- TheRunes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I still wont/can't watch. I got disgusted with G4TechTV and blocked the channel on my cable box. I used a random code i generated and then forgot the code so I could never lower my intelligence with that garbage channel again. Now its G4 and its much worse that right after the merger. I only wish CFH was on another channel so I could watch and enjoy the show. G4 thinks this move will improve its ratings, but I know lots of people that think like me.

Since then I have gotten into podcasting (twit, diggnation etc). I'm not sure if this is enough to bring me back to digital cable (maybe if patrick, leo, and kevin were all on the air).
I think its very exciting for those who currently have digital cable.

The comments after the post were spot on - I left angry - I tried hanging on for as long as I could, but it just kept losing more and more of that nerdy goodness. There is nothing that I really prefer to watch on tv the way it is. Back in the day I could watch ttv for hours on end. G4 has killed all that was tv for me. I will in no way support them by watching their new shows.

I went to a car dealer and test drove this really cool sports car. I got to take it home for a week and realized this was perfect for me. I couldn't think of anything I would change, even if I could. I took it back to the dealer to sign on the dotted line, I had already made it my own. They took it around back to detail it and brought me back a minivan. Angrily, I told them this was nothing like I wanted and the dealer pointed out that this one had a sunroof.

- JohnathanG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I would assume there will be no changes to the current CFH2 format, as it's now produced in Canada by Rogers Media, owners of G4TechTvCanada. Therefore, while the US Comcast-owned G4 can buy the program and show it, I doubt they will have much control over the actual show itself. Which is good, because if they could control it, they'd screw it up, like they have everything else.
FWIW, I think Fastlane is a cool show, shouldn't have been canceled by FOX. BUT - it airs on two networks now, neither of which seems to be a great fit. CourtTV and G4. G4 is probably a better fit than CourtTV. But, the best place would have been a channel like USA or SpikeTV, that already has a bunch of cop/action type shows. I dropped my Comcast service because they really screwed up a great channel when they bought TechTV. I now have WOW and only the basic service... I'm not gonna pay more to watch a crappy channel like G4.

It's a good thing that there is TWIT to keep me sane or else I would be forced to write e-mails in large, red, bold fonts to the G4 producers and those idiots at comcast condemning all of them to the deepest pits of hell were they'll be forced to watch reruns of AOTS for the next couple of eons.=)) Only good thing left on G4 in my opinion is Morgan Webb.We need Leo back!!!
