodes, and these douches decided to spoil it for others who havent.
Oh, and if you just reply without reading, the there is no hope for you either. - ccheath, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I wanted to know what the 'high price' was that got Jack back... I hope it is revealed during the season ... in fact I'd bet that it is revealed
- chrisgeleven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I thought that while the Logan character was annoying, the character was brilliantly played. After all, everyone just assumed Logan was incompetent...no one had any idea he actually was the bad guy working with the terrorists. Especially after that revelation, Logan wasn't as annoying to me.
- lazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Im sorry, but having kumar from whitecastle REALLY ruins it.
I cant take the guy seriously anymore. - Jon20usa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Shut the hell up everyone who is spoiling it. There are some of us that haven't seen it yet damn it.
- KChambers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7You mean Logan didn't win that for all eternity last year. Good grief, I couldn't stand him all season.
- Netmindstorm, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Well being the 24 is aired on Fox, what "good guys" news station did you expect them to use? Even if Fox news was "liberal left", Fox would still use their own "news" as opposed to a competitor's channel. As for "CNB", well that makes sense. They [the terrorists] know that Fox news isn't really news at all and would rather get their info from a more credible source.
- skell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Anyone else notice how the suicide bomber boarded the Red Line in the middle of all the cars (like one is supposed to, for mass casualties), yet Jack kicked him out of the last car? And no, the bomber did not switch cars one he got inside. I guess you can't be too critical of the details, but come on....there's no way a suicide bomber would sit in the very last car of a train!
- RiemannLebesgue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5He's not talking about the article. The article only covers the episodes that have already aired.. He's talking about people on here who are spoiling Episodes 3 and 4. I don't blame people for being upset. They came on here expecting to read a review of something they had already seen, not some jerk's spoiler of tonight's shocking development.
- Netmindstorm, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7>>I wanted to know what the 'high price'
Houston Rockets had to trade Yao Ming to the the NY Knicks. - macaddct1984, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I would have to say biting through the henchman's jugular is in the top 5.
- TravisG5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"The house blowing up seemed to be the biggest explosion we’ve seen on 24."
What about the nuke in the desert during season 2?
Anyway, good review...
To all those people giving away spoilers, thanks a lot. Some people actually enjoy watching 24 for what it is, suspense! So stop being selfish idiots by ruining the surprise of whatever will happen tonight (please). - vagarach, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Do these guys just sit on digg spy all day to catch these stories early or what?
- hiscity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Agreed, as for weapons... The previous season where the terrorist were trying to deliver poisonous gas through the gas lines to homes was much more interesting. Glamorizing terrorists as typically middle class and educated seems to be quite a stretch as well.
As for realpolitik, the government giving up a counter-terrorism agent to the Chinese to be imprisoned or to terrorists to be killed is absurd. Rule #1 -- never negotiate with hostage takers, blackmailers, or terrorists.
And the "signed presidential pardon" ploy is getting old. So the plot could be better.
It seems that character "development" is what makes 24. How many mind-trips and heartbreaks can you put the hero through before he goes postal? What will they do for love?
I wonder if Jack's daughter gets killed in one of the blasts? Would that be enough for him to get his edge back? What would it take for him to turn and join the terrorist? Day 7, perhaps.... assuming there's anything left and the plot gimmick repetitions don't kill the show. - DangerMouse9, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's not as bad as having Rudy in it?
"Jack, can I come with you on the mission?"
"Sorry Rudy, you're too little." - seanalltogether, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Am I the only one not buying Wayne Palmer as a president? He's way to young for the role and has never been portrayed as a particularly strong character in teh previous seasons.
- noliberalbull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2dude... these two were aired last night. 2 more tonight...
- MonkeyMCSE, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3apparently I wasn't the only one who thought about whitecastle last night. I don't know if I can take his character seriously after the movies he's been in, but time will tell.
- leopardhunter, on 02/18/2009, -1/+3UBL?
- DrHockey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Bauer showing off his newly acquired vampire skills. Nice!

What? Logan is a bad guy. I'm just trying to catch up with the last season!
just kidding. - dshPls, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That guy was also on Ally Macbell or whatever.....I think he was the gay friend
- TravisG5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, this is a review of last night's 2 episodes... not a preview of upcoming ones.
- Doomsdalicious, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3C'mon guys. High price was nothing more than to get Jack back in the US so they could trade him for the information leading them to Phiad (I probably spelled his name wrong) and stop the terrorist threats that are randomly happening. I wouldn't read into it really any more than that. Go Bauer Power!!!
- Hermel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1> Just how realistic is 24's portrayal of terrorists? Do you think terrorists will try to copy what they see on 24?
Maybe as realistic as the portrayals of the beach bunnies in baywatch. The idea of detonating some bomb in a city is hardly original, I don't think a terrorist could learn much from that. - waz67, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1skell:
>>Anyone else notice how the suicide bomber boarded the Red Line in the middle of all the cars (like one is supposed to, for mass casualties), yet Jack kicked him out of the last car?
No, actually after reading this, I just went back and looked at that scene, and it clearly shows the bomber boarding near the end of the platform, quite conceivably where the last car would be. - dodgyd55, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh now i thought i watched 6 eps when it was 5 oops :P
- kingstarscream, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1kicking the bomber out of the train is right along with when he killed that commando with a flare gun and his CQC kill in season two.
- kaje, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This reminds me of "Snape kills Dumbledore."
"Noooooooooo! Bitch! You bitch!" - flair1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1CNB=CNN
What should MSNBC be? - chrisgeleven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I didn't read the digg down posts. And I didn't know you could already get episodes 3 and 4.
Not that it matters, I'm watching tonight. - mickeyknoxxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"That adviser to President Palmer is the most annoying character in the history of 24"
You have no idea how much I agree with that. - Hentez, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Welcome back 24, it has been to long!
- mickeyknoxxx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Supernova17 is a known Digg terrorist.

- namit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I do not want to read this because will spoil the surprise but when is it out?
- DangerMouse9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0UPN?
- chrisgeleven, on 10/12/2007, -7/+4Hmm, let me think. Digg post is titled "24 Season 6 Premiere Episodes 1 & 2 Review (Spoiler Warning)".
If you can't figure out there are spoilers in this, then there is no hope for you. - malcolmreynolds, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Nice, but hasn't everyone seen the first 4 episodes, and the first 15 minutes of ep 5? Oh well, I watched on tv anyways because 24 is freaking AWESOME!
