- CCraft, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I have a blog on Blogger, well, actually 3 on the same account. I entered my login info and selected Blogger as the type of blog. Then when I try to blog a story, I got this error:
There was an error posting your item - com.google.blogger.api.UserNotAuthorizedException: Sorry, this login does not authenticate against this action and post.
Can you offer any help with this?

Chris - jefflundberg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In response to SpyderFCS. I can't speak about other blogging software, but I would recommend Wordpress users create a new user called "digg" (or something) and give that user priveleges to post.

Also, I don't know what security risks might be associated with storing user's blog information (logins and passwords) on digg.

I created a user for digg so that Kevin Rose couldn't hack into my account and allow his hordes of buffoons to tell me to dance the iDiot conga with them for a free jelly roll, and made sure it worked, but alas!
