"Sun Burro" Mistaken for Sombrero

news.yahoo.com — An AP photo on a Yahoo news story on immigration protests has a caption that says: "Salvador Zavala wearing a sun burro, holds an American flag with his two daughters". Unfortunately, they seem to mean "sombrero". You'd think AP would check their sources or know what a sombrero was especially when the story is about immigrants.

  • DrRo183, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ha, I kinda see how it could easily be a mistake to anyone that doesn't know, but only heard the word. 'sun' burro, so they figured, "it must be sun-something. Let's try BURRO!"
