- rebrad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0OK Here are my predictions for 2006;
1 - The RIAA and the Big 6 Recording Labels will be charged by the Department of Justice under the Rico
statutes for their strong arm tactics against consumers, price fixing and creating false expenses to cheat
recording artist from their share of the profits. Unfortunately for the media charged that the Bush Administration only took this action after this group donated millions of dollars to the Hillary Election Committee. Video's of the Senate Hearings and CNN Specials were the tops sellers on iTunes for $4.99 for 3 plays.
2 - Sony in a desperate effort to regain plunging sales internationally except Japan made a cash purchase of Apple and immediately rebranded the iPod as the Sony iPod. That and the format change to ATRAC on Sony iTunes resulted in an initial bulk by Apple fans but once Sony announced Steve Jobs would preside over Sony's new Apple Entertainment Division which merged all of Sony's music, gaming, software and computer divisions they quickly fell in line and declared that it was a wonderful world.
3 - AED (Apple Entertainment Division) released OS XI for the iMac. It was declared the best OS ever and it's new SOMA feature that tracks users favorites as a milestone in automating a true user interface.
More to come - aaronlidman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0very interesting, read it all, some seem rediculous some seem likely. Like to see something about hardware (ex. ATI/Nvidia, Intel/AMD ect...)
- cfdisk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why would he sell digg. Unless he is lying to all of us and is only in it for the money. Their has been a ton of interviews where he has said that he loves what he is doing. So this tells me he is not doing it for the money. Selling digg any time soon. I think not.
