- Neiliosullivan, on 11/28/2007, -8/+37Axxo makes a specific kind of rip for a specific type of person, namely the type that is patient, wants great picture quality and doesn't care about sound too much. There are many of these people as evidenced by his popularity, and he will be missed. He has become a brand name, and that's where the troubles have come from. He has to protect that brand name and Pirate Bay wasn't helping him. He doesn't do this for recognition or fame, he does this because "aXXo" has become a trusted indication of a solid dvd rip. Nothing fancy, nothing fast, but very solid rips. Take it or leave it. Personally I await his return.

"First you need to download this program:
http://www.activestate.com/store/download_...99-e1 ...
Then Download this file:
http://www.2shared.com/file/2204189/ce1a40c9/decod ...
And after installing the programo copy the 2nd file and the main movie that's encoded and past it on the main directory which is c:perl
and copy the movie that is encoding with domplayer or 3wplayer and then open the command line and write :
for example i will try to decode the file ****.avi
c:
cd
cd perl
perl decode.pl ****.avi new.avi
Now you will fine the new decoded movie in the same directory c:perl "

People who don't like Xvid files being released on public bittorrent trackers = funny. - ovejon, on 11/29/2007, -0/+7I guess the reason why aXXo is so popular is because he does dvd rips that can fit in one cd. A lot of people don't give a damn about scene releases and they rather get something that is easily accessible, with decent quality and that it fits in one cd as one file rather than dividing the movie into two separate files.
Personally, what I would like to see someone do dvd rips with the following:
1) Video encoded in h.264
2) Audios encoded in He-aac
3) Using the mkv container and include subs
4) And fit the movie in one cd with video and sound quality that is comparable to the original source. -
