- adcat, on 10/12/2007, -3/+30Yeah, I really have a hard time catching old episodes of Seinfeld on TBS, FOX, etc...
- dhulser, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24i'm excited for Gumby! man iIloved that show!
- damonlab, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Too bad they won't be released in a higher quality format than flash.

- streetstealth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I'm excited too, but it just won't be the same for me without the '80s TV commercials.
"Crossfire / You'll get caught up in the / Crossfire / Crossfire / CROSSFIRE!"
"Batteries not included." - Garageband, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Gumby + Pokey + Blockheads = Awsome
- windwaker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Great, now all YouTube needs is higher resolution! The picture looks like it is stretched already in the video player (or else it's that weird FLV codec).
Seriously, if Google Video supported higher resolutions I would never post anything on YouTube again. But this is just the way it is, I guess. - KyleMistry, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Dude, what? GUMBY?
***** yes. - otheruser, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13Seinfeld
- zlintux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Gumby is classic...
But, is it just me, or were the block heads supposed to be commies? - jawbreaker4fs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6You mean the snorks?
- BattleStar47, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Does anybody know if they have a list of the shows?
Hopefully it will include The Honeymooners! - solarisom, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10How about Salute Your Shorts? I miss classic Nick...
- geeker819, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5So much for it being "YouTube."
- apothekari, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8I am so glad someone is finally doing this.
I used to love nick @nite back in the day now all they run is a show that just left nbc or cbs,abc a year or so ago and they run 10 episodes in a row out of order and in 2 weeks you've seen every episode or you catch an episode and then don't see it for a month or so and tune in again and it's the same episode you just friggin' saw last time!
I hope they do

Jeezus my list is huge sorry I got carried away... - deusdiabolus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7YouTube just deleted the account of Naztradamix, creator of the notorious MyWay Productions parodies such as The Juggernaut Bitch and Kill Vega.
As far as I'm concerned, they can roast in hell. - Elloydo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I hope to God they put Gilligan's Island on. I haven't seen Mary-Ann in short-shorts for over seven years!
- KyleMistry, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4A lot of that user-generated content were whiny little emo children complaining about their failed relationships in front of their grainy .3 megapixel camera.
So, I don't think we're really missing out on that much. - antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"The deal is among the first giving users free access to full-length commercial television shows through YouTube, the companies said." Free! Probably had ads though?
- danboarder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4It's unfortunate that Google / Youtube is losing what Youtube used to be about -- which was user-generated media.
My observation is this: Since the merger they are emphasizing traditional media/shows/promos/trailers/clips... looking at the front page of youtube, it's mostly promo clips from major studios and networks (with some user/Directors featured from time to time).
Some of us were hoping for some new 'online stars' to emerge via the web and blog networks using Youtube. - baxtermaddux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4snorkles please
- TiMMY8765, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Pete & Pete FTW
- buss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Youtube is in serious need of Doug episodes. There's a bomb in the lasagne!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Crossfire Live: http://gorillamask.net/crossfire.shtml
- ddh1969, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Can we squeeze "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea" in on a technicality?
- racer108, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's true, but you had to know it was coming. They very well know that professional/commercial content can make them more money than videos of someone smashing a flaming can of WD-40 with a sledgehammer.
- damagemanual, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lancelot Link & Dark Shadows please!
- kingace, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5seantheblonde:
In your case, it was right that they didn't allow it. - LordSpam, on 10/12/2007, -10/+12I'm Gumby dammit!

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea - Culled, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Or at least not without using the copyright owners crappy web site to view the shows. When ABC first put Lost online for free I was excited but the player sucks so badly, same with NBCs video viewing site, and Comedy Centrals. I wish they would just use youtube; the picture isn't always as good but at least it works correctly.
- ddh1969, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No, you won't get Seinfeld...hell...not even Sanford and Son in all likelihood...if you can still see them on TV that's a pretty good indication you won't see them online...at least legally...
- kcmcgruff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This could be the start of something BIIIIIIG. I have been waiting for something like this to develop! All I can say is that my online video watching will increase dramatically. GUMBY!!!!!!
- nuclearpenguins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Missed it by that much...
- bioskope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2'Heroes' is a classic , no? XD
- Aeiri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Crossfire didn't require batteries. I know because I still have my Crossfire... board... thing...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What, No Astro Boy? No Trasformers? not even the Go Bots...what the hell man
- Bozodog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2My Mother the Car, December Bride, Our Miss Brooks, Pete and Gladys, My Little Margie, Peoples Choice, I Remember Mama, I Married Joan
Let's here it for the oldies, unavailable anywhere. - Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I loved Gumby.
It was my first scary experience as a child.
To this day, I'm bothered by Gumby, and all claymation in general.
I can't watch Wallace & Grommit because of my childhood experiences with Gumby, either :( - mastastealth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Awesome, I can see that Gumby guy and Pokey once again! Ahh...the memories...
- moonshn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://stage6.divx.com/
- beatlenuttt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1how about the 2nd longest running non new tv show in history, My Three Sons. They haven't released a dvd yet.
- zaren, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1All of these videos were licensed to the iTunes Store a week or two ago. (http://www.ipodnn.com/articles/07/01/24/dmgi.content.on.itunes/) I wonder why they're going to YouTube for free.
- uidzero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does it matter which site you post it to? They are both owned by Google anyway. :)
- uidzero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's not losing what it was about. Google video and YouTube both started with that vision as a way to build critical mass but Google video, and I beleive YouTube had plans to sell videos (much like Itunes does).
- xoineg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I LOVE LUCY!!!!!!!!!!
- astrotrain, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Need more Kroft Superstars...or Hanna Barbera shows.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1I have the Pete and Pete first season on DVD! It's awesome...
