- tkstock, on 11/20/2008, -0/+2I guess it depends where you're at - at my house, my friend only gets 0 to 1 bars with his iPhone - and it takes forever to get emails, etc. He said it's the same in other areas around our city, and I live in a moderately sized city (~200K people).

- orion9, on 11/21/2008, -0/+1When they are priced FREE after rebate, i might consider it.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I get great service with AT&T, but I totally understand what you're saying. If you paid for the phone, it should be yours and you should be able to switch providers without having to buy a new phone. I don't see how these companies exercise this practice on a gadget that YOU paid for which belongs to YOU and not them.
- inactive, on 11/20/2008, -0/+1I'm in Atlanta, Ga. Whether I'm in the city, or go up to the mountains, I've never lost service or dropped a call. On the other hand, a guy I work with is on Verizon and he says his service is great around here also.
