- fireflydigi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11That's because they are constantly getting Dugg from the new Video section!
- GrayOne, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Too bad they have no business model and will be out of business in 6-12 months when they run out of money.
- SwordofKahless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Probably one of the major TV networks will buy them before that happens.
- MonkeyFit, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7How many articles have we had hit the front page now detailing YouTube's phenomenal growth? Don't get me wrong, it's a great site and I love it, but if you haven't seen any of the other stories related to this, then you probably haven't been to digg in at least a week.
- drawkbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2YouTube, now is the time to sell. It is growing like wildfire but sell while its still very very hot.
- bigteebo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah I'm sure plenty of sites with videos will be namedropped, but none of them have the content(or variety of content) YouTube has. It's sure as hell more entertaining(and easier to navigate) than google video has been.
- Tocc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Since most of you have ads blocked. They are starting to put them up which will generate some money.
- Atom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I personally love Youtube but I dont see any way for it to survive. The sheer amount of bandwidth they go through in a single month must be staggering. Unless they can secure some serious financing to buy them time to come up with a buisness model, its Game Over.
- wbeavis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1YouTube will probably be one of the first targets for the anti-"Net Neutrality" legislation.
- punkrockxtian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1For those who do not know, spamming IS annoying.
- JerMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1... or because of the 87 million users of myspace.
- KCorax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I remember hearing on TWIT that they began with 11 million $, with a burn rate of 1m$/month. How much life does this give them ?
- timmage89, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Any article with the word phenomenal is automatically dugg by me. What a phenomenal word!
- rysolag, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2i've been seeing them too. is youtube headed for the singularity?
- wayjer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is attributed to their, Phenomenal Growth.
- palmer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0WHO CARES?
We don't need a daily update on YouTube or any other Web site. - joesmith, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Or http://www.gotuit.com for better playback and professional content.
- scott1, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3This is the really digg effect.
- DarthDaddy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2For those that do not know, http://www.metacafe.com/ is pretty good for videos as well.
