- desdinovaguitar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3i think we may be forgetting that the "others" are a bunch of dress up scientists who seem to be very keen to make it look like they are at least partially savage, i mean, carrying people away in the middle of the night, taking children and pregnent women. Rusoue said that henry wanted to be caught, and while she may be at least a little crazy, id chalk this up to her probably being right. they were pissed at ethan because he didnt compile the list of the ones to be taken, what a chance this would be to re infiltrate the group?

Anyways, I think this fits into Digg simply because LOST is a sci-fi show. I'm sure many people here watch it..

On the most recent Official LOST Podcast, Carlton and Damon hinted that Henry may in fact be telling the truth. They said that since we've been conditioned to expect people not to be who they say they are, it would be really fun and interesting to have a character that is who he says he is.

- form3hide, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Ok, the thing with Henry Gale. He could be an other using Desmond's story. Afterall, Desmond also claimed that he raced around the world in a hot air balloon, and landed on the island via a balloon.

- suprfli, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5You can see the basket under the material so you know it's a balloon. When Sayid was questioing Henry he made Henry describe the balloon and Henry said it was red w/a big yellow smiley face.
Also, people should consider this too...What if Henry is an "Other" but he saw this crashed balloon site and knew about it from his travels in the woods. When he was captured he made up this story that his balloon crashed. If you want to be skeptical, finding the balloon still doesn't prove that it was his balloon.

But I didn't read the title... i was scanning from the bottom and accidentally saw "smily face balloon" and being a lost fan I kinda figured what it was about. - aeiou, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Its very interesting because Henry (the guy that Jack, Lock, and Saide (sp?) have imprisoned) claimed to have been on a balloon flying accross the pacfic. This picture would seem to lend some credence to that story, although as mentioned, it doesn't necissarily mean that his story is true. Personally, I tend to want to believe him.
