- Chewie67, on 07/10/2009, -0/+6There's an age old adage - for every beautiful woman, there's some guy who's tired of ***** her.
Hard to believe you could grow tired of a beauty like Liz Hurley, but it happens. - Brian47126, on 07/10/2009, -0/+6Max Von Sydow -- Needful Things
I thought he was perfect as the Devil. - hipnerd, on 07/10/2009, -1/+7Jack Nicholson in The Witches of Eastwick
Robert Deniro in Angel Heart
I agree on Ray Wise though. Loved Reaper. Loved his performance. - Dorkside, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5I was going to post how upset I was that they left Ray Wise off the list, but I was pleasantly surprised to see him at number one.
- RobotKeaton, on 07/10/2009, -0/+5They missed this ol' gem.

- leif77, on 07/10/2009, -1/+5Did you just compare Elizabeth Hurley to Megan Fox? You have a lot to learn still my young padewon...
- TheUnlearn, on 07/10/2009, -0/+4that's "tired of putting up with her *****."

- SamSks, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2Variety is the spice of life.
There was a story of President and Mrs. Truman touring a poultry farm. Mrs. Truman was a little bit ahead of the President.
Mrs. Truman and the tour guide came upon a rooster. The farmer gave Mrs. Truman the whole spiel about their lives and everything and Mrs. Truman asked how many times does the rooster mate. The farmer said several times a week. Mrs. Truman responded, "Tell that to the President."
When Mr. Truman came to the same spot, the farmer relayed the statement to the President. Truman asked the farmer if it was with the same hen. The farmer replied that it wasn't. It was with all the hens. Mr Truman responded with, "Tell THAT to Mrs. Truman!" - withoutamartyr, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2Viggo never played Leatherface... I think you're confused. He was in a TCM movie though.
- doctordbx, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2and in The Pick of Destiny, he was brilliant, much better than half that list.
- SirFoxx, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2Viggo in Prophecy. Easily the scariest and most believable Satan on-screen. Tim Curry second. Ray Wise third.
- thelab101, on 07/10/2009, -1/+3top ten list FAIL
- inactive, on 07/10/2009, -0/+2peter stormare was the best thing about constantine. creepy as can be.
- meruru, on 07/10/2009, -2/+4Licky Nicky should never be included in a list of the greatest anything
- jonmlm, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1no billy crystal? buried.
- Brandizzleb90, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1But at least we still have Supernatural.
- Powerfan5000, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1It feels like I'm wearing nothing at all!
- abadonn, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1I've always loved the devil from Master and Margarita.
- teamtom, on 07/10/2009, -1/+2Peter Stormare from Constatine, the guy is evil incarnate.
- mccartyba, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1"But no matter what you call him, he's one of the scariest villains you can think of."
Nope, I'm pretty sure I find Freddy Kruger to be more frightening that Satan or God. I think Satan would just be a fun guy to hang out with. - JonnyIsElectric, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1get back to 2003
- Encephalon, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1I think the Devil would just want to rock out to metal and do a few lines of coke, neither of which seems very scary to me.
- iamsocruel, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1i know, i watched this movie again after i saw the lord of the rings and i was like wtf? that's aragorn!
- RaulMuadDib, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1Funny in Carlito's Way too
- bobbi21, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1Yeah, the devil doesn't seem that scary. I feel in general, any individual human isn't important enough for him to really care about. Sure he'd be the strongest "villain" but he'd just as likely give up just cus he felt like it. Or just strike you dead with a snap of a finger.
Villains like Reavers in firefly. Those guys freak me out. "If they take the ship, they'll rape us to death, eat our flesh, and sew our skins into their clothing. And if we're very, very lucky, they'll do it in that order."
A bunch of evil dolls freak me out too forgot the movie I saw them in. valley of the dolls or something. - Darksoul, on 07/12/2009, -0/+1Dugg for "Ray Wise" as the devil in reaper he is the best I have seen so far.
- WaCkYmAk, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1John Goodman as Charlie in Barton Fink should be #1
- SinisterSaracen, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1Peter Stormare as Lucifer in Constantine is more evil and scary than anything on this list.
- arch3r, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1George Burns in "Oh God!, You Devil"
- iamsocruel, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1yeah, he was the crazy guy with the brace on his leg
- Darksoul, on 07/12/2009, -0/+1I was going to say Nicholson in Eastwick should of been on that list.
- bobbi21, on 07/10/2009, -0/+1I didn't think he was the actual devil. Defeated a little too easily I feel (at least in the book.) Great character though. Love the demons that play with ppl to make them do evil.
I agree, Von sydow did do a pretty good job. - feistyfish, on 07/11/2009, -0/+1dugg simply for having all the pieces of the article on the same page
